Position: Communications and Marketing Manager   

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 pro rata, pension paid at 4% contribution (Band 3a) pro rata  

Hours: 3-4 days (.6 to .8FTE)  

Days of work: Flexible to take place between Monday and Friday, TOIL-able hours in the evening or weekends when required

Now, we are looking for a dynamic, innovative and creative Communications and Marketing Manager to join our Fundraising Team, helping us grow our impact and lead our external communications and digital marketing efforts to support more survivors of modern slavery.

As Communications and Marketing Manager, you will lead on crafting and delivering compelling communications that strengthen our brand, deepen supporter engagement, and drive income. With a strategic approach and a passion for storytelling, you will also oversee and support the delivery of creative, consistent and sensitive messaging internally and externally.  

The role is responsible for continuing and enhancing both public and internal communication. We are a growing charity helping to lead the way in supporting survivors of modern slavery. This role is a pivotal part of the Fundraising team and will help us to deliver our aim to empower survivors of modern slavery and exploitation.    

This role is designed for someone who enjoys cultivating and developing income through individual giving and thrives on excellent and creative communication.  

What You’ll Be Doing:   

This person will take the lead on developing and delivering the organisation’s communication and marketing, in line with our branding, mission, vision and values. This includes:   

• Lead on branding, digital presence (website, social media, newsletters), and compelling storytelling to grow awareness, engage supporters, and recruit staff/volunteers. 

• Develop and deliver campaigns, newsletters, and case studies with sensitivity, ensuring consistent brand representation and co-produced content with beneficiaries. 

• Contribute to annual fundraising strategy, create detailed communications/marketing plans with budgets and targets, and strengthen the donor journey. 

• Partner with the fundraising team to drive income through digital marketing, supporter engagement, donor retention, and data-led reporting. 

• Manage eTapestry records, supporter data, and income tracking, while recommending improvements in data management and ensuring GDPR compliance.

Job Title: Cash Management Officer

Location: Central Office based in Islington (10 minute walk from Highbury & Islington and/or Angel stations) Please note that this location does not have step free access

You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team, helping to improve processes, develop financial tools, and deliver training where needed. Your work will ensure financial accuracy and integrity across the Group and its subsidiaries, enabling our services to run smoothly and effectively.

Job Title: People and Culture Business Partner - Organisational Change 

Location: Based in our Central office in Islington, around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station. You will also be able to work from home and will be required to make regular visits to our services. Please note that step free access is not available at our central office and some of our other services.

Salary: £44,000

Shift Pattern: Fixed Term contract approximately 8 months, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. You may also be required to work evenings and outside these hours to provide flexibility to our night run services. 

About the role

We're seeking an all rounded generalist to join our People and Culture team to support specifically in around areas of organisational change, mainly in relation to managing mobilisations, TUPE, staff consultations and growth. You will use your previous experience in these areas to manage the process of organisational change, working alongside the wider P&C team and managers across the organisation. Some key responsibilities in this role includes:

• Provide high quality support, leadership and guidance to managers and staff for change projects from start to finish.
• Support with matters of employee relations, escalations, and cross specialist areas.
• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders to successfully deliver legally compliant, compassionate, and robust organisational change processes.
• Maintain effective project management resources and timelines.

About you

We are looking for someone who has experience in coaching and advising managers and colleagues with legal and internal obligations in relation to HR, you would have proven experience in a similar role at a similar level with responsibilities to this position. You will be a team player, confident in your skills and ability, and able to build rapport with others. Confidentiality will be at the core of what you do, and you will be able to take an objective standpoint to provide the correct advise to others. You will have: 

• Experience in managing mobilisations, TUE, de-mobilisations, redundancy consultations, change consultation, and project management
• Working knowledge and understanding of HR procedures and basic employment law practices, and how it applies under UK employment legislation
• Experience in coaching and advising managers in employee relations activities across the full lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, required learning packages and general ER case work
• Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal including relationship building

About the role

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who has experience in Complex Mental Health and Substance Misuse to join our residential service based in Croydon. You will use your skills and knowledge to support residents with mental health challenges, complex needs, and will provide specialist occupational therapy as part of their recovery. This is a great opportunity to shape your own role, alongside a team of Positive Engagement Workers, a Dual Diagnosis Worker, and Clinical Psychologist, whilst working closely with the Group Psychological Lead and other external partnerships. You will receive regular supervisions and have time with an external Occupational Therapist. 

