About the role
Do you live in Edinburgh or the surrounding area?
As a senior community fundraiser, you’ll be an important part of the team building Breast Cancer Now’s presence in Scotland, with a particular focus on Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
We’re looking for someone who is an experienced relationship builder, someone who can find and develop new supporters. You’ll need excellent local knowledge, and the enthusiasm to develop a brand-new fundraising region.
The successful candidate will also be part of the team working on our large-scale project supporting and growing Asda Tickled Pink, our award-winning partnership with Asda and CoppaFeel! which has already raised over £100 million.
You’ll work directly with passionate colleagues across Asda stores in your region driving new fundraising initiatives, inspiring communities and celebrating incredible successes.
No 2 days will look the same as you travel, connect and engage supporters to help us grow income to deliver our mission.
The role is initially offered as an 18-month contract with the potential to become permanent
About you
You’re confident in approaching new contacts and are experienced in developing new relationships from scratch. This may currently be in a customer service, account management or stewardship role.
You’re experienced in managing and building new and established relationships with a focus on retention and income growth.
You’re enthusiastic, proactive, organised and unafraid to test and try new ideas.
You’re required to be involved being out and about in the community that you’re building, so you must be able to work independently outside of the office in varying locations and enjoy being busy.
Previous experience working in a charity is not required.

Primary location of role
This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in the Edinburgh area with unlimited access to their own car. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London, Sheffield or Glasgow office.

Hillside Clubhouse is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to join our dynamic Islington team, supporting people with mental health conditions to gain and retain employment. The IPS Employment Specialists within the Islington IPS Service work within the nationally recognised IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model within NHS secondary and primary care mental health teams, based in the heart of Islington.

Who We Are:
Hillside Clubhouse is a co-produced mental health employment support charity working across Islington. We support people with mental health conditions into training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. People can access our services via our Clubhouse, where they can share their skills and expertise with others and support the running of the charity. Alternatively, they can receive support out in the community from one of our Employment Specialists based within NHS mental health teams.
The Role:
We are recruiting for one IPS Employment Specialist role within our Islington IPS Service. This position will be based within the North London NHS Foundation Trust mental health services in the borough of Islington.
As an IPS Employment Specialist, you’ll play an important role in supporting people with lived mental health experience on their recovery journey by supporting them back into paid employment. This is an opportunity to offer ongoing support, to motivate and provide people with hope, while developing the tools and skills required to recover - ultimately transforming their lives.
A variety of skills are needed in this post including but not limited to: a strong ability to develop empathy and rapport with clients; a determined approach to seeking out job opportunities; a person centric-approach to working with people; strong communications skills to motivate clients; strong administrative capabilities and an attention to detail engage with prospective employers via business development and face-to-face meetings, as well as to be able to challenge some perceptions around mental health.
The postholder will be directly employed by Hillside Clubhouse but work under an Honorary Contract from the North London NHS Foundation Trust. They will be managed directly by the IPS Operations Manager but work as team member within the clinical team. The role is dynamic and involves being integrated in a clinical team, working within the community, and we operate a flexible working policy where working from home is also permitted up to two days per week.

To enable people with mental health issues to gain and sustain competitive employment by working within the evidence-based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.

Key responsibilities
Marketing and Communications
- Plan, coordinate and deliver integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns and events to achieve income targets, ensure consistent messaging and strengthen supporter engagement across all channels.
- Work closely with the global communications team to deliver the organisation’s marketing and communications strategy in alignment with global objectives.
- Manage website content in WordPress, ensuring it is accurate, engaging, and regularly updated.
- Oversee the social media strategy, creating and scheduling high-quality content (using Canva and Later) to grow brand awareness and supporter engagement.
- Manage ambassador and influencer relationships to support campaigns, storytelling, and reach.

