Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per year FTE, dependent on experience

Contract: We are open to this role being part time (0.8FTE) or full time. We offer fully flexible working.

Founded in 2022, the Warm Welcome Campaign wants everyone in the UK to find a place of belonging and reconnection at a Warm Welcome Space near their home. We have a bold ambition to enable a more deeply connected society where we all have free access to welcoming community spaces. 

We resource, connect and champion a network of over 5,300 Warm Welcome Spaces and bring together a growing coalition of local, regional, and national partners representing the worlds of charity, faith, business, government, and philanthropy. By working together, we can unlock the power of community spaces made by and for everyone, creating a thriving network of hope and reconnection fueled by human warmth.

The Opportunity

To support ongoing growth and development of the Warm Welcome Campaign, we are looking for a Campaign Operations Director to be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the Campaign and to lead on the delivery of our ambitious 5-year strategy. The role will sit within Warm Welcome’s Senior Leadership Team which also includes the Campaign Director, Director of Communications, and Development Director, and will report directly to the Campaign Director (David Barclay).

The purpose of the Warm Welcome Senior Leadership Team is to:

● Own and develop the Warm Welcome strategy, ensuring sustainability and delivery

● Lead, direct, engage and inspire the Warm Welcome team, setting the tone and culture

● Be accountable for significant decisions, challenges and risks.

The role will be responsible for:

● Ensuring that our 5-year strategy is delivered on time and to budget

● Developing our internal processes and systems during a period of growth

● Managing the Warm Welcome financial management, including internal budgeting, financial reporting, and the development of budgets for funding applications

● Overseeing the teams working on our partnerships and research programmes

Working Arrangements

● Current members of the team are based across the UK, with some in London, Reading, Bristol, Manchester and Northern Ireland. Applicants must be able to travel to Bristol once a month for a Tuesday full team meeting. Given the nature of this role we would also expect the applicant to carry out a reasonable amount of travel to both Warm Welcome Spaces and partners across the UK.

Job Title: Marketing and Communications Manager

Reports to: Head of Marketing and Commercial Operations

Location: Aerospace Bristol. You will generally be required at the museum at least 4 days per week. Some weekend and occasional evening work will also be required.

The Role

The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a key role in the planning and delivery of strategic, ambitious and creative marketing campaigns and communications.

What you will be doing

· Collaborating with agencies: Build and maintain effective agency relationships, coordinating projects and campaigns in partnership with external agencies in line with the marketing and communications plans.

· Brand management: Along with the Head of Marketing & Commercial Operations and external agencies, take a leading role in owning and developing the museum’s brand identity. Ensure all activities are on brand and implemented consistently.

· Content creation: Working with agencies, create compelling and engaging content for various channels, including the website, social media, email campaigns, newsletters, press releases, and marketing collateral.

· Graphic design: Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing marketing materials. Work with templates using software such as InDesign and/or Canva to deliver basic design tasks.

· Social media management: Manage and grow the museum's social media presence across platforms through frequent publishing of quality content. Creating and curating content, and reporting engagement and metrics.

· Media relations: Collaborate with the external communications agency to cultivate relationships with media outlets and manage media inquiries, press releases, and pitching stories.

· Event promotion: Develop marketing plans for events and programs, including fundraisers, workshops, visitor programming, and awareness campaigns.

· Website management: Ensure the website is up-to-date, user-friendly, compliant with data protection legislation, and aligned with brand guidelines.

· Analytics and reporting: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing and communication campaigns, the website and social media providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. Work with the Head of Marketing & Commercial Operations to enhance audience understanding through research, surveys and effective use of CRM.

· Stakeholder engagement: Engage with donors, volunteers, partners and the community to foster positive relationships, inform communications, and support the museum's mission.

• Develop an Individual Giving strategy including short, medium and long-term acquisition and retention plans

Main responsibilities

Public Affairs (50% time)

• Develop and implement the CJA’s public affairs and influencing strategy to advance the CJA's objectives.
• Work with CJA members on influencing specific legislation, including campaigning around bills, writing amendments, and working with MPs and Peers to promote them within the legislative process.
• Stakeholder engagement (Parliament): Build and maintain relationships with key policy makers and parliamentarians through face-to-face meetings, providing briefings to MPs and Lords for Parliamentary debates, preparing written/oral questions, and attending Select Committees, APPGs, Parliamentary receptions and other relevant roundtables and events.

Policy and Research (40% time)

• Monitor policy and political debates and developments on criminal justice issues, horizon-scanning emerging policy issues, and where appropriate, disseminate and brief colleagues and CJA members.
• Maintain a repository of evidence briefings from CJA members.
• Identify proactive and reactive opportunities to promote and embed CJA and members recommendations and research.
• Produce high quality and influential policy briefs, reports, position papers, and responses to consultations, to advocate for changes in policy and practice put forward by CJA members.
• Lead on the monitoring of policy engagement and impact by using our evaluation tools and work with external evaluators as required to capture impact and utilise learning.
• Work with CJA members, people directly impacted by the justice system and other key stakeholders to harness and amplify their expertise and insights.
• Lead the co-ordination and establishment of member expert groups to inform our policy work.
• Develop opportunities for joint working with researchers / research organisations and manage that partnership work, including co-ordinating the CJA research symposium.

