About This Role
As the Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will play a key role in managing and developing Smart Works’ relationships with corporate supporters. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Partnerships and Fundraising team to deliver an ambitious income target and provide outstanding experiences for our partners.
You will manage your own portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring each relationship delivers value, impact, and long-term engagement. Working alongside the wider team, you’ll also support the delivery of larger, strategic partnerships and take the lead on coordinating corporate volunteering initiatives — liaising with partners and internal teams to create meaningful and well-organised experiences.
In addition to managing existing relationships, you’ll play an active part in growing our corporate partnerships portfolio. This will include supporting new business development activity, researching opportunities within priority sectors, and managing inbound partnership queries and donations. You’ll also collaborate with the Philanthropy Lead to help deliver cultivation events that strengthen our network of high-value supporters.

Overview
Working with the Head of Fundraising, you will play a key role in securing income from corporate partners and major donors to support AVUK’s bold 10-year plan. These partnerships are central to our long-term strategy to transform the landscape of Auditory Verbal provision, ensuring that every family who wants their child to learn to listen and talk can access a publicly funded Auditory Verbal programme in their local area.
This role requires experience in relationship fundraising, ideally working with businesses and/or major donors, and a strong ability to build rapport and trust. You’ll be an effective communicator and collaborator, confident in supporting income generation activities that align and elevate AVUK’s goals.
With experience of securing five to six-figure gifts, you’ll use your commercial acumen to identify and nurture your pipeline and partnerships, contributing to our annual fundraising target of £1.5m and setting the foundations for growth to £2m+ in future years.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, diligent, and comfortable taking initiative. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where relationship-building and ownership of your work are key to driving income and impact. Corporate partnerships strategy
- With support and guidance from the Head of Fundraising, lead the development and delivery of AVUK’s corporate partnerships strategy in support of our overall fundraising goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities at a five and six figure value, unlocking new opportunities that contribute to a £130k partnerships budget this year.
Business development & income generation

About Us
The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees. We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.
The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of 20 committed staff, roadshows in different cities, an online shop and two workshops, one in the capital and one in Birmingham.
To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.
Duites and Responsibilities
This role will provide maternity cover for an initial period of 12 months, with the potential for a 1–2 month extension. It will focus on developing new corporate partnerships and managing relationships with our existing corporate supporters.The role holder will work closely with the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Retail to ensure a strategic approach to the development and management of relationships with our corporate partners, enabling us to maximise the potential from them.
As well as leading income generation, the post will develop current and new corporate partnerships, providing personalised stewarding journeys.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of securing income directly from corporates for charity, both winning and securing new partnerships as well as maintaining and developing existing supporters. They will be able to prioritise, manage pipelines, research, pitch and manage partnerships to increase their value.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Education Executive plays an important role in the facilitation and delivery of RLSS UK’s Education Strategy and will be a key contributor towards our organisation’s goal to ensure everyone can Enjoy Water Safely, Free From Drowning. The role supports the Education Manager with the implementation of educational initiatives throughout the whole of the UK and Ireland and works with both external partners and colleagues within RLSS UK to communicate our vital water safety messages to young people in an accessible, engaging and inclusive way. RLSS UK are leading experts in water safety and this role aims to grow both the number of children that receive our life-saving education but also looks to diversify the audience through adaptable resources and new approaches.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Education Manager and colleagues throughout the organisation to deliver the RLSS UK ‘Education Strategy’, ensuring that that more young people have access to quality water safety education
- Facilitate education pilots and new interventions that are informed by the ‘Education Strategy’
- Administer future developments of RLSS UK’s education packages, ensuring that they are impactful and inclusive
- Work closely with the Volunteering Team to extend the capability of the community to deliver water safety education, providing volunteers, partners, and members with the relevant information and resources, thus standardising the delivery of our education programme
- Communicate regularly with schools, colleges and other educational institutions, encouraging the growth and stewardship of our education workforce, so that RLSS UK is more visible in schools and youth settings across the UK and Ireland

The Role