Fundraising

Unleashed Women – Community & Investor Stewardship
- Act as the primary staff relationship lead for the Unleashed Women community.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing stewardship of Unleashed Women members.
- Coordinate the planning, promotion and delivery of monthly virtual forums and quarterly in-person gatherings, working closely with the Executive & Operations VA on all logistics.
- Maintain regular communication and engagement with members through WhatsApp groups, email updates and event communications, ensuring consistent tone, warmth and responsiveness.
- Act as a key link between Unleashed Women and THP’s global country teams, ensuring meaningful programme engagement and feedback.
- Support retention and thoughtful growth of the community through relationship-led follow-up and investor care.
- Ensure all Unleashed Women activity is accurately reflected in Beacon and associated supporter systems.
Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain and manage the Beacon CRM database, ensuring accurate data capture, segmentation, and analysis to support effective fundraising, stewardship, and communications.
- Ensure all new and lapsed investors are correctly tagged and updated in Mailchimp, Beacon and other relevant systems.
- Evaluate and report on the performance of fundraising and marketing campaigns, interpreting data from CRM and digital platforms to measure impact and inform strategy.
Operations
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve key operational systems and processes to ensure efficiency and smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Coordinate and maintain fundraising platforms such as Benevity and JustGiving, ensuring campaign pages are accurate, up to date, and performing effectively.

We are seeking a strategic and relational Grants Manager to help take the Trust into its next stage of implementation and growth. Acting as second-in-command to the Director, you'll manage grants across the portfolio with a particular focus on the deprivation programme, which funds organisations supporting families, tackling homelessness and preparing young people for valuable roles in society.
In this influential role, you'll support the Director in developing grant making strategy, research organisations and assess applications, and monitor existing grants making recommendations for continuation or termination. You'll produce board papers and presentations, supervise the Grants Officer overseeing the Eating Disorders programme, and promote the Trust's founding Christian ethos by representing them at events and supporting Christian grantees. Because the Trust is fully funded, you'll have the opportunity to support projects at the cutting edge or in areas other funders aren't focusing on.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

The Access Interns Programme Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of the ACCESS INTERNS programme, overseeing the internship placement process, employer engagement, and student support. This includes managing the selection process, coordinating placements, ensuring workplace accessibility, and tracking the programme’s impact.
The role also involves working closely with corporate employers to create inclusive work environments, supporting interns throughout their placements, and expanding engagement with schools, employers, and industry leaders to ensure disabled young people have equal access to high-quality career opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Management
· Managing the Access Interns Programme, ensuring it is delivered to a high standard and in line with Variety’s policies and procedures
· Working with the Chief Executive Officer to set annual internship placement targets, manage the Access Interns budget and develop the Access Interns Programme.
· Overseeing the end-to-end process of the programme, from student recruitment and employer engagement to placement coordination and post-internship evaluation.
· Adhering to Variety’s Safeguarding policies and procedures and working with the Head of Programmes, by recognising that interns are vulnerable adults, and taking responsibility for their safety, welfare, and well-being throughout the programme.

· Developing guidance materials, training sessions, and workshops to prepare students for internships and support their professional growth

Logistics and Coordination
· Coordinating interview schedule, employer meeting, and onboarding sessions to facilitate successful placements.

· Organising online disability awareness training for corporate employers as part of the onboarding process, ensuring employers understand best practices for supporting disabled interns and creating accessible workplaces.

Budget and Income Generation
· Managing the Access Interns Programme budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
· Generating income from the programme, including securing corporate partnerships and funding opportunities to sustain and expand Access Interns.
· Working closely with the fundraising team to assist in converting Access Intern partners into Corporate Donors for Variety’s wider work.
· Working with the Chief Executive Officer to set financial targets and explore additional funding streams.
· Monitoring expenditure, tracking income, and providing financial reports on programme performance.
Student Outreach & Support

FoodCycle is a national charity running volunteer-powered community dining projects that combine rescued surplus food, spare kitchen space and local volunteers to deliver free, hot, sociable three-course meals. Our work sits at the intersection of food-waste reduction, food-poverty relief and loneliness prevention. As our next CEO you will:
• Shape strategy & impact - co-create and implement a clear 3–5 year strategy and a focused 12-month operational plan with measurable milestones.

