Purpose of Role
As Digital Fundraising Lead you’ll oversee Comic Relief’s Digital Fundraising & Engagement programme, from strategy to delivery; managing and developing a team of high performing colleagues. You’ll be role modelling and leading expert collaboration across the organisation, and with partner organisations, to deliver integrated digital fundraising and audience engagement growth in line with organisational objectives.
As a digital first organisation, a significant proportion of Comic Relief’s fundraising and public engagement is delivered via digital channels. In this high impact role, you will lead individuals and cross-organisational project teams to innovate, optimise and execute digital strategies and activities including shaping web UX journey’s; designing email communications and integrated digital media campaigns (including media targeting and digital content); and leading product and proposition development, all to deliver agreed annual income targets from a growing active supporter base. Championing innovation, robust test and learn and performance marketing methodologies, the Digital Fundraising Lead will ensure Comic Relief’s investments in digital fundraising and engagement deliver maximum gains towards a just world free from poverty.
Key responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
· Lead the strategy setting; annual planning and budget setting for Comic Relief’s Digital Fundraising and Engagement activity, including keeping abreast of external trends; innovations and digital developments and exploring how these factor into Comic Relief’s objectives; building financial models, developing business cases, setting and monitoring budgets and managing reforecasts throughout the year.
· Where appropriate, bring x-organisational project teams together to strategise, plan and deliver digital fundraising and engagement change projects.
Delivery & Performance
· Working as a lead within the Public Activation & Individual Giving team, work with the team and wider organisation to champion digital innovation and performance optimisation, specifically leveraging new technologies, tools, approaches and data-driven insights to ensure digital communications and experiences are appropriately targeted, designed and delivered in a way that maximises audience growth, engagement and income; return on investment and / or life time value in line with agreed objectives.
· Ensure a robust and continuous test and learn methodology is applied across the team; results and learnings are recorded, systematically actioned and shared for maximum impact.
· Bring teams together to ensure our Digital Fundraising and Engagement strategies and plans are aligned with organisational capabilities and priorities and
oversee direct interventions to take advantage of opportunities; solve problems and mitigate risks to delivery and performance.
· Lead stakeholders across the organisation, unifying separate digital fundraising and engagement campaigns and activities (paid, owned and earned) to ensure digital efforts and investments are integrated and streamlined to maximise effectiveness and efficiency in delivering organisational goals. This includes collaborating to optimise the website and use of social channels to drive agreed data acquisition, supporter engagement and income KPI’s.
· Accountable for Comic Relief’s:
- development of agreed digital campaigns, content, products and propositions and their performance against agreed organisational objectives and KPI’s.
- paid digital media programme, including the contractual and performance management of external digital agencies, specifically paid digital media, ensuring value for money and delivery to agreed KPI’s. This includes coaching and supporting the Digital Growth Manager to inspire, optimise, manage and evaluate supplier performance.
- email marketing strategy, including strategic use of marketing cloud and integration with CRM to maximise engagement and fundraising, through effective segmentation, targeting and personalisation of audiences and messages. Coach and support the Email / Digital Officer(s) to continuously test, optimise and evolve email activities to achieve agreed KPI’s.
- use of digital data (including GA4) to inform the development and optimisation of user experience and supporter journeys.
- Operate as primary point of contact with BBC Marketing and other partners, specifically in relation to digital fundraising strategies, retaining accountability for the development of Red Nose Day web pages, supplying content and performance tracking.
Leadership & Management
· Manage and coach a team of digital fundraisers to execute fundraising, (acquisition and engagement), activity across digital channels to deliver against agreed plans and objectives to time and to budget, specifically focussed on the UK public audience: individuals and communities of individuals (including schools and workplaces).
· Foster a culture of high performance and build organisational expertise through a structured test, learn and iterate approach where data, learning and insight is used to make informed decisions and implemented swiftly to ensure ongoing optimisation.
· Maintain regular two-way communication and dialogue with staff and peers, ensuring information is cascaded and escalated as needed.
· Provide balanced, constructive feedback, undertake effective performance management to embed accountability and proactively support the professional development and growth of colleagues.

