Single Homeless Project (SHP) and Islington Council are proud to introduce St. John’s Mansions - a brand-new, purpose-built accommodation service that will provide safe, high-quality housing for individuals experiencing homelessness and facing multiple exclusion. This innovative project is backed by the GLA’s Single Homelessness Accommodation Programme (SHAP) 2022–2025, and represents a bold step forward in tackling homelessness across North London. SHP are building a dynamic, compassionate, and forward-thinking team to bring this vision to life. 

St. John’s Mansions will offer 19 beautifully finished self-contained studio flats, designed to support residents in their journey from rough sleeping and emergency accommodation to independent living. With a stay of up to 24 months, residents will receive tailored, high-intensity support to help them build the skills and confidence needed to thrive independently. 

The service will operate 24/7, with a welcoming reception and dedicated staff & clients spaces to enable both structured interventions and spontaneous, meaningful engagement. SHP will be working not only within Islington but in partnership with five North London boroughs - Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Westminster. This is more than just housing – it is a bridge to a better future. In this role, you’ll work closely with adults living in our accommodation, building trusting relationships and supporting them to take positive steps towards independence. The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. We work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together we have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. We also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse. 

In July of this year the Home Office announced a £53m investment over the next four years to enable the Drive Project to roll out across England and Wales. To end domestic abuse, we must address the source of the problem - the perpetrator.  This funding will make a huge difference to our efforts to support survivors, by holding perpetrators to account, stopping them from causing further harm and giving them the chance to change. 

Reporting to the Drive Director we are looking for a Drive Deputy Director to contribute to the leadership and management of the team in addition to building and nurturing strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as individuals, corporate partners, public sector organisations, and charitable trusts.  Your remit will also include working collaboratively with the Head of Programmes and Managers, to develop a growth and business development strategy for each of our four core areas of work.

About the role

The Fundraising Lead (Corporate & Grants) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of income generation for Planet Patrol, including the planning and delivery of our fundraising strategy; with a focus on corporates and grants. You will secure new partnerships and sponsorships, and develop high-value, multi-year commitments that align with both Planet Patrol’s priorities and our funders objectives. Whilst this role is fixed term, we hope to secure enough funding to make the role permanent.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Relationship Building

• Meet and exceed the annual new funding target of £300k, whilst maintaining existing funding agreements.
• Secure sponsorship for at least three organisational priorities worth a minimum of £50k each.
• Write and submit innovative, engaging and impactful funding applications.
• Prospect new supporters and build long-term, high-value relationships.

Marketing & Communications

• Organising and delivering Companion workshops and training sessions to promote ongoing engagement with the Emmaus ethos, while identifying and supporting individual learning and development needs.

• To manage support relating to Companion’s needs regarding their daily living requirements, physical and mental health, safety and personal development.

Job Summary 

Working with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager, this role supports high-value corporate partnerships through engagement, stewardship, and identifying new opportunities aligned with the charity’s goals. • Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, delivering first class stewardship and identifying and maximising opportunities for wider engagement

Person Specification

Essential

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with varying audiences, including corporate partners
• A strong interest in mental health and in data and technology, and an understanding of corporate partnership opportunities for the sector

Desirable

• Experience of using Salesforce or equivalent CRM.

The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover the counties of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk & Suffolk.

You will report to the Relationship Fundraising Manager and support the Head of Relationship Fundraising & Volunteering to drive the continued growth of the charity’s fundraising income in your area. You will also be required to show excellent relationship-building skills to support community partnerships and volunteer groups, driving towards agreed targets.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract, or on return of the substantive postholder, to cover a period of maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy, finance, and reporting

· Responsibility for stewardship and relationship building with supporters within the East region.

· Identify and apply for ‘Charity of the Year’ partnerships with corporates in the region, account manage these relationships up to a value of £50,000 per annum and support the Partnership Development Team with national partnerships in your region.

· Support existing volunteer fundraisers to encourage continued loyalty to the charity and to maximise funds raised, in accordance with fundraising legislation and good practice.

· Recruit new fundraising supporters in line with strategy.

· Support the Relationship Fundraising Manager (RFM) and Head of Relationship Fundraising (HORF) in developing the Relationship Fundraising strategy for ARUK to increase income within this stream.

· Support and extend volunteer networks within geographical area in line with strategy.

· To ensure that fundraising activity is implemented and managed to deliver budgets, targets and income in line with strategy. To achieve this by supporting and facilitating the development of groups and volunteers across geographical area.

· Work across a diverse geographical area and within a geographically dispersed team, whilst managing own workload in a cost-effective and proactive way.

Supporter Management

· Provide excellent customer service to fundraising supporters, with prompt responses to enquiries, to acknowledge support and increase long-term loyalty.

· Provide high-quality account management to volunteer groups in geographical area.

· Effective management of volunteer relationships within geographical area.

· Support, motivate and develop local fundraising volunteers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of ARUK to enable them to represent the charity’s work effectively.

· In liaison with the Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Officers, provide high quality account management to corporate supporters within specified geographical area and/or of relevant value.

· Keep up to date with fundraising legislation and codes of practice to be able to provide relevant advice to fundraisers.

· Ensure volunteers and fundraisers have all necessary materials for fundraising initiatives.

Increasing Community Support within geographical area

· Use own initiative to extend volunteer networks, develop new groups and supporters, and respond to fundraising opportunities within geographical area, in line with strategy.

· Manage recruitment process of new ARUK volunteers in geographical area, providing relevant support and training.

