About IKWRO
IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse.
We work with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women. We offer services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English. IKWRO offers free advice, advocacy and counselling services and operates a refuge which provides safe accommodation and specialist support to single women at risk of “honour” based abuse, forced marriage and domestic abuse.
IKWRO also provides training for women and girls to help them understand their rights in the UK. In partnership with other organisations, we assist survivors of abuse with accessing English language classes and education, training and employment opportunities.
As well as supporting women and girls directly, we offer advice and training for professionals from the statutory and voluntary sectors, to better understand the needs of the women and girls we represent, the types of abuse they experience and to provide best practice prevention and support services.
We campaign to increase awareness and improve laws and policies to tackle all forms of “honour” based abuse and harmful practices including; forced marriage, child marriage, marital captivity, female genital mutilation, virginity testing and hymenoplasty, discrimination by sharia courts and to push for better laws and policies to protect women’s and girl’s rights.
Purpose of Job
The Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising and Marketing team and will be responsible for:
• Nurturing relationships with existing and prospective donors
• Sustaining and developing our group of individual and community-based supporters.
• Growing income, including regular giving, donations, appeals, legacy giving, community groups and other fundraising activities.
We are looking for a strong communicator with some experience of fundraising who is keen to develop their career in this area.
This post can be undertaken on a hybrid working basis with some days home-working and some days working in IKWRO’s offices.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Chief Executive, the post-holder will lead on all aspects of development, marketing and fundraising, and people/HR development; maintaining high level relationships with donors and prospective donors and maximising opportunities to secure new sources of income from individuals, companies and charitable trusts, as well as improving our internal comms.
We are looking for someone who has experience working in collaborative environments to meet organisational goals and build and manage relationships. They will demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop in order to surface and establish partnerships, lead funding bids, develop our people, and act as a key representative of the Centre to the outside world.

The Head of Finance will lead on budgeting, financial management and reporting and work closely with the Chief Executive to provide effective financial direction to the Treasurer and the Board of Trustees.

With prior experience of working with charities’ accounts as well as experience of Sage accounting system used at the BDA, you will manage the Finance team and provide excellent business service and support to circa 28 staff across the UK.

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a charity. This free life-saving service is provided 24/7 by helicopters and rapid response vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare reconciliation schedules for accruals and pre-payments; reconciling deferred income; undertaking balance reconciliations and cash-flow forecasting.
* Reconcile the financial ledgers and ensure all accounting records are accurate and up to date.
* Assist with monthly bank reconciliations.
* Reconcile data between Sage 200 and other sources of information.
* Prepare supporting schedules in preparation for the year-end audit so that a first draft of the annual accounts can be prepared and reviewed with the Financial Controller.
* Prepare P11D's and PAYE Settlement Agreements, ensuring that the correct expenses are recorded and making payments where necessary to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
* Work closely with Finance Executive, Finance Assistant, and Finance Manager.
* Assist in additional tasks given by the Financial Controller.
Knowledge and Skills:
* The post holder must be part qualified accountant.
* Be proficient in the use of financial software packages (ideally Sage 200), customer relationship management databases, and Office.
* The post holder must be particularly skilled in the use of Excel - Vlookups, pivot tables, formulae including conditional formatting, tables, what if analysis, cell formatting.
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Have excellent organisational and time management skills and be able to prioritise effectively.
* Have an analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
* Have a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in the work output.

About the role

The Volunteer Administration Executive will sit within the CoppaFeel! Education Team and will work closely with the Volunteer Community Executive and the Volunteer Community Manager. They will provide administrative support volunteer recruitment and onboarding; induction and training; support and supervision; and reward and recognition.
This is a remote-first role, which means you aren’t expected to come into the office. The only days you would be required to attend the office would be for our quarterly team meetings, quarterly department meetings and in person training. Established in 1997, Jigsaw4u provide a range of services for children, young people and families experiencing complex social and emotional difficulties in South West London. Jigsaw4u has experienced considerable growth and development over the past several years, and this new role has been identified by the Board of Trustees and Chief Executive Officer to support Jigsaw4u’s position and aspirations for the future.
As a member of our Senior Management Team (SMT), you will help to deliver and shape Jigsaw4u's vision and strategy. The role includes carrying out the assessment of capital and revenue grants; preparing and formatting assessment reports, drafting offer letters, processing claims and ensuring key information is captured within internal systems; connecting with applicants to arrange monitoring and evaluation meetings; and working together as part of a united team to provide administrative support across the Foundation - always delivering high levels of customer service.

