Job description

Regional Fundraising and Corporate Partnership Officer

Location: Remote
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: circa £35,500 per annum
Reporting to: Head of Fundraising
Term: Permanent

Aquilas is delighted to be partnering with a wonderful health charity that funds life-changing services and vital research to recruit an exciting newly created Regional Fundraising and Corporate Partnership Officer to join their ambitous fundraising team.

About the role:

To generate sustainable income and grow our community of supporters through regional fundraising campaigns, community fundraising, local trusts and corporates, and regional membership recruitment. This role also supports project-specific giving, ensuring alignment with our priority impact areas, such as raising awareness, patient services and glaucoma research.

This newly created role is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on building local relationships, developing meaningful partnerships, and generating income through regional fundraising, community engagement, and project-based giving.

As Regional Fundraising and Partnerships Officer, you’ll be joining our small but ambitious fundraising team, working alongside colleagues across the UK to build strong regional relationships and drive local fundraising activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building connections with regional corporates, trusts, and community groups
  • Developing and supporting local fundraising campaigns and events
  • Growing our regional membership and supporter base, helping people connect more deeply with our work
  • Sharing stories of impact to inspire giving and build long-term relationships with donors
  • Your ability to build relationships, spot opportunities, and tell compelling stories will be central to our success

About you:

You will bring proven experience in fundraising – whether community, corporate or trusts alongside strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll be confident writing compelling proposals and supporter communications, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and motivated by making a tangible difference through locally driven fundraising.