· Liaise with local community organisations (predominantly golf clubs) – both previous and new potential supporters – to extend income and activity in line with strategy.

· Provide face-to-face talks and presentations to community organisations for recruitment/ cultivation purposes.

· Arrange appropriate volunteer representation at events in the community, spreading the charity’s reach cost-effectively.

· Identify, research and target prospective community organisations, in liaison with RFM.

· Identify, research and target prospective local corporates in liaison with RFM / HORF and ARUK’s Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Development Officers, in line with strategy.

· Accurately track and record contact with both community and corporate prospects for planning and reporting purposes.

Monitoring and Reporting

· Ensure that your activity is monitored and evaluated, clearly communicating progress to your Relationship Fundraising Manager.

· Manage relevant information on the charity’s database, keeping detailed, up-to-date records of activity and income.

What we are looking for:

· Experience in partnership fundraising and/or relationship building

· Experience and confidence in public-speaking, such as giving presentations and talking at events

· Knowledge of recruiting key volunteers and fundraising supporters

· Experience and a keen interest in building long term relationships with supporters

· Proven ability of providing excellent stewardship

· An ability to manage a busy and varied workload

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Excellent organisational skills

· Flexibility to work some unsocial hours and willingness to travel independently and Live within East Region

· Full driver’s license with access to own vehicle.

Remote - As part of our Remote ways of working you will be home based. You will only need to attend the office for specific requirements of the role and the business needs.

Roles that are classed as part of the Remote ways of working are able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Salary: Circa £33,500 per annum, plus benefits, car allowance and associated expenses (if applicable).

About the Role

As Community Support Lead: Development & Onboarding, you will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the Hosted Partner (HP) journey — from first contact to successful onboarding and integration into HOST’s global community. 

You’ll ensure that new partners are welcomed with clarity, confidence, and care, and that HOST’s systems, materials, and communications evolve to meet their changing needs. Working closely with the Partnerships and Delivery teams, you’ll turn insights from partners into practical improvements, ensuring that every process reflects HOST’s empowering, expert, and empathetic values. 

This is a role for someone who loves creating systems that work for people — combining process design, service delivery, and human connection to help change-makers get started and grow. 

Core Responsibilities

1. Hosted Partner Onboarding and Development 

• Lead the full onboarding process for new Hosted Partners (HPs), ensuring smooth, compliant, and welcoming transitions into HOST’s systems. 

• Conduct Welcome, Onboarding, and Set-up calls with HPs to explain key services, tools, and responsibilities. 

• Ensure all onboarding documentation, contracts, and systems are completed accurately. 

• Collaborate with the Finance and Legal teams to ensure hosted partners meet compliance requirements before activation. 

• Track onboarding milestones and ensure timely transitions from application to full hosting. 

2. Hosted Partner Journey Development 

• Lead the design, development, and improvement of the Hosted Partner Journey materials and forms — from initial enquiry through onboarding, active hosting, and renewal. 

• Map and refine partner touchpoints, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility across services. 

• Work with the Communications Team to ensure all HP-facing materials and guides reflect HOST’s tone and values. 

• Collaborate with the Product Manager (HOSTHub Lead) to digitise, automate, and improve onboarding workflows. 

3. Partner Communication and Engagement 

• Maintain consistent, high-quality communication with partners throughout the onboarding and early development process. 

• Ensure partners have access to the right guidance, templates, and training resources. 

• Gather feedback from new HPs to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for service improvement. 

• Contribute to the Project Hosting Bulletin and updates for new HPs. 

4. Documentation, SOPs, and Training 

• Develop and maintain clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for onboarding and HP journey management. 

• Support internal training for Community Support Leads and relevant teams on new onboarding tools, systems, and processes. 

• Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and capacity building within the Partnerships Circle. 

5. Risk Identification and Escalation 

• Conduct initial screening and due diligence checks for new Hosted Partners, identifying potential operational, reputational, or compliance risks. 

• Escalate risk concerns to the Community Support Manager or relevant leads for review and mitigation 

• Maintain accurate documentation of risk assessments and onboarding decisions. 

6. Collaboration and Service Improvement 

• Work with the Training Lead to integrate onboarding insights into HealthChecks and workshops for new HPs. 

• Collaborate with the Finance, Legal, and Tech teams to align onboarding workflows and systems. 

• Support cross-team projects to improve the efficiency and consistency of the Hosted Partner experience. 

7. Growth and Learning Areas (Development Focus) 

• Develop leadership in onboarding design and service improvement. 

• Contribute to testing and adoption of HOSTHub features that enhance the HP journey. 

• Support the Partnerships Circle in developing standardised partner support materials. 

Required Experience 

• 3 years experience in customer services, account management or partner management — ideally within a not-for-profit, social enterprise, or global NGO environment. 

• Proven experience designing and delivering onboarding, training, or service delivery processes for clients or partners. 

• Strong background in relationship management, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with partners from diverse cultural and professional contexts. 

• 2+ years’ experience using and maintaining digital systems (project management and CRM platforms such as ClickUp and Zendesk) to manage workflows or client data. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and empathetically. 

• Demonstrated ability to improve or document processes — developing SOPs, templates, or resources that strengthen service quality and consistency. 

• Experience coordinating across teams (Finance, Legal, Tech, or Communications) to deliver high-quality partner or client experiences. 

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding cycles simultaneously. 

• Experience handling compliance checks, screening, or due diligence processes is highly desirable. 

• Comfortable working in a remote-first, international team, with strong self-management, accountability, and collaboration skills.