What are we looking for?
We would love to hear from you if you have an understanding of grant application processes and governance, coupled with knowledge of how sport can be used for community benefit. You will also need experience of working with office administration systems, delivering effective administration support to a varied team, and communicating with colleagues and customers remotely.
We’re looking for a team player with a keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills who takes pride in delivering excellent customer and administrative service.

What can we offer you?
The salary band for this role is £24,000 - £27,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

Overview of the role
- After 50 years of southern-led impact at scale, BRAC is more determined than ever to create opportunities to realise human potential. - The Media Engagement Lead will play a leading role in designing and delivering BRAC’s media engagement plans across Europe. This is a pivotal time for BRAC as we begin to invest in relationship development for influence and partnerships across Europe, and this is a vital role in determining the success of this new chapter.
- The role will be based in London, a Global Media Hub, but will be tasked with supporting media engagement with publications across Europe, particularly in Germany and Scandinavia.
- The Lead will be the focal point for BRAC’s media engagement across Europe and contribute significantly to both securing new media relationships and making the most of existing ones.

In this exciting new role, you will identify, develop, promote and evaluate programmes and initiatives to attract and retain members.

Salary: £40,000- £44,000 FTE (pro-rata based on hours) depending on experience

The Organisation
The Chartered College of Teaching is a a charity and the professional body for teachers. We are working to empower a knowledgeable and respected teaching profession through membership and accreditation.

In 2020 we published reports ‘Education in Times of Crisis’ around the impact of lockdown which have since been cited in educational reports and academic papers; in 2021 we won the Memcom award for ‘Best magazine for a Professional Association or Membership Organisation’; in 2022 we celebrated the graduation of over 246 teachers from our Chartered Teacher and Chartered Teacher (Leadership) pathways. We are a growing and multi-skilled team of 30 people, supported by a Board with a significant track record of experience in a range of fields. Our business plan focuses on growing membership and Chartered programmes and providing meaningful professional learning opportunities for the teaching profession. This role will support us to deliver an excellent service to our members and those engaged with our CPD pathways, publications and research activity.
Requirements
We are looking to recruit a Head of Member Acquisition and Engagement on a part-time contract. This is an exciting new role that will play a key part in our continued growth and will make a real impact on the teaching profession; we are looking for someone who believes in our mission and the work we do.
Working closely with the Deputy Chief Executive, Associate Director: Partnerships and the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Head of Member Acquisition and Engagement will take a lead on activity related to attracting and retaining our individual teacher members, including developing, rolling out and evaluating recruitment and retention programmes, initiatives and campaigns for current and prospective members. The successful candidate will be confident using data to inform decision-making and monitor progress towards membership growth targets and have the ability to work well independently and within a team.

- Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager, planning recruitment campaigns and strategising content and resources for membership initiatives
- With the Associate Director: Partnerships, ensuring join-up between group membership sales and individual member sales
- Promoting and representing the Chartered College to potential members at events
- Working with the Membership Manager to ensure a seamless experience for members from their first interaction with us
- Recording, presenting, formatting and analysing data in a variety of ways to report to colleagues and stakeholders, including against KPIs.
- Performing other activities as and when required to support the wider team to achieve the charity’s goals.
Alongside your main areas of work, you will also participate in meetings and be encouraged to participate in CPD learning activities and training to maintain and develop your knowledge and skills.
You don’t need to have expertise in absolutely all areas, but we’re looking for someone who is motivated by our vision and truly passionate about membership growth and supporting teachers. Systems you would be using include Salesforce, DotDigital, Google Workspace, Zoom, Submittable and Slack.
Experience and skills:
- Experience in a sales or business development role (essential), with experience of membership or subscription sales highly desirable
- Experience working in the education sector (highly desirable)
- Experience of developing, delivering and evaluating sales initiatives and campaigns (essential)
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills (essential)
- Experience of Salesforce or other CRM systems (essential)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (desirable)