Person specification
Essential criteria
· Experience of designing, implementing and optimising digital strategies and user journeys to achieve ambitious B2C sales/fundraising outcomes for a high profile brand.
· Significant experience of paid, owned and earned digital channel planning and delivery; media buying and performance management, including attribution modelling/tracking.
· Extensive knowledge and proven technical experience of using Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM); Email Service Providers (ESP) and Google Analytics (GA4) & associated systems to optimise engagement and income.
· Experience of designing and leading the development and execution of digital products and content for defined audience segments based on data insight.
· Experience of defining digital strategy and designing and managing budgets including planning, building and managing detailed, annual and campaign models and budgets.
· Proven team leadership, line manager and effective relationship builder with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different styles and ways of working. Able to demonstrate a coaching approach to effectively manage and motivate a team.
· Effective relationship builder with the ability to influence stakeholders and partners with proven evidence of leading and working effectively in cross-functional digital project teams to deliver organisational goals from high impact below the line public campaigns.
· Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to digital marketing activities, including GDPR; PECR and advertising standards.

Core Job Purpose:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, overseeing and coordinating all of FCW’s in-cell production. This is an exciting and varied role which helps contribute to the smooth running of the charity.
The duties of the role include:
· Administration of sending and receiving kits stitched in prison.
· Supporting volunteers teaching in prison by dealing with materials requests and orders.
· Ensuring our stitchers are paid for their work accurately and efficiently.
· Providing feedback on the stitching by our in-prison workforce.
· Assisting the extended production team with the ordering of materials, special commissions, donations requests and our tapestry finishing service.
· Gathering, logging and reporting on information related to production and prisoner pay using FCW’s custom database.
· Visiting our stitching groups in prison to get an better understanding of the challenges with production that both our volunteer teachers and our stitchers might face in delivering FCW production
You should have excellent interpersonal skills, be accurate in your attention to detail, be flexible and have the ability to take initiative. We expect you to work independently, prioritising your own workload, as well as working as part of a small, lively team.
Principal Accountabilities for the Core Job:
- Support our volunteers and stitchers by sending our pre-prepared kits to volunteers around the country ahead of the stitching classes and receiving kits back from volunteers.
- Administer the production process on FCW’s custom database: logging items as they are sent to prisons and volunteers around the country, tracking items as they are returned from prison, providing feedback to prisoners on the work completed and maintaining standards through rigorous quality control.
- Process payments to prisoners on a weekly basis.
- Support Fine Cell Work volunteers by dealing with requests for threads and troubleshooting problems with kits.
- Log data, collate and report on production, prisoner pay and stitcher statistics as required for the senior management and the fundraising teams, to include monthly reports and annual reports.
- Supporting the use of FCW’s custom database to include testing and feedback on new features and uploading and maintaining relevant information.
- Order materials in advance for production activities in prison workshops as well as at the FCW office, liaising with commercial suppliers as well as materials donors. Supporting the production manager with the production of all kits in prison workshops as well as by volunteers in the office.
- Work with the Programmes and Impact Officer to enable Open College Network accredited training to be delivered in prisons by making up and sending out starter kits and materials to stitchers.
- With the Programmes and Impact Officer, provide technical support for our lone stitchers by sending out work, talking to them on the phone or replying to letters.
- Where appropriate, working with the Design and Commissions team to assist with the preparation of specialist kit and sample products, ordering materials and collecting stitcher feedback to assist with future production.
- Coordinate FCW’s tapestry finishing and making up service.
- Support the production manager to ensure that all ability and pay levels are appropriate to FCW’s stitcher population ensuring these are made and assigned with a view to developing prisoners’ skills and self-responsibility.
- With the Programmes team, co-facilitate production training for volunteers both online and in person.
- Assist with bi-annual stock counts involving staff, volunteers, prison leavers and prison staff to include finished items, work in progress and raw materials in all the prisons where FCW operates, as well as at FCW’s London office.
- Coordinate Fine Cell Work volunteers with their weekly tasks as provided by the production manager.
- First point of contact for phone calls to the office, assisting callers with enquiries and diverting calls to relevant members of staff.
- On occasion, visit cell groups in prison around the country to support volunteers and stitchers in FCW production.
- Assist with Fine Cell Work events as and when required.
- Ad hoc duties to support the work of the charity as required including back-up support to production with apprentices and volunteers in the Clothworkers Studio.

