Our current 5 year strategy outlines our plan to increase our investment into ground-breaking world class research and policy development focused on improving access to kinder, more effective diagnosis, treatment and care for leukaemia and other blood cancers. We are seeking an experienced, driven and passionate Head of Public Fundraising to lead the mass fundraising team to achieve sustainable income growth over the coming years. We are looking for someone with energy and ambition, who can demonstrate strategic leadership to maximise fundraising opportunities across Community, Challenge Events, Regular Giving, Legacy and In Memory audiences, to grow our supporter networks and optimise supporter engagement and experience. The remit of this role also extends to include oversight of our CRM Database Manager and Supporter Care.

You will be part of an ambitious fundraising team driving growth across the portfolio, so we can fund more leukemia research and save more lives from this devastating disease. You will report to the Director of Fundraising, working alongside the Head of Philanthropy, and collaborating across the wider organisation to ensure mass fundraising aligns with our organisational priorities and values (Bold, Collaborative, Curious) and feels insight-driven, strategic and competitive in a crowded market place.
Leukaemia UK and You
We have recently invested in growing our fundraising team so that we can fund more life-changing research to increase our understanding of leukemia as a disease, and accelerate the development of kinder, more effective treatments. This includes investment to grow the public fundraising team, develop new fundraising products, recruit new supporters, and increase legacy giving through targeted campaigns.
We are also in the process of developing our new 5-year fundraising strategy, so you will be instrumental in creating an ambitious new plan to develop a diverse and sustainable mass fundraising portfolio, covering the key areas of donor acquisition, retention, and growth, with a focus on maximising our Challenge and Community events portfolio, and increasing Legacy, In Memory and Regular giving. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a portfolio of products to grow voluntary income, whilst leading a newly expanded and ambitious team. And you will help shape our data strategy, working with the Head of Digital and other colleagues across the organisation to develop our digital fundraising strategy; embed usage of our CRM and ensure GDPR compliance.
You will be results-driven with an appetite to innovate and drive continuous improvement, leading to increased conversions, deepened relationships, and long-term support.
Requirements - Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience of strategic leadership and oversight of a mass fundraising product portfolio.
- Proven experience of managing an engaging Community and Challenge Events fundraising portfolio.
- Proven experience of driving Legacy and In Memory giving to create a robust long-term pipeline. Experience of successfully developing and implementing legacy marketing strategies.
- Proven experience of applying the principles and techniques of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multichannel, multi-discipline environment to deliver significant returns and supporter satisfaction, especially through supporter recruitment channels.
- Experience of fully integrating a CRM database as a tool in the day-to-day work and running of a charity.
- Demonstrable experience of managing a high performing team, focussing on creating a culture where people thrive as individuals and can be their best selves.
- Experience of managing multi-channel media campaigns by utilising print and digital channels including social media and email.
- Good experience of building effective relationships with internal and external partners, including creative freelancers, media and direct marketing agencies.
- Experience of working with, negotiating with, and managing outputs of external agencies and internal departments, including contractual obligations.
- Strong project-management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns.
- Experience of setting and managing annual budgets, monitoring, and reconciling results and financial performance in income and expenditure. Providing associated narratives and monthly reforecasts.

Requirements - Knowledge

- Understanding of the effective development and use of supporter contact strategies, turning analysis and insight into high performance activity.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current digital fundraising trends, including social media marketing.
- High Level knowledge of Salesforce CRM databases and how best to utilise to steward supporters.
- Knowledge and experience of marketing processes and techniques across varied channels.
- High Level knowledge of legacy administration.
- High Level knowledge and understanding of charity law in relation to legacy fundraising, GDPR, PECR, data protection and other relevant fundraising regulation.
Role specifics & Benefits
- Hours: Full time hours are 37.5 Monday to Friday
- Location: We are very flexible! Our hybrid working policy is a minimum of two days per month in our London office unless it’s a role requirement to be in more frequently. Typically, we would expect the role holder to be in the office once a week, and certain roles within the team have this as a minimum requirement.

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it.
Since our founding in 2017, we’ve proudly campaigned successfully for the recognition of economic abuse in UK law and influenced wide-ranging systemic change to transform responses to it. We're now entering an ambitious new phase, and we’re seeking a dynamic, strategic and values-led Head of Income as part of the Senior Leadership Teamto help drive it forward.
This is a critical time for SEA. With a bold three-year strategy now in place, we’re looking for an experienced income-generation leader to oversee and diversify our income streams — across high-net-worth giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and earned income through consultancy and training. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Income will play a vital role in shaping the future of the organisation and enabling us to scale our impact.
The Head of Income will lead a talented team, including our Senior Fundraising Manager (trusts and foundations) and Corporate Development Manager (strategic multi-stakeholder partnerships), and collaborate closely with our CEO, Trustees and earned income delivery teams (consultancy and training) whilst also being hands on in relationship development. About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Fundraising & Events to lead the development and growth of a high-performing department focused on generating income through national and international challenge events and corporate partnerships.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for designing the fundraising and events strategy, building the structure and team to deliver it, and ensuring scalable, sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Department Building
- Develop and lead the overall strategy for the Fundraising & Events department in line with the organisation’s income growth objectives.

