The Role
Reporting to the Head of Major Gifts and Partnerships, you will develop and deliver the major donor strategy.

You will source, research and approach HNWIs throughout the catchment area and in the city or those who may have a connection to the area.

Research, produce and implement an influencer programme that drives the performance of the income generating team.

Be responsible for managing planning and managing HNW events in line with the Major Gifts strategy.

Provide the high quality account management and stewardship, enhancing mutual benefits, maximising income generating opportunities and creating enduring partnerships

Research, develop and introduce new income generating products for HNWI's whilst driving the performance of existing products. Eg, The Patrons Circle, The Big Ball etc.

There is no line management responsibility.

The Candidate
Ability to manage high profile people and accounts and act with due diligence and a high degree of professionalism.

Proven ability to research and analyse potential new VIPs and donors and plan and implement acquisition strategies.

Ability and experience to plan a broad range of complex activities and programmes with significant attention to detail.

Have access to own transport to travel to events, meetings, etc

The AI Opportunity Fund:

The AI Opportunity Fund, led by the Centre for Public Impact with support from Google . org, is currently a  €16 million initiative aimed at empowering underserved workers across Europe with essential AI skills. The programme has selected 73 organisations from hundreds of applications to provide tailored AI training to at least 20,000 workers across 24 European countries. These organisations focus on diverse communities, including rural job seekers, underemployed women, and public sector workers, aiming to bridge the digital divide and promote economic resilience. The initiative underscores AI's potential to drive social mobility and equitable growth across the continent. We are also hoping to scale our work in this area in the future. 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Grants Programme Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the AI Opportunity Fund. This role is responsible for the operational leadership of the programme, ensuring that it is planned and executed effectively on time, on budget and within scope. A key focus of the role is ensuring that the grant-giving component of the programme is designed and stewarded diligently.

This is a middle management role that is primarily operational with some elements of strategic leadership. It requires strong project management skills, good grant-making practice and the ability to manage relationships with diverse partners.  We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with considerable scope and complexity; and who embraces the challenges and opportunities of a startup environment where learning, adaptability, and building the plane as we fly it are central!

Responsibilities and Competencies:

Programme Development and Delivery

• Lead on shaping the design and execution of the AI Opportunity Fund utilising appropriate project management frameworks.

• Coordinate high quality project deliverables including implementing an AI training programme at scale and convening peer learning and knowledge sharing workshops. 

• Collaborate closely with Finance and Senior Leadership to manage and monitor the programme budget and expenditure.

• Identify, escalate and contribute to addressing programmatic risks to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and donor requirements.

Grant Making and Management

• Lead the design and implementation of the AI Opportunity Fund grant making function, embedding good grant making practice whilst adhering to donor expectations. 

• Develop and implement robust grant-making systems, processes and structures to successfully execute each stage of the grant lifecycle. 

• Provide excellent stewardship of a large portfolio of grants, providing technical support and effectively managing escalated issues to ensure the programme achieves its strategic objectives.

• Build the capacity of the wider AI Opportunity Fund team in grant making skills and capabilities. 

• Manage and coach the Grants Officer, ensuring they deliver their grants administration responsibilities effectively. 

Partnerships and Stakeholder Management

• Provide excellent donor stewardship of Google . org, securing their confidence in CPIE as a thought and delivery partner. 

• Cultivate, maintain and oversee strong relationships with wider stakeholders on the programme including service providers and evaluation partners.

• Support senior leadership to position the programme strategically internally and externally in order to advance CPIE’s reputation and offer. 

Monitoring, Evaluation  and Learning

• Ensure that CPIE prepares and submits accurate, timely and high quality programme and grant reports to Google, CPI’s Board and other key audiences.

• Collaborate closely with the Communications Team, Senior Leadership and external providers to ensure robust impact measurement of the AI Opportunity Fund.

• Identify and leverage opportunities to share insights from the AI Opportunity Fund to a range of stakeholders including broader CPI teams, wider civil society and current and potential clients.

• Embed a culture of learning and reflexivity in the team, utilising insights from the Programme to shape project management in an iterative way. 

 DEIB & Collaborative Working

• Actively contribute to a diverse, equitable, inclusive and belonging (DEIB) culture by embracing different perspectives and fostering an environment of respect.

• Dedicate time to continuous learning about DEIB and how it informs our mission, and commit to disrupting white supremacy in the workplace.

• Demonstrate empathy for government and the communities they serve to advance DEIB within systems that government influences

• Embed DEIB within the AI Opportunity Fund design approach and team.

Essential

• Proven experience of identifying, assessing, prioritising, and managing risks when executing programmes.

• Proven experience of building productive relationships with external parties, including in convening stakeholders for  learning or wider objectives.

• Intercultural competence, experience of managing high performing teams. and proven commitment to advancing DEIB.

Desirable

• A recognised project management qualification e.g. PRINCE2, Agile Certifications etc.