Who you are
• A senior leader with experience stabilising and growing people-facing, delivery-focused organisations.
• Proven at generating income from multiple streams, with commercial fluency to develop simple trading models and convert corporate engagement into lasting partnerships.
• Financially literate - comfortable owning budgets, forecasting and discussing risk with trustees.
• Excellent at people and change management - able to build and motivate small national teams and large volunteer cohorts.
• Data-driven, curious and pragmatic - tests pilots, embeds what works and sets clear go/no-go criteria for scale.

Programme Support & Knowledge Director
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

About the team
The Programme Support & Knowledge (PSK) team is a critical and dynamic unit within WaterAid UK’s International Programmes Department (IPD), working across 17 countries in Africa and Asia. PSK is a diverse and motivated group of over 20 technical specialists and advisors committed to bringing sustainable WASH to the world’s poorest and most marginalised people.
About the role
As our Programme Support and Knowledge Director, you will play a key role in delivering our mission by providing strategic leadership to the PSK team and the wider IPD, as part of the department’s SMT. You will also input into organisation-wide initiatives, external collaborations and global networks to drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic and technical leadership to WaterAid UK’s programmes
- Lead the Programme Support & Knowledge Team
- Lead programme learning and knowledge management
- Oversee programme support and capacity development
- Support fundraising, external engagement, partnerships and communications

Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Extensive and deep experience in WASH development across multiple contexts
- Strong technical WASH skills – e.g. sustainable rural and /or urban water supply service delivery and management, climate resilient WASH,
- Systems-thinking capability to support transformational WASH programming
- Proven ability to lead strategic, impactful initiatives in large organisations
- Strong understanding of planning, monitoring and evaluation in development
- Experience in knowledge management, learning and capacity development
- Proven experience of developing propositions and donor engagement and
- A track record of leading high-performing teams and supporting change
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Working knowledge of French, Portuguese or Spanish
- Experience leading or managing applied research
- Experience establishing and promoting technical standards.

Overall purpose
The Employment Advisor (EA) plays a key role in supporting refugees and people from refugee backgrounds to progress towards and secure sustainable employment. The EA provides tailored employment advice and guidance, helping clients build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to navigate the UK job market. This role will work with clients at various stages of their employment journey, with a particular focus on those in the earlier stages of understanding career options, developing employability skills, and exploring education, training, and volunteering opportunities.
The EA will deliver one-to-one and group-based employability support, collaborate with employers and volunteers to source opportunities for clients, and maintain strong relationships with referral and support partners to ensure a holistic approach to employment support.
Key Responsibilities
We are a fast-paced charity that prides itself on its flexibility and responsiveness so your responsibilities may change, develop and grow according to the needs and development of our programmes.
1) Client Support
- Provide tailored one-to-one support to clients, helping them understand the UK labour market, define career goals, and develop employability skills. This could be in-person or online depending on client needs.
- Support clients with CV and cover letter writing, job applications, interview preparation, and job searching.
- Guide clients in identifying appropriate employment, education, training, and volunteering opportunities that align with their career aspirations.
- Deliver group sessions to help clients build knowledge and skills in a supportive peer-learning environment.
- Manage a caseload of clients with varying needs, adjusting frequency and intensity of support based on individual requirements.
2) Employer, Volunteer and Referral Partner Engagement
- Engage with employers to build networks and identify job, training, and work experience opportunities for clients.
- Attend job fairs and community events to connect clients with employers and recruitment opportunities.
- Support outreach initiatives by building and maintaining relationships with local referral partners, including Jobcentres, community organisations, and other support services.
- Liaise with volunteers to source additional expertise and mentoring opportunities for clients.
- Establish and maintain relationships with referral partners and support agencies to signpost clients to additional services, including welfare, housing, and mental health support.
3) Service Delivery and Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes in the CRM system.
- Implement and adhere to monitoring and evaluation processes to track client outcomes and inform service improvements.
- Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns, making appropriate referrals and ensuring clients receive the support they need.
- Support managers with additional projects, such as research, resource development, and service improvements.
