Since its inception in 2006, Soccer Aid for UNICEF has raised more than £121 million, helping to protect every child’s right to play. 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Soccer Aid for UNICEF and the team has ambitious plans to mark this milestone, which this role will be pivotal in delivering.

The Senior Content Manager provides strategic oversight and comprehensive support to the Soccer Aid for UNICEF multi-functional delivery team. This role is critical in ensuring a cohesive brand and unified voice across all channels, delivering audience-centric content that aligns with the key objectives of increasing ticket sales, fundraising, and enhancing viewership. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and proactive creative leader who is passionate about creating impactful content that drives engagement and supports the overarching goals of the Soccer Aid for UNICEF campaign.

This is a homeworking or hybrid (Belfast BT15 3JL) role, however you will be required to regularly travel across the south of Northern Ireland to meet supporters and occasionally attend internal meetings and events at locations across the country, including our flagship offices in Belfast, London, Birmingham and Warrington. You must live within the NI South area or the surrounding areas. Costs will be reimbursed for travel for business purposes within NI South and outside this with prior approval.

About the job

Over the past decade Pembroke House’s activities in Walworth have grown considerably, with annual turnover rising from £200k to £1 million. Further growth is expected as a result of a new strategy anchored around five 10-year commitments to the neighbourhood, consolidation of our activities across two community buildings and continuing to build wide-ranging partnerships in Walworth.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled financial professional who can steward us through this crucial period of development.  You will be someone who combines a passion for our mission, a keen eye for detail and a flair for interpreting financial information and supporting non-specialists to make sound financial decisions. 

Days will be varied spanning everything from helping budget holders report to funders; preparing accurate financial reports and management accounts; to creating the budgets and frameworks for long-term financial planning. The rest of the core finance team comprises a Bookkeeper and a pro bono Payroll Officer based in Pembroke College, Cambridge. Other members of the team manage petty cash, look after the room hire business (including invoicing and credit control) and administer pensions. 

The trustee’s Finance and Risk Subcommittee formed two years ago and a new trustee position of Treasurer is currently being recruited. The Finance Manager will service and attend the subcommittee’s quarterly meetings and be the main contact point with the Treasurer between meetings.

As a new role there will be plenty of opportunity to mould finance operations across the organisation. Finance systems are currently in place, and have satisfied the auditor over the past few years, but there remains scope for improvement, including through automation and upskilling of the wider team.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Foster a culture of financial responsibility, in conjunction with the Leadership Team.
• Draft the audit file and schedules and assist the auditor with follow up questions and queries.
• Lead on the preparation of the charity's annual budget.
• Prepare fundraising budgets, financial claims and invoices for funders in line with (grant) agreements.
• Approve and act as signatory to all contracts for services issued and received.

Pembroke House is a centre for social action and residential community in Walworth, south-east London. 

We were founded in 1885, by students from Pembroke College, Cambridge, as one of the first settlement houses. Shocked by growing poverty and inequality, the pioneers of the settlement movement sought a new approach: taking up residence to live, work and solve problems alongside local communities. We continue to share a building with St Christopher’s church, which has its routes in the same student settlement.

Sense has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Philanthropy and Partnerships  team as our Trusts Officer. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, based between home and our offices in Kings Cross, London.

Sense has a strong track record in Trusts fundraising over many decades, with a talented, supportive fundraising team in place. We have six- figure and multi-year partnerships with leading UK grantmakers, and a portfolio of dedicated Trust supporters, but there is room to grow, and space to make your mark. 

The successful candidate will play an important part in delivering Sense’s strategy to reach 50,000 people with complex disabilities by 2026. Central to this strategy is securing the income needed to deliver and grow charitable services, covering children’s, arts, sports and capital projects, helping to bring forward the day when no-one is left of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential Trust and Foundation funders for priority projects
• Write funding applications, coordinating inputs and creating budgets as needed
• Work closely with operational and finance colleagues to maximise success
• Maintain accurate database records and monitor personal performance

Thanks to internal promotions, we are recruiting for two new officers to join our Philanthropy & Partnerships team. You'll be joining an experienced team, with an established group of mid -level and major donors, at the start of our new five-year strategy.

