The Role
As our Gifts in Wills Manager, reporting to the Head of Fundraising and working closely with colleagues from across the charity, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering all aspects of the legacy strategy, including pipeline development, supporter acquisition and stewardship.
You will develop and use insights to enhance the supporter experience, build relationships with solicitors and Will writing companies to promote the charity’s legacy offer and embed a Gifts in Wills culture across all stakeholders to ensure growth plans within this important income stream are achieved.
Specifically, you will:
Supporter Experience
- Develop and, with the support of colleagues, deliver exceptional customer journeys and on-going stewardship for Gifts in Wills prospects, enquirers and pledgers including written and verbal communications.
Data and Insight
- Ensure relevant details, interactions and preferences for all prospects, enquirers and pledgers are recorded accurately on the charity’s CRM resource.
- Work with colleagues to monitor levels of affinity and engagement amongst prospects, enquirers and pledgers, using insights to improve the Gifts in Wills supporter experience.
Gifts in Wills Proposition
- Work with colleagues in the Marketing Team to develop a Gifts in Wills proposition and marketing plans to acquire new supporters and build the legacy pipeline.
Culture
- Champion Gifts in Wills across the charity, ensuring all colleagues and stakeholders are aware of the importance of legacies and are comfortable communicating with supporters about this way of giving.
Management and Legacy Administration
- Lead the Yorkshire Cancer Research Legacy Steering Group (marketing, administration, and fundraising) to review performance and develop operational plans to deliver the strategy.
- Work with the Legacy Administrator to monitor and progress legacy gift notifications, establishing working relationships with professional executors, next of kin and lay executors as required.
About You

The Role
We are looking for a Service Manager for our Liaison and Diversion Service. Covering both Durham and Cleveland Constabulary areas, the service works collaboratively with Liaison & Diversion mental and physical health practitioners, and other partners, to act as a point of referral and offer assertive follow-up for men, women, and young people identified as vulnerable on arrest.
This covers a range of factors including their physical or mental health, because they use drugs and alcohol or because they are homeless. The aim of the service is to ensure they are supported to engage with a range of community and support agencies to meet their needs and reduce their contact with the criminal justice system.
The role has additional responsibilities for the Cleveland Dependency and Recovery, and Durham Footsteps, services that support people on Probation. The Client Services Manager will lead a team of Advisers and client-facing staff to deliver high-quality employment support services to refugees in Manchester.
Key responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage and support a team of Advisers and client-facing staff through supervision, coaching, recruitment, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Service Delivery Oversight: Ensure high-quality, client-focused employment support services, oversee the full client journey, maintain operational systems, and drive continuous service improvement.

About You

You will have a solid background in project or programme management (planning, developing, coordinating and reviewing), adapting services to meet funder and client needs, and using data to monitor KPIs and produce insightful reports. You will be confident building partnerships with external stakeholders and using data to drive service improvements.
You will understand safeguarding in client-facing services and can support staff in identifying and escalating concerns. You also bring insight into the challenges faced by displaced communities, ideally through Lived Experience of seeking sanctuary in the UK.
Experience working with local authorities, DWP/Jobcentre Plus, or training providers; familiarity with CRM systems; and a track record of contributing to service innovation are desirable criteria.

Job title: ICTMM Events Manager
Reports to: CEO

Job summary
The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a charity that supports members who work in, or are interested in, tropical medicine and global health.
In September 2028 it is hosting the International Congress for Tropical Medicine and Malaria (ICTMM) on behalf of the International Federation for Tropical Medicine (IFTM), in Liverpool, UK.
ICTMM 2028 expects to receive over 1,500 attendees, hopefully with over 40% coming from outside of Europe. It is an educational meeting with a high proportion of the content driven by abstracts. The event is being delivered by RSTMH with the support of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO).
The ICTMM Events Manager has responsibility for coordinating the development and delivery of ICTMM 2028 at RSTMH, working with the RSTMH team, the PCO, the event venue ACC Liverpool, IFTM, and other suppliers. The individual would be based at RSTMH where the role would start on a part-time basis and move to be full-time 17 months before the event.
The role requires an able self-starter who understand the logistics and considerations of running a scientific, abstract-driven event of 1,500+ attendees, of working with a PCO and of educational events attended by a high number of international guests. There will be some travel to Liverpool and the role would require some overnight stays there before and during the event.
The candidate needs to have excellent event management and project management skills, communication and relationship building skills, and to be organised and flexible with a great attention to detail. They should be as comfortable developing an events strategy, as answering queries about tickets sales, and negotiating sponsorship. Alongside delivering the ICTMM meeting there are opportunities for partners to deliver events at the same venue, which are also the responsibility of the events manager.
The role will start as one day per week and then move to be full time as we approach the event. The current expected timings are
- Up until 31 March 2026 – 7 hours/1 day per week
- 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 – 21 hours/3 days per week
- 1 April 2027 to 30 September 2028 – 35 hours/ 5 days per week
Up to 1 April 2027 the role is purely office based, and there is flexibility to work the hours between Tuesday and Friday (not Mondays). The role has core hours of 10am-4pm so the working day needs to be within these hours.
The role may require work in the evenings or weekends and potential time staying in Liverpool.
Main responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive project plan for all aspects of ICTMM 2028, working with the PCO, and be responsible for ensuring all stakeholders meet deadlines leading up to the event
- Coordinate stakeholders working on ICTMM 2028, ensuring all are up to date with progress and relations run smoothly – including RSTMH, PCO, conference venue, IFTM, ICTMM Strategic, Sponsorship and Scientific Committees and other third parties
- Work with RSTMH CEO to recruit Committee Chairs and members, develop a long list of partners and sponsors for funding and support, and develop legal agreements for these
- Develop and disseminate accurate and timely content about ICTMM through a dedicated website, a dedicated newsletter and other marketing materials, which is high quality, and accessible
- Work with the RSTMH CEO and PCO to deliver sponsorship and other financial support for the event
- Help coordinate meetings of the ICTMM Committees where needed
- Assist the PCO with activities to maximise attendance to the event
- Help deliver travel and accommodation, plus assist with visas for speakers and sponsored attendees
- Oversight and responsibility for the budget, and re-forecasting of income and expenditure for the event
- Work with the PCO on the logistics of the event management e.g. exhibition space and registration
- Assist RSTMH and the Scientific Committee to secure plenary speakers, assisting with logistics
- Establish and manage a system to monitor and evaluate progress towards ICTMM 2028
- Manage all ICTMM event enquiries that come through to RSTMH and forward to the relevant team
- Develop systems and processes to ensure we capture all data from ICTMM into our CRM

