This is an exciting time to join the MS Trust as we launch a new strategic framework for the next five years. Are you an inspiring leader and excellent networker, with a good working knowledge of the NHS? If you are able to influence, collaborate and build partnerships to maximise our impact for people living with MS, then this could be the perfect role for you.

Join our friendly team
We are looking for someone with strong leadership, communication and relationship building skills who can galvanise action on behalf of the MS community. Ideally you will have experience in a health charity or NHS background, with a clear ability to deliver impactful services to meet the needs of a diverse range of people.

We encourage you to apply, even if you feel you may not meet all the criteria listed.

Our charity
The MS Trust is a UK charity which is here to help everyone make sense of MS. We are here for everyone affected by MS, from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey. We're here today, tomorrow and every day after that.

The role
You will be responsible for delivering services against the organisation’s new strategic framework for 2025-2030 to make the greatest possible difference for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). The role represents an opportunity to play an active part in driving excellence, equity and consistency in treatment and support.

With a mandate to oversee the development of a research function within the charity, delivering research into the things that matter in the lives of people with MS. The Director of Services will also oversee and broaden the reach of our training and education programme for MS Health Professionals, along with ensuring we provide the right support, at the right time, for the widest possible range of people through our helpline.

 What we can offer

· 28 days annual leave per year plus bank holidays, which increases with length of service to 30 days.

· Company pension with enhanced employer contribution. Salary Sacrifice scheme available.

· Death in Service benefit.

· Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay.

· Sick pay.

· Hybrid working.

· Employee Assistance Programme

· Fantastic office location with free parking, local to town centre and train station. Good transport links to London and Cambridge.

· Learning and Development policy to develop all staff.

· Cycle to work scheme, volunteering day and Season ticket loans.