You will:

• Deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills
• Be proactive with planning and delivering meaningful activities; this includes one to one and group sessions
• Work closely with clinical teams to meet people where they are, assess their situation, and write recommendations and signposting accordingly
• Assess their current situation through holistic assessments and put plans in place for them to overcome their personal barriers, to enable them for independent living and stability
• Provide psychologically informed interventions in a person-centred approach, flexibly to the resident needs
• Complete various assessments from function to task related to help empower enhanced community and personal engagement
• Set SMART goals in a collaborative way with residents, taking into account all information present from various team members and partner agencies.  

About you

We’re looking for a passionate, driven and qualified Occupational Therapist, registered with the HCPC who has experience working with people that have multiple complex needs. You’ll be confident applying theory to the practical working environment. We use a trauma informed, non judgmental approach, so it’s important that you can work well with others, fit into the team, and build trusting relationships. You will be able to apply your knowledge of relevant guidance and protocols to the working environment. You will have a background in a similar role, able to provide specialist support to our residents who struggle with their mental health and substance use.

What we look for:

• Ability to provide specialised occupational therapy assessment and treatment for residents/participants.
• Willingness to work in adherence to Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and Consultation Observation Tool (COT) and other practice guidelines.
• Ability to identify activity needs and wishes through various approaches such as assessments, observations, and discussions then use these to implement plans of action.
• Ability to recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications and initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.
• Supporting residents/participants with the relevant life skills, knowledge, and resources to support their journey to achieve independence and their desired goals.
• Ability to develop, participate in, and encourage residents/participants to participate in the running and development of various projects and group engagement activities.

Key aim of the job role:

The role will drive Anawim’s trusts and foundations fundraising, ensuring vital income to sustain and grow Anawim's services. You will build on relationships with existing funders and identify new funders to raise significant funds from trusts and foundations, including six- and seven-figure funders. You will have a proven track-record of making successful high-quality, creative funding applications. You will work collaboratively across teams to ensure funding is aligned with operational needs and identify any funding gaps.

Alongside income generation, you will provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to colleagues. This role is crucial in securing long-term, flexible income that enables Anawim to continue to deliver its essential work.

We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser who can work alone and confidently to shape and grow our fundraising income.

For over five decades, the Renewal Programme has been a trusted cornerstone of the community in the London Borough of Newham, tackling the root causes and consequences of poverty, isolation, and disadvantage.

Role overview

The Transformation Hub Manager will play a pivotal role in reshaping our service offerings by creating a vibrant, inclusive, and strengths-based hub for our communities - many of who are underserved, including asylum seekers, refugees, residents facing isolation, and those affected by homelessness. You will lead on the delivery and successful management of our National Lottery funded RenewALL Hub, transforming our ideas from concept into a sustainable, impactful centre for community wellbeing. Central to this role is continuing to drive the shift from a crisis-led service model to a holistic, strengths-based approach, ensuring the RenewALL hub empowers Newham residents to connect, grow, and thrive. A major part of this transformation will be designing and delivering a wide range of new activities and services. Crucially, the Hub will not just deliver activities for residents but will be co-designed and co-produced with them, embedding lived experience and the voice of the community at its core. Success will depend on your ability to build and lead a coherent, motivated team of staff and volunteers, uniting them behind the shared vision of the Hub. You will work to create a welcoming space that reflects the ambitions of our Open House strategy, where dignity, inclusion, collaboration and empowerment are lived out in every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Hub Development

• Lead a team to ensure the successful implementation of the RenewALL Hub project, as submitted to the National Lottery Community Fund, aligning all activities with our “Open House” strategy and theory of change.
• Champion and embed a strengths-based, “advantaged thinking” culture across all Hub operations, actively shifting the focus from deficits to assets.

CSE is seeking to appoint a confident and adaptable Project Manager (Maternity Cover) with the experience and initiative to lead and deliver a varied portfolio of community-based energy and climate projects.

This role will likely initially focus on coordinating our work on the Energy Learning Network and supporting the networking of local community organisations that provide vital energy advice.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who is confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and has proven experience managing multi-partner or community-based projects. They will understand and seek to champion the value of community-led approaches to energy and climate action.

Pay and conditions

• The role is full-time 1-year fixed contract (37.5 hours per week).
• The salary for the role will be £36,075.
• You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities

- Establish and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with funders and stakeholders, potentially including existing funders and strategic partners, community groups, local authorities, voluntary sector associations, housing associations, youth groups.

- Provide expertise and experience necessary to deliver projects well and contribute to the upskilling of CSE staff and the capacity building of external stakeholders. In this role that could include models and approaches for viable community led sustainability initiatives, community renewables, sustainability initiatives, community engagement, community resilience, or energy efficiency.