About the role
The Director of Membership Services provides strategic leadership for the Membership Services directorate and is therefore responsible for the development and implementation of all Imperial College Union strategy relating to Student Activities, Representation, Advice, Governance and Policy. The role ensure the delivery and resourcing of operating plans, policy and operating procedures to ensure that the Union delivers its strategic objectives across its Membership Services.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced marcomms professional to help us upscale our campaigns activity. From leading the national Tomorrow’s Engineers Week campaign and leveraging external awareness days to increasing audience engagement with our work, this is a varied role working across the marketing, communications, PR mix. Role Purpose:
The Social Change Nest is going through a very exciting growth period and since our Head of Development is going on maternity leave for 4 months from September we are looking for somebody who can join our growing team as soon as possible. The Senior Development Manager will contribute to our FY25/26 income targets and cover part of the functions of the Head of Development while she’s on leave. The Head of Development manages the Development team, which covers the business development, marketing and communications functions, and works with the CEO to ensure that the organisation grows in a strategic and balanced way.
The Social Change Nest is onboarding and supporting hundreds of new groups every year and we are working closely with funders across the UK and worldwide, helping them move large amounts of funding to unincorporated movements at the frontlines of social change. We are spending more time than ever raising awareness on how capital flows impact the ability of communities to create change, and how we can hack the system to enable more money to flow in an equitable way to unincorporated movements.
We are looking for somebody who is excited about all this and ready to hit the ground running. We are in the middle of a large capital raise, so we would like the ideal candidate to join the team as soon as possible to work closely with the Head of Development and the CEO, as well as the rest of the Development team, for 3 months, before the Head of Development goes on maternity leave. The Senior Development Manager will then take over part of the team support responsibilities of the Head of Development and share responsibility for the income targets with the CEO for the months that the Head of Development is on leave.

About the role
Working in close collaboration with the Senior Mass Fundraising Lead, the role will manage and deliver a variety of community-led fundraising initiatives and dynamic challenge events that engage supporters and generate vital unrestricted funds for children affected by neuroblastoma.
The role focuses on building strong relationships with fundraisers, volunteers and ambassadors, providing guidance, support and motivation to help them surpass their fundraising goals. The Dunard Centre is recruiting a Development Manager to support the delivery of fundraising strategy across a broad range of income streams including trust and foundations, individual giving and corporate sponsorship. This fixed-term role will suit a self-motivated, articulate individual with the ability to work confidently across multiple income lines.

Key responsibilities

Supporting income generation, pipeline management, and ensuring accurate donor records are maintained

Providing regular reports, data and insight to the Director of Development

Essential skills & experience
• Proven track record of using initiative to secure grants and donations
• Able to create compelling, tailored fundraising content to drive donor engagement and maximise income opportunities
• Confidently able to work on a CRM database for supporter management and reporting
• Keen understanding of donor care and stewardship
• Event creation and management
• Outstanding people skills
• Excellent organisation and time management skills, ability to prioritise effectively and adapt to changing circumstances
• Knowledge of regulatory environment for fundraising from individuals including data protection, Gift Aid and fundraising codes of practice and regulation

We are looking for a creative and motivated individual with a background in fundraising and experience of writing for a variety of audiences. RNIB is at a key time of development with a new organisational strategy, a new CRM, and ambitious fundraising targets and plans.
What you'll be doing:
In this role, you'll work closely with the Senior Manager Proposition Development to shape compelling propositions, develop new funding ideas, and design engagement actions that will drive relationships forward.
You will work in partnership with colleagues within the Relationship Development team, Strategic Relationships & Philanthropy directorate (covering Major Donors, Trusts, Statutory and Lottery, and Corporate Partnerships), and a wide range of internal RNIB stakeholders, to develop an understanding of organisational priorities and funder needs.
Using your experience in bid writing or fundraising, you will develop exciting new propositions which appeal to a wide range of funders. You'll be able to develop a deep understanding of the needs of our fundraisers and connect those with the exciting and innovative work of RNIB.
You'll lead on engagement for the team, developing tailored cultivation strategies, engagement pathways, and designing products to move prospects through their giving journeys.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary Relationship Development Team, you'll develop our core offer and adopt a test and learn approach for our key stakeholders.
The post is full-time and permanent, working 35 hours a week. This can either be as a home based role or hybrid, working from one of our offices. You'll need to travel for team meetings and planning days which are often in our London Head Office.

Essential
Proven leadership and strategic management potential at senior level, ideally within a