1. IT Coordination

About the Role
The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker will undertake a range of activities in support of Reprieve’s work on cases of individuals on death row or at risk of the death penalty across the MENA region, including casework and investigations into individual cases and the broader death penalty landscape, support to Reprieve clients, and support to partner organisations and lawyers in the MENA region and beyond. Background on MENA Death Penalty Work
Several countries in the MENA region consistently rank amongst the highest executing states in the world. Reprieve is one of few international organisations working on combatting the use of the death penalty in the region, working with partners primarily on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt, and monitoring the use of the death penalty across the wider region. The MENA team’s work is diverse and constantly evolving to shape, respond to, and anticipate changes in the domestic and regional death penalty landscape. Our strategy in any given jurisdiction is developed in collaboration with – and informed by – our partners and fellows. Direct casework on strategic cases is core to our work in all regions, and includes legal, political and advocacy strategies as appropriate. We look in particular to find and develop cases and narratives which have the potential to change the landscape and benefit as many individuals or classes of individuals as possible. Job Purpose:
Women in Prison’s South London Women’s Hubs provide support and advocacy to women at different points of the criminal justice system – whether they are at risk of offending, serving a community sentence, or in custody and leaving prison. The primary purpose of this role is to work with women in custody, including on remand, offering support to prepare for release and connect them with vital community support services prior to and on release from prison.

Job Purpose

The Internal Auditor role will undertake internal audit assignments, develop country-specific internal audit processes or thematic internal audits and work with our London and global teams to support external audit processes in countries of operation, oversee the global audit register, and with teams across the organisation advance effective financial management performance across the organisation
Job purpose:
Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, the post holder will undertake internal audit assignments and compliance reviews aimed at improving Saferworld’s internal systems and processes. The post-holder will also support the development of financial controls and build the capacity of finance and operational teams to implement them effectively.
The role requires a high level of initiative; proven skills and experience in project management; experience working collaboratively with others to achieve our vision; and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
The post-holder will have a successful track record in designing and leading internal audit processes and strengthening control systems, preferable at a complex organisation with multiple country offices/business units. Additional experience working with offices/partners in/on conflict affected contexts is highly desirable.
Roles and responsibilities:
Plan and carry out internal audits
- Draw up a yearly Internal Audit Plan based on key risks and an assessment of audit needs and agree it with the CEO in consultation with the Director of Finance and Operations and Director of Policy and Programmes.
- Carry out internal audit assignments across departments, projects, and programmes to assess compliance with financial policies, donor agreements, and statutory regulations, including negotiating terms of reference with relevant system/area owners, preparing reports, presenting the findings to the Senior Leadership, and following up on recommendations.
- Review financial transactions and accounting records, including data from SUN, to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Support necessary pre-audit preparation work related to external audits (both statutory and project audit) and assist the teams in ensuring smooth audit.
- Maintain the organisation’s register of grant and project audits, ensuring that audit findings recommendations are clearly documented and shared.
- Monitor the implementation of these recommendations and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely and effective solution.
- Carry out special investigations, as required by the Saferworld CEO or Senior Operational Team (SOT).
Strengthening organisational systems and risk controls
- Produce an annual review of the overall effectiveness of Saferworld’s systems of internal control and make recommendations and arrangements for identification and management of risks and produce an annual plan to address these areas.
- Report quarterly to the Senior Operational Team (SOT) on the annual review and plan.
- Attend the governance/Board of Trustees Finance and Audit Committee four times a year and produce a report for the meetings, including feeding back on learnings from internal audits carried out.

Overview / purpose of the role
We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Officer who is interested in developing a career in bookkeeping and/or accountancy within the nonprofit sector. Person specification
The right candidate will bring some prior experience in a relevant role, alongside enthusiasm for nonprofit finance and operations. They will have an aptitude for maths and finance, excellent attention to detail and a meticulous, methodical approach to work and troubleshooting.

Has 1–2 years of experience in a finance, bookkeeping, administrative, or operations role

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), is the only patient-led organisation in the UK specialising in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Due to its targeted focus on RA and JIA, NRAS provides truly expert and wide-ranging services to support, educate and campaign for people living with these complex autoimmune conditions, their families and the health professionals who treat them.
1. Main Purpose of Job
To drive referrals to and use of, NRAS services from NHS relationships across the UK.
Identify, build and maintain relationships with Rheumatology and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure relevant healthcare professionals are aware of the support that NRAS provides to people with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Adult Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.
To work with those healthcare professionals to maximise uptake of their referrals to our services.
Attend events around the UK and online to promote NRAS Services.
Support the I&SD Director and other senior team leaders to design, develop and implement new services and to reach new audiences for existing services.
2. Business development & Strategy
2.1. Identify, develop, and secure new opportunities for NRAS services within the NHS.
2.2. Create and implement business/service development strategies to expand the service user base, and service offering within NHS Rheumatology departments and connected healthcare teams.
2.3. Analyse market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and stay ahead of industry developments to recommend strategies for further growth of NRAS services.
3. Relationship development and management around the UK
3.1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential referrers or influencers and healthcare providers often travelling to attend clinic/location meetings.
3.2. Act as the primary point of contact for key referring organisations, ensuring referrer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services or project work.
3.3. Understand HCP needs, provide tailored solutions, and work closely with the project managers to ensure successful delivery.
4. Proposition and presentation development
4.1. Lead the creation of compelling proposals, and presentations to drive new service user volumes.
4.2. Work with internal teams to gather technical and operational input to develop competitive, high-quality proposals.
4.3. Present to referrers and influencers articulating NRAS’ value proposition, differentiators, and capabilities.
5. Project Management Oversight
5.1. Support senior/project managers in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with referrer and influencer expectations.
5.2. Monitor the progress of key projects, providing necessary updates to clients and senior management on milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.
5.3. Facilitate communication between referrers, internal teams, and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of projects.

6.1. Monitor the rheumatology service landscape, industry trends, new regulations and innovation.
6.2. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding potential strategic partnerships, services or new audiences.

Qualifications: A-level or qualified by experience
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience working in a similar environment such as charity/public sector or pharmaceutical etc. into NHS
- Health related services experience
- Proven track record of securing new business for service delivery
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to initiate, analyse, monitor and evaluate outcomes
- Experience of delivering at a senior level.