Fine Cell Work is a UK based rehabilitation charity and social enterprise which makes beautiful handmade products in British prisons. For 28 years we’ve been transforming the lives of people in prison and prison leavers, one stitch at a time. Our unique process boosts our stitcher’s self-worth, instils accountability, and fosters hope.
We support people in prison and prison leavers to finish their sentences with work skills, money earned and saved, and the self-belief to rebuild meaningful, independent, crime-free lives.
Set up in 1997 by Lady Anne Tree following years of lobbying the government to change prison rules about prisoners earning money from work done in their cells, Fine Cell Work operates in 38 British prisons engaging with over 600 people in prison in 2024. Our stitchers are supported by our skilled and valued volunteers who visit prison fortnightly to teach needlework.
By providing, paid, purposeful activity to prepare people in prison to successfully reintegrate into the community post-release, we are teaching key soft employment skills, supporting the development of self-discipline and self-belief, and working to improve prisoner well-being, all key in reducing recidivism.

Role Summary
Development Group generates philanthropic and sponsorship income to help us create a Natural History Museum for the future – investing in capital development, attaining vital acquisitions for the collection, transforming our galleries, developing innovative exhibitions and undertaking ground-breaking scientific research on issues that affect us all.
Reporting into the Head of Resources & Planning, this role provides the opportunity to join a Development operations team in driving forward the exciting, ambitious and transformational NHM150 campaign. You will have the opportunity to be innovative and proactive, as well as utilise your creativity, project management and organisational skills to oversee donor recognition and ensure we are providing a consistent and best in sector experience for our donors and partners.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Stewardship and supporter journey
- Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Head of Corporate Partnerships, lead the development of a structured, overarching stewardship programme that works across the Museum. Take a supporter journey approach and ensure the programme includes a creative and innovative range of benefits and recognition to foster well-managed, mutually beneficial and lasting relationships with funders.
- Coordinate stewardship efforts and work with colleagues to produce tailored stewardship plans.
- Provide strategic and day-to-day advice and guidance to staff on stewardship.
Funder recognition
- Work with the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships departments to ensure a cohesive approach to the funder benefits matrix and recognition and acknowledgement.
- Advise and lead on funder inclusion with event and event material including, speeches, invites and associated thanking moments
- Lead on the creation and implementation of a funder recognition strategy for each major project and giving mechanism, ensuring consistency with the Museum’sdeli Naming and Recognition Policy and including, but not limited to, funder boards and naming opportunities.
- Lead for Development on work with the Design, Comms, Marketing and Digital team to develop agreed frameworks and ‘lock-ups’ for the NHM’s brand and visual identity. Create agreed procedures to ensure sign-off by all parties which is effective and well-communicated.
Communications and reporting
- Support colleagues in researching, writing and producing high-quality impact reports for funders in line with Deeds of Gift, contracts and other agreements.
- Support the creation of the Museum’s Annual Review, Annual Report and similar impact reporting; ensuring appropriate funder recognition.
- Manage the annual Season’s Greetings cards creation and distribution
Other responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse group of Museum stakeholders, to ensure stewardship plans and activities are successfully coordinated and delivered.
- Responsible for oversight of Supporter Cards for key Development supporters, working with the Database team to create and distribute.
- Develop a strong knowledge of sector best practice through networking, benchmarking against comparable institutions, identifying and undertaking training and development opportunities, and where appropriate implement these best practices at the Museum.
- Record essential information accurately and appropriately, using Development Group systems and the Raiser’s Edge database. This includes tracking agreed and live negotiations for funder recognition and commitments on major projects.
What we’re looking for

