The successful candidate will be an innovative, driven and forward-thinking individual with a proven track record of influencing and advising landowners, land managers and wider stakeholders. Job purpose:
To develop and deliver a strategic approach to increasing the land area committed to large-scale rewilding initiatives which deliver nature’s recovery alongside thriving local communities. The focus will be on engaging, inspiring and empowering others to adopt and apply rewilding principles, models and approaches.
Main responsibilities:
In collaboration with senior staff and the Rewilding Manager you will be responsible for leading and project managing the development and delivery of a plan to expand landscape scale rewilding across Britain, including:

Providing support and advice to targeted existing larger scale rewilding initiatives.

Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders — including landowners and managers - in key potential rewilding landscapes and influencing them to integrate rewilding into their management plans.

Researching the potential for rewilding — including its opportunities, cost and benefits and financial viability - in key areas and presenting this in a compelling way.

Inspiring, influencing and supporting new initiatives and partnerships focused on upscaling rewilding across larger landscapes and a diverse range of ownership and management types — community-led and multi-stakeholder partnerships, private, public, corporate and NGO landowners, commoners, crofters etc.

Working with the Rewilding Manager to ensure that our annual Challenge Fund award acts to catalyse and enable the development of large-scale 'exemplar' rewilding initiatives.

Liaising with the Rewilding Manager to encourage new initiatives to join and engage in the Rewilding Network.

Representing Rewilding Britain to external stakeholders on various events, platforms and network groups.

Delivering effective systems and processes for tracking, monitoring and reporting on progress.

Working closely with the Rewilding Director and Rewilding Manager to ensure we best target resources.
Skills, experience and behaviours:

Experience

At least eight years’ professional experience in a relevant field, e.g. conservation and/or land management/agency.

Demonstrable experience in influencing change, network building and managing strategic partnerships and relations at a senior level.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits
This is a full-time role at 35 hours per week, but we're open to applications from those looking to work 28 hours or more per week.
The salary is £40k - £48k per annum (depending on relevant experience).
There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.
Rewilding Britain employees benefit from 25 days annual leave per year (pro rata for part time roles), rising to 30 days over five years. A generous employer-matched pension scheme is also available.
We are a virtual team who work from home and/or co-working spaces. We'll support you to achieve a suitable virtual working environment. Some meetings are held face to face across Britain, so a willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays is desirable.

The Role
The Programme Funding Manager provides cross-team support to strengthen the organisation’s funding and budget management functions and ensure the successful delivery of GGF’s grantmaking and other programmatic activities. This includes collaborating with multiple teams within GGF UK and GGF US including the Programmes, Grants Management, Finance and Philanthropic Partnerships teams, to design and implement systems, processes and improvements to ensure high quality budget management and high standards of donor and regulatory compliance across all funded activity.
The role is responsible for the budget management of all GGF UK-funded programmatic activities, working with Programmes colleagues, Advisory Board representatives, donor relationship managers, Finance staff and others to ensure funds are spent appropriately in line with project plans and donor obligations.
The candidate profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have substantial experience in a similar capacity within charitable, environmental, development, social justice, feminist, gender, or human rights organisations, particularly in an international setting. They will be adept at enhancing collaboration across multiple functional teams, including those operating internationally, to ensure effective and compliant funding and budget management, especially with restricted income. The candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in designing, managing, and refining systems and processes for better budget management and donor compliance in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Their experience should include managing large, multi-year programmatic budgets exceeding $5 million and ensuring adherence to donor agreements and regulatory requirements, such as those of the Charity Commission.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and delivery of a 3-year train the trainer pilot programme in the chosen pilot locations in England or Scotland.
The pilot will train and equip local health care professionals, health promotion workers and local community workers with the knowledge and resources to promote breast awareness, breast screening and risk reduction messages in their own communities.