Other (10% time)

• Work with the Communications and Engagement Manager to respond to media and other communication opportunities to promote the CJA’s work and to contribute to national debate on criminal justice issues.
• Work with the CJA team to recommend and secure relevant speakers and presenters for CJA meetings and events. 
• Support the Communications and Engagement Manager to develop content for the website and other internal and external communications, such as blogs and articles.
• Contribute to the general administration and delivery of CJA programmes, events and overall objectives.
• Work with the Director to support the development of potential fundraising bids and reporting progress to funders.
• Conduct the duties of the job description in accordance with the operational policies of the CJA, including the Diversity and Adult Safeguarding Policies.

Here at the Big Issue Group we have a rare and exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about fighting poverty in Scotland.
 
The Regional Manager role will oversee the Scotland Frontline team in engaging with more people in poverty, developing local partnerships and providing support to our vendors.
 
Our Frontline Team are part of The Big Issue Community Interest Company (CIC) and was set up to widen the support package we offer to our vendors and people in poverty. This is enabling us to provide not just sales support for our vendors selling the magazine but also outreach services such as wellbeing, financial, mental health and employment support.
 
You will be the strategic lead for the region, taking responsibility for performance against organisational KPI’s, service development, team leadership, development and motivation, vendor engagement and working with the Managing Director to ensure financial performance and that vendors, and others working with the CIC have access to the right support, opportunities and community services to move out of poverty.

About the role

This is a key role in the Finance, People & Operations team, ensuring SIA operates smoothly, safely and compliantly. You’ll lead on compliance, the maintenance and security of SIA House IT, and sustainability - making sure our systems and structures support our national network effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

Leadership:

• Play an active role in SIA’s management team, contributing to cross-departmental projects.
• Engage in staff, management, and trustee meetings, helpful shape SIA’s operational effectiveness.
• Champion organisation planning and drive the achievement of strategic goals.

Operations and Facilities:

• Oversee and maintenance, security and efficiency of SIA House, ensuring value for money in supplier contracts.
• Ensure effective short, medium, and long-term planning and management of the operations budgets.
• Lead on health & safety compliance, and ensure all policies are up to date.
• Drive sustainability initiatives and lead our staff sustainability group.
• Create and maintain the organisation’s business continuity plan.

IT:

• Lead IT strategy, ensuring systems meet the organisation’s needs.
• Oversee IT provision, staff training, and cyber security in collaboration with our Managed Security Service provider.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health & safety and data protection.
• Act as the designated officer for complaints, and compliance-related issues.
• Keep up to date with UK regulatory changes and ensure SIA remains compliant.
• Support risk management and report compliance matters to senior leadership and the board.
• Coordinator and deliver compliance training for staff, trustees, and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

Skills, experience and professional qualifications required:

• Experience of working for a small to medium sized organisation in a HR stand-alone role
• Experience of managing a wide range of employee relations (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement, dismissal, absence management), policy development and health & safety compliance
• Experience of managing staff recruitment, selection, onboarding and offboarding
• Experience of managing a cloud-based HR system, integrated with payroll, for the whole organisation
• Analytical skills to draw out useful information to inform reports and actions

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead IRMO’s Education, Training and Employment (ETE) programme. You’ll manage a dedicated team and oversee a range of initiatives that support our community’s social, cultural and economic integration in the UK.

The ETE programme offers tailored English classes, one-to-one coaching, employability workshops, vocational training and mentoring. It also includes oversight of IRMO’s volunteer scheme, which is an integral part of service delivery and offers meaningful roles for volunteers across the programme. The Programme Manager will play a key role in developing and strengthening this area, and we are currently working towards the Investing in Volunteers quality mark.

These initiatives help people build the skills they need to access and progress in the UK labour market, while also increasing their civic and social participation. Hand in hand with leading fundraising, you will oversee the Communications team, supporting, developing and monitoring the communications strategy, associated budget, resources, systems, processes and operations. This will involve overseeing and directing a communications plan promoting the work of Dementia Adventure to a broad range of audiences through various channels and campaigns, along with increasing online and social media presence.

About you
We are looking for someone to join the charity’s Senior Leadership Team who will bring experience from their past successes and provide inspirational strategic leadership and direction to the fundraising and communications functions in support of the Dementia Adventure business plan, charitable mission and objectives. The successful applicant will have a strong, successful track record of fundraising and/or other forms of income generation in the charity sector, including management, with proven experience in meeting financial and non-financial targets. You will be joining a supportive and ambitious Fundraising department as we embark on a new fundraising strategy (2025-2029), with a renewed focus on growing our supporter numbers alongside growing our income, so we can increase our impact for people with cystic fibrosis. This is a key role in the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships team to help achieve its plans for growth. 
 
In this role, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of major donor relationships to raise substantial donations in line with agreed targets.
• Research, identify and cultivate new major donors and build strong ongoing relationships with existing supporters.
• Support the development and implementation of an effective major donor fundraising strategy to grow income over time.
• Organise and deliver high quality cultivation and stewardship events.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify projects that would be of interest to current and prospective major donors and prepare tailored proposals to secure funding.

 
We’re looking for someone with experience of fundraising from High-Net-Worth Individuals and a track record of securing high value gifts, with great communication and relationship building skills. You will have experience designing and delivering high impact stewardship programmes and an understanding of the legal, financial and ethical issues related to major gifts.