- Significant experience in a fundraising / funder management role, or similar project management experience
- A strong working knowledge of the role of stewardship in the not-for-profit or cultural sectors, with the ability to initiate and manage stewardship activities.
- A proactive, positive and creative approach to stewardship, with the ability to recognise and create relationship-building and strengthening opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both face-to-face and through written material such as letters, reports and visual presentations.
- Attention to detail and ability to successfully negotiate with colleagues across the Museum to monitor and deliver donor recognition requirements.
- A team player, able to work flexibly and positively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload, set priorities, meet deadlines and work unsupervised.

About the Role
The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker will undertake a range of activities in support of Reprieve’s work on cases of individuals on death row or at risk of the death penalty across the MENA region, including casework and investigations into individual cases and the broader death penalty landscape, support to Reprieve clients, and support to partner organisations and lawyers in the MENA region and beyond. The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker is an integral member of the MENA Team, and will work closely with the Media, Campaigns and Digital, and UK and US Policy teams, and the Directors and Deputy Directors. You will share our commitment to fighting against racism and advancing racial justice, and understand our responsibility to do our work in a way that does not compound racist structures.
Background on MENA Death Penalty Work
Several countries in the MENA region consistently rank amongst the highest executing states in the world. Reprieve is one of few international organisations working on combatting the use of the death penalty in the region, working with partners primarily on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt, and monitoring the use of the death penalty across the wider region. The MENA team’s work is diverse and constantly evolving to shape, respond to, and anticipate changes in the domestic and regional death penalty landscape. Our strategy in any given jurisdiction is developed in collaboration with – and informed by – our partners and fellows. Direct casework on strategic cases is core to our work in all regions, and includes legal, political and advocacy strategies as appropriate. We look in particular to find and develop cases and narratives which have the potential to change the landscape and benefit as many individuals or classes of individuals as possible. We also undertake and assist with longer term thematic projects and engage with regional and international mechanisms and organs where it is strategic to do so.
This is a full-time position on a one-year fixed term contract, to cover parental leave, based on a minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Due to the global and sometimes urgent nature of Reprieve’s work, flexibility on working hours will sometimes be required.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to help diversify the environmental sector by scaling a Black-led nature organisation to be able to demonstrate leadership on a national scale and promote and serve the interests and needs of ethnically marginalized communities in accessing nature.

- Strengthen networks and community among POC-led nature organisations across the UK.
Our operating income for 2025-2026 is £230,000. Our ambition is to generate an income of over £1 million by 2027-2028, growing to a 15+ staff team.
How the COO will support our vision
The role of Chief Operating Officer is central to helping us achieve our ambitions, ensuring that Wild in the City has the resources, infrastructure and working environment to achieve its annual plans, long term aims and deliver high-quality programmes.
We are not expecting the COO to implement the key areas of operations alone, we will work together to prioritise and generate the resources to build a team to cover the functionality required for steady growth. We are also motivated to ensure that the role’s salary is reviewed to meet market expectations as the role grows, dependent on funding.
This role needs an exceptional candidate who enjoys making a role their own, who is motivated by turning strategy into impactful action and who finds fulfilment in supporting others to achieve.
The COO will ensure that;
- We secure ongoing, long term financial resources, creating stability and underpinning growth, and scaling into operations in multiple regions, nationally
- We grow our staffing to provide a steady infrastructure and achieve our strategic objectives, including creating operations, fundraising, communications and research teams, and increasing our field team.
- We retain our relational, open, authentic, personable, dynamic, collaborative, innovative culture as we grow.

- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including income generation, budgeting, and long-term planning

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across staff, volunteers, partners, and board members
- Emotional resilience, sound judgement, and a calm, authentic presence
- A genuine connection to our mission and values