Here at Action For Humanity (AFH), we are looking for an Advocacy & Policy Manager to join us. You will join us on a full-time basis and in return you will receive a competitive annual salary of £40,000 to £45,000. This role is remote but based in London.
AFH is an NGO that provides aid and assistance to people affected by natural and man-made disasters. Our vision is a world of crises-resilient communities. AFH has taken a leadership role on advocacy for the ongoing conflict in Gaza and has a long history of being a thought leader on the humanitarian crisis in Syria. In order to help achieve this goal, AFH is recruiting an Advocacy & Policy Manager, where the successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Communications, manage and strengthen AFH’s advocacy campaigns, and develop and build networks to support our advocacy efforts. The Advocacy & Policy Manager will also be the focal point between the organisation and policymakers, in the UK and beyond.
The Advocacy & Policy Manager will advocate the humanitarian needs stemming from the crises in Gaza, Syria, Yemen and other contexts in which the organisation works. They will convey the voice from the ground, to various external audiences, and will build a presence there to promote the organisation’s work, which is rapidly evolving and is entering newer phases.
Your accountabilities as our Advocacy & Policy Manager will include the following:
Building external relations
- Lead on creating and executing an Advocacy strategy and relationship-building plan to ensure AFH is well connected and respected amongst key stakeholders including politicians, policy makers, governing bodies, other NGOs, etc. Regularly seek new opportunities to enhance external relations.
- Represent AFH in advocacy meetings, humanitarian coordination and other forums, conferences, events, and working groups, leading as many as possible.
- Build and maintain AFH’s relationships with influential people and authorities, including politicians and Governing bodies. Facilitate supporting regular and meaningful engagement with them.
- Build and maintain relationships with regional advocacy groups in and around Palestine, Syria, Yemen and other contexts.
- Position AFH as influential in public debates on Palestine, Syria, Yemen and other countries where AFH works, making AFH a resource for journalists and other key stakeholders covering related issues.
- Keep abreast of regional advocacy groups in and around Palestine, Syria, Yemen and other contexts.
Supporting internal stakeholders
- Guide and advise AFH’s head and field offices on advocacy issues and trends.
- Support our field offices with Advocacy capacity building and enhancing business development, partnerships, and institutional funding.
- Support the head office with enhancing business development, partnerships, and institutional funding, through targeted external stakeholder engagement and improving the technical branding of Action For Humanity in the eyes of potential partner institutions.
- Identify advocacy opportunities by working with the wider Communications and Marketing departments in the writing, editing, commissioning and disseminating of press-releases, op-eds, statements etc., to secure coverage of the organisation’s work across the media spectrum.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create interesting and engaging multimedia content to ensure the organisation’s marketing and brand strategies incorporates our advocacy position.
- Provide analysis to the CEO, Director of Communications and other stakeholders, including inputs and talking points for meetings, as required.
- Promote a principled approach to advocacy, policy and external relations among relevant internal stakeholders, and ensure that external messaging is evidence-based and driven by field realities.
General
- Closely monitor the evolving humanitarian and political context in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, particularly where AFH currently operates, and disseminate written and verbal updates and analysis in a timely manner to internal and external stakeholders.
- Produce high quality public and private policy and advocacy materials including letters, briefing notes, position papers, and advocacy reports.
- Build up AFH’s advocacy work in relation to domestic programmes.
- Promote the advocacy positions of the Syria Relief brand as well as the Action For Humanity brand.
What we are looking for in our Advocacy & Policy Manager:
Education
- Degree (or equivalent) in relevant field i.e., International Development, International Relations, Public Relations, Economics, Politics.
- Evidence of sector-specific continuous professional development.
Experience
- Strong experience and track record in an advocacy or similar role.
- Experience in building strong relations and networking with key staff within various UN agencies, especially I/NGO, Forums, UN, OCHA meetings and with local ones.
- Collaborating in multi-national organisational problem solving, operations in complex organisations.
- Active participation with I/NGO Forums desirable.
- Understanding of UK political and media landscape.

About the Role
The Open Government Partnership (OGP) Support Unit (SU) seeks an experienced accounting professional with proven track record in the non-profit sector to provide finance and accounting services to support the Finance team. Our Little Stars project for 0–12-year-olds has been established for over 5 years supporting younger members and their families with their diagnosis and beyond. We also have a growing Teen membership known as FIRE (Friendship, Independence, Resilience, Equality) Working alongside our multi skilled, established team, you will be supporting members across all age groups and building on the great foundations already in place.
We are looking for an Early Intervention Project Worker who can cover the South of England, primarily you will be home based, supporting members through phone calls and using online platforms. You will be required to attend clinics, events and meet members one to one where necessary within your allocated area and occasionally across wider areas and nationally.
Purpose of the role

