About the Role

As the organisation continues to grow we are seeking an additional HR Administrator to join our Human Resources support team at Coram.

This multi-faceted HR administration role covers all parts of the employee lifecycle, along with opportunities to get involved in projects such as TUPE, well-being, and recruitment and retention strategies. You will work closely with one or more business partners to support specific entities within the Group and will play an integral role in providing an efficient and effective HR service that adds value to the wider organisation.

As our chief strategy and governance officer, you’ll report directly to the chief executive and play a key leadership role as part of Sense’s chief officers’ group. We’re looking for a strategic, innovative and proactive Communications and Marketing Lead to drive forward Save the Rhino’s communications across all touch points, delivering our ambitious five-year strategy. As a member of the Senior Management Team, this role is key to shaping our public voice, strengthening our organisation’s brand and driving greater awareness and engagement with rhino conservation.

This is a broad and influential role for an experienced communications and marketing professional to amplify our core conservation messaging alongside our fundraising campaigns. You will bring clear tactical vision and a deep understanding of how targeted communications can advance organisational reputation, support conservation goals and engage diverse audiences.

You’ll oversee all aspects of external communications including messaging, media, PR, digital, campaigns and brand. With a talent for storytelling and an eye for detail, you’ll be confident and experienced in turning complex information into accessible, compelling content. From writing press releases on the latest rhino news, to supporting successful fundraising campaigns, this role is ideal for someone who excels in strategic thinking as well as hands-on delivery. The Big Issue is looking to appoint to a critical role supporting our vendors. The Support and Outreach Worker will be a leading role in our belief of “A Hand Up Not a Hand Out”, and has been created to improve our service to vendors, helping them to increase their income through selling our magazine and providing casework support.
 
You will also positively promote The Big Issue in your local area, build partnerships with third-party organisations and identify and promote opportunities all with the aim of moving people out of poverty.
 
To offer our vendors the best possible support you will have experience and knowledge of working with vulnerable adults in a frontline setting, along with the ability to offer effective sales advice and guidance helping them to increase their income through magazine sales.

The Role
As the Deputy Team Leader (Court Services), working alongside Team Leaders you will be responsible for the delivery of the Witness Service within your court/s (as mentioned above).

You will share responsibility for the effective coordination and development of volunteers who support witnesses in their journey through the criminal justice system.

You will be responsible for general service administrative tasks within the courts, as well as inputting service data.

We are seeking an individual to undertake the dual role of promoting the profile of the RAF Benevolent Funds welfare offer, whilst also carrying out welfare casework. This is a community-based position working from home but covering the West Midlands: Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire.

Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process. 

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.

This is home based and the candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region covered. Occasional travel to London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.