We’re looking for a strategic and motivated fundraiser to join our team as Philanthropy Officer, helping to grow income across trusts and foundations, major donors, and mid-level giving.

In this rewarding and varied role, you’ll use your excellent communication skills to create compelling proposals, develop engaging supporter journeys that bring donors closer to the cause and build meaningful supporter relationships that help bring moments of joy, comfort and hope to people across our ten hospitals.

You’ll be part of our friendly and ambitious Philanthropy & Partnerships team and will work closely with colleagues in corporate partnerships, with the opportunity to develop your understanding and skills across our high value giving streams. Whether you are organising a hospital tour, writing an appeal, or working with our grants team and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust colleagues to develop a new project proposal, you’ll play a key role in identifying and developing opportunities that match our donors' passions with the hospital’s priorities.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in fundraising, communications or relationship management, and strong writing skills. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Fundraiser to join our rewarding and growing team. This is an exciting role, which would suit someone looking to build and develop their relationship fundraising or broaden their sector experience in a major national charity.
From multi-year partnerships and supporters, right through to managing volunteers and raising awareness in our communities, the team you join is talented, fast-paced and on a mission to create a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. 

The successful candidate will be able to deliver first-class relationship and account management, maximising retention as well as driving opportunities to secure new income within Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire (from prospecting through to pitch development and delivery).

Our team have a wealth of experience and skills to support you, and being a team player is essential. Recruiting, managing, and appreciating the value of our supporters and volunteers is essential. You need to inspire and motivate them to develop lifelong support.
This is a homeworking role, and you will be required to regularly travel across Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire to meet supporters and occasionally attend internal meetings at locations across the country, including our flagship offices (London, Birmingham, Warrington and Belfast). You must reside in the UK and have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK.

About you

- Experience in relationship and community fundraising or ability to demonstrate transferrable skills.
- Good understanding of budgeting and financial management
- Experience in identifying and acquiring new business opportunities.
- Experience in delivering excellent supporter stewardship and/or customer care.
- Able to analyse data and information to make decisions.
- Proven track record in achieving financial and non-financial targets.
- Ability to work remotely and independently and travel across an extensive patch.

Bipolar is a severe mental health condition, characterised by extreme mood changes that range from manic highs to suicidal lows, affecting 2% of the UK population, and we are seeking a candidate who can work as part of our developing engagement in research, alongside our dedicated team of staff and volunteers in realising our ambition of making a far reaching and meaningful difference to the everyday lives of those impacted by Bipolar.

This role is 90% remote working. 

The Postdoctoral Research Manager will assist the Director of Research in running Bipolar UK’s Research Division:

• working with the charity and its multiple partner projects and collaborators to deliver on our current research commitments
• to develop the long-term sustainability of the Bipolar UK Research Division

This is an exciting role which will combine overseeing and managing existing and prospective research partnerships with research teams around the country and world, and taking part in the development of Bipolar UK-led research.

Current research partners include teams at UCL, Oxford, Cardiff and the GW4 Alliance, Swansea, King’s College London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Lancaster, Liverpool, together with international organisations such as The Global Bipolar Cohort and the International Society for Bipolar Disorders. Our aim at Bipolar UK is to integrate research into the charity in a way which combines more traditional elements of facilitating lived experience involvement alongside actively contributing to and directing research. We are also striving to increase awareness of bipolar and to campaign for more bipolar-specific research, addressing the ‘bipolar gap’ within research and services.

Bipolar UK is very much a user-driven organisation. Approximately one-third of our staff, including our Director of Research, have lived experience of bipolar themselves, while many more have lived experience through family or close friends. Although lived experience is not essential for this role, we especially welcome applications from those with lived experience of bipolar and will expect anyone who takes on this role to have insight into the needs and priorities of the bipolar community, and a commitment to undertaking research which focuses on bipolar.