To deliver Shine's Little Stars (funded by The National Lottery Community Fund) project for 0–12-year-olds, supporting early years and younger members with their families, their diagnosis and beyond across the Southern Region. Funded by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and managed by the Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET), the Global Health Workforce Programme (GHWP) aims to develop the health workforce (HWF) in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria and Somaliland supporting them to build stronger, more resilient health systems for post-pandemic recovery and to make progress towards UHC.
Grants for UK-LMIC and cross-LMIC health partnerships will be awarded to respond to national HWF priorities identified through a scoping assessment carried out by THET with DHSC, FCDO, national Governments and stakeholders (such as local World Health Organisation offices). These grants will run until December 2025.
With a strong focus on building local ownership and sustainability, these partnerships will contribute to the following programmatic outcomes:
1. Partnerships contributing towards improved health workforce leadership capacity aligned with health workforce strategies, that will support reduction in gender inequalities.
2. Partnerships aligning with and contributing towards retention and wellbeing strategies.
3. Improved number and quality of training opportunities for health workers.
4. Co-developed and documented learning on health workforce interventions shared with key national and international stakeholders.
THET will award 28-36 strategic grants of £100,000 – £350,000 that feed into the country scoping priorities and outputs outlined above. The grants will broadly be split across the six countries; however, the exact split is dependent on the number and quality of applications received and broader priorities.
20-28 smaller grants of up to £50,000 will also be available for projects that tackle specific areas such as innovation, rural health facilities, diaspora engagement, leadership opportunities for women and protected groups, and the climate crisis.
Grants will be available to UK-LMIC health partnerships and LMIC-LMIC health partnerships. There are no institutional eligibility criteria as long as ODA rules are followed, so grants can be awarded to healthcare providers, royal colleges, universities, professional associations, NGOs, alliances, diaspora networks etc, but not to Ministry of Health departments.
This document serves as a Terms of Reference for the type of work the THET Administrative Support should expect to carry out as part of this.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee consultants’ invoicing and payments process and staff expense claims
· Prompt consultants to send invoices at the end of the month
· Review receipts and time claimed against contract and allowable expenses, file documents and send to Programme Manager for approval
· Monitor consultants’ time and expenses in trackers
· Review expense claims from THET staff related to GHWP, file documents and send to Programme Manager for approval
· Follow up with Finance team regarding payments
2. Oversee the National Oversight Mechanism invoicing and payments process
· Prompt in-country Admin Assistants to send invoices to NOM upon completion of activities, and follow up if necessary
· Admin Assistants will check receipts and time claimed against honoraria agreements and allowable expenses and send to Programme Manager for approval, cc’ing Admin Support
· Monitor payments in tracker
· Follow up with Finance team regarding payments
3. Provide support to recruitment/contracting process
· Support with developing/adapting recruitment documents (application log, creating folders in Sharepoint)
· Support with drafting contracts based on information provided by Programme Manager/Coordinator
4. Provide support to reporting process
· Support with development of templates and updating basic information in the report
· Proofread and format reports before finalisation and submission by the Programme Manager
5. Support the Programmes Manager and Programmes Coordinator
· Provide ad hoc administrative and logistical support to the team as required
· Support with filing documents in Sharepoint
· Support with drafting briefings
· Support with setting up meetings and comprehensive note-taking

We are recruiting four Workforce Leads to support hands-on recruitment, attraction and the onboarding and training of IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders across the country. These will be dedicated, regional roles where you will support the scale up of the IPS workforce in your designated region.
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
The Workforce Lead will provide specialist support to services embarking on recruitment campaigns, monitor their effectiveness and share learning. They will also provide hands-on support for recruitment efforts and training. This will vary according to the service need, but could include headhunting, sifting CVs, preparing for interviews, shortlisting and training.
The opportunity
The Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the IPS Workforce within their designated regions. They will support the scale up of the IPS workforce by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. The Workforce Leads will work closely with IPS Grow Regional Managers, local and national stakeholders, including NHS services, to recruit the IPS workforce needed to achieve high levels of employment outcomes for IPS clients.
Responsibilities
The key requirements of the role are:
Recruitment and Onboarding:

Lead the recruitment process for IPS Employment Specialists and Team Leaders in assigned regions.

Collaborate with local services to identify staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.

Support services by conducting interviews, shortlisting, and making hiring recommendations.

Identify where IPS services can coordinate, combine recruitment efforts and facilitate links to ensure a joined-up approach.

Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver high-fidelity IPS services.
Training and Development:

Deliver comprehensive training programs for new IPS Employment Specialists.

Provide ongoing support and mentorship to new hires during their first year.

Identify and address training needs, offering additional resources and workshops as necessary.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback.

Enrol IPS workforce members in e-learning training programmes and the accredited qualification.
Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national stakeholders, including IPS services, ICBs leads and NHS Regional Leads.

Support with workforce planning with services.

Attend and contribute to regional meetings, sharing insights and updates on workforce development initiatives.
Quality Assurance and Reporting:

Ensure that recruitment, onboarding, and training processes align with IPS Grow's quality assurance standards.

Collect and analyse data related to workforce development activities, providing regular reports to the Workforce Manager.

Identify challenges and propose solutions to improve recruitment and training outcomes.
Communication and Collaboration:

Work closely with the Regional Managers and Regional Leads to ensure joined up and timely support for services in the region.

Work closely with the Workforce Manager and other Workforce Leads to share best practices and coordinate efforts across regions.

Contribute to internal and external communications, including newsletters, reports, and presentations.

·Recruitment Expertise. Proven experience of recruitment within the healthcare system or substantial involvement in healthcare-related recruitment is essential. This includes interviewing, evaluating candidates and making hiring recommendations.
·Training and Development Expertise. Experience in delivering training programs and workshops, with a focus on adult learning principles and effective onboarding practices.