• Experience of successfully delivering complex contracts for high value donors/clients e.g. third party grant programmes.

• Experience or understanding of AI or related technologies.

Purpose of Role

As Senior Fundraising Campaigns Project Manager you will take a key role in the planning and delivery of Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns, developing project management best practices, managing project managers, and ensure the overarching planning, management and coordination of projects. The majority of projects will be related to fundraising activity but on occasion could also include other projects for our funding team, partnerships team and production team. The role will work with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure planning processes, project governance and reporting is developed and embedded into all fundraising activity, primarily as it relates to Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns. 

Key responsibilities:

· Work with the Head of Campaign Strategy and Planning to track a portfolio of projects, taking on the project management responsibility for select projects, primarily Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns (managing multiple projects at a time) 

· Develop project management best practice, evolving methods as needs arise. Ensure practices are followed across the project management team 

· Manage projects across a full project lifecycle, including project briefing, scoping, set up, governance, planning, task management, communication, coordination and tracking and reporting 

· Lead key strategic projects, including for large fundraising campaigns 

· Work with fundraising strategists to brief delivery team members and manage the delivery of fundraising activity that is executed by delivery team members spanning fundraising, PR, content production, finance, technology and data

We are looking for an experienced Celebrity and PR Manager to join our Strategic Communications and Content Unit. This is an exciting new role within the organisation’s Media and External Relations Team, bringing management of celebrity and influencer work in-house for the first time. The post-holder will lead the strategic development and management of high-profile relationships — including celebrities, influencers, and our Royal Patron — to raise the charity’s profile, amplify our fundraising and influencing campaigns, and drive greater awareness of our work.
 
This role will identify and nurture influential ambassadors who align with our values, creating meaningful partnerships that inspire action through compelling storytelling and coordinated PR activity.
 
The postholder will work closely with internal teams, giving expert guidance to ensure celebrity activity is strategic, aligned, and effectively integrated across the organisation. They will also develop, deliver and evaluate celeb-led PR strategies to support the organisation’s priority objectives, working with entertainment, showbiz and Royal journalists to secure high-level media coverage that contributes to our overall brand awareness.

This role is central to creating an evidence-based culture and embedding evaluation so that our work benefits the communities we work with. You will be responsible for delivering the monitoring, evaluation, and learning of our services and partnerships, utilising continual learning to improve our services.

Working across all High Trees services and our partnerships, you will need to be confident across a range of approaches to monitoring and evaluation and be able to assess and determine appropriate methods, dependent on context. You will be proficient in collecting and analysing quantitative and qualitative data and have experience in developing impact frameworks, including theory of change, outcomes, and indicators. As the Evaluation and Impact Lead, you will have oversight of monitoring systems and processes ensuring that impact data collected is to a high standard across the organisation and our partnerships.

Collaboration with colleagues is an essential part of this role and you will enjoy working with others and be a valued partner, peer and colleague. Supporting the Head of Community Research and Impact, you will actively contribute to ensuring our impact plan is effectively embedded within key strategic areas. You will need to be highly responsive to the needs of colleagues, partners and funders, and be able to provide practical solutions for a range of situations.

You will also be an outstanding communicator: experienced in facilitation, an engaging presenter, and a compelling writer, able to frame and share our impact with a range of audiences. You will have the ability to see the bigger picture, while at the same time being on top of the detail.

Sitting within the organisation’s Fundraising and Communications directorate, you’ll have overall responsibility for the department’s database and insight function – line managing two people (aDatabase Officer and a Database Assistant. 
In this integral role, you’ll be working with your team to maintain an accurate, consistent and reliable dataset covering all areas of fundraising and engagement on our CRM – Raiser’s Edge. You’ll be responsible for making sure data is stored safely and compliantly, and that good data hygiene rules are in place. You’ll also be supporting and upskilling the Fundraising and Communications department to use the database properly, empowering them to get the information they need.

The Camden Short Breaks Team, as part of the Children, Young People, Families and Engagement service at Centre 404, delivers person-centred homebased and community-based outreach support for children and young people with a learning disability.

Centre 404 is seeking a dynamic and organised Short Breaks and Family Engagement Manager to lead the development and delivery of engaging activities, workshops, and support services for children and young people with disabilities and their families. Based in North London, this role involves coordinating short breaks and family engagement activities across boroughs including Islington, Camden, Tower Hamlets, Haringey, and Enfield, in line with local authority contracts and community needs.

 Responsibilities will include:

•  ·Planning and delivering workshops, forums, well-being sessions and social events for families
• · Developing outreach programmes to engage family carers
• · Supervising volunteers
• · Using creative and tech skills to promote activities and monitor success
• · Building strong relationships with families, local services and professionals
• · Managing referrals and support plans for children and young people
• · Overseeing a team including supervisions, appraisals and team meetings
