In 2020, we closed one of the most successful fundraising campaigns in the UK’s higher education sector, which raised £624M and galvanised our community.  We have undertaken a strategic review of our programmes and are investing significantly in our team to deliver on the roadmap ahead.  We have created 2 new roles to continue leading key alumni engagement initiatives at UCL. This is an incredibly exciting time to join us as we plan for UCL’s biggest ever fundraising and engagement campaign, launching in our bicentenary year, 2026. 

In addition to a mature Regions team, we have created two further pillars – one to build stronger bridges across our Faculties and the other to develop and deliver a cohesive plan of engagement Programmes & Products for our alumni community.  We are now looking for two inspiring leaders to motivate newly formed teams of talented, creative and inspiring alumni engagement professionals who keep our 470,000+ alumni in 190 countries engaged and active within the global community.  You will both be responsible for the design and delivery of gold-standard alumni engagement programmes and experiences, thinking through how UCL shows up for our alumni, and how alumni can show up for UCL.  

As the Head of Alumni & Supporter Relations (Programmes & Products), you will lead a team of creative practitioners who are designing programmes and building products that speak to alumni of all ages and stages of their lives and engagement with UCL.  Your team will work closely with the Regions and Faculties teams, to gain insights and feedback and inform future programming and products.  You and your team will also work closely with our fundraisers, developing strategies and tactics to encourage volunteerism, advocacy and philanthropy in support of UCL.

For this role, we are seeking a creative marketing and engagement specialist – someone who has developed strategies to increase engagement across a wide spectrum of constituents.  A higher education / alumni relations background is helpful, however we’d also welcome hearing from specialists from within the membership, brand loyalty and customer experience arenas.

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional leader to lead on delivery of our community based support within the London Borough of Islington. These services include core IDVA teams and additional specialist roles, often supporting survivors at the point of crisis and highest risk. You will take a lead role in ensuring the high standards we set are achieved and identifying where and how we can make improvements. You will lead on development and maintenance of effective commissioning relationships and be able to identify and develop opportunities for service enhancement and growth. This role requires in person working, mostly at our Head office in Camden, which may vary or change depending on service demands.

About You

You will have leadership experience in a VAWG or other service delivery organisation which includes management of different service elements. You will be comfortable with managing risk and a calm, reflective operational leader able to support staff who are often working in crisis response mode.  You will have used your experience of working in a service delivery environment to identify and implement service improvements. You will have good data literacy and eye for detail, particularly around service utilisation and reporting.

Our Anti-Social Behaviour Team is a small, high performing team which deals with the above issues, along with our duties under Prevent, Modern Day Slavery, Hate Crimes and the Community Safety Partnership. About you
You will be working closely with our colleagues in our Housing Management team, the Police, Social Services and other partner agencies. We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team with direct case management expertise of handing complex cases involving anti-social behaviour, and domestic abuse or safeguarding – either with a local authority or a social housing provider. There is a lot of autonomy in this role and its best suited to a candidate that can work proactively on their own initiative handling a demanding caseload.

Royal Medical Benevolent Fund (RMBF) provide advice and financial assistance in the form of grants at times of crisis and hardship.  Our work is funded through a combination of donations, legacies and returns on our investments.

The Head of Finance & IT will manage the relationships with the three investment managers and the outsourced IT providers.  It is a varied role, combining the strategic with the hands-on.  It will suit a versatile individual who is happy to transition between multiple tasks.  No two days will be the same.  One moment you might be writing or reviewing Board papers, the next you might be managing an IT support call and then later on you might be rolling up your sleeves to post the final journal entries to complete the management accounts.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Finance

• Accurate, timely and user-friendly management accounts, cash flow projections and other relevant financial information, with associated recommendations where appropriate
• An annual budget and accompanying management commentary
• Draft statutory accounts which meet the latest SORP requirements, producing the audit file and being the lead contact for the Fund’s auditors during the annual external audit

• Successful leadership and development of the finance team

Information Technology

• Responsible for the development and implementation of the RMBF’s Information Technology strategy
• Management and development of an accurate, up to date, user-friendly database to provide relevant information to support all areas of the RMBF’s work including casework, fundraising and communications
• Cost effective development and use of IT within the Fund, to enable staff to make good use of IT for communication, record keeping and management information
• Managing the relationship with the Fund’s outsourced IT support companies.

Person Specification

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience
• Good understanding of charity SORP
• Experienced in preparing charity statutory accounts

ABOUT THE ROLE OF DIRECTOR

CDMT is the industry body for world-class professional schools, conservatoires and awarding organisations in the performing arts, and we are a strong advocate on behalf of the sector.

The Director of the CDMT plays a strategic role in performing arts training, education and assessment nationally and manages the staff and resources of an organisation of UK-wide standing. The CDMT is financed primarily by membership subscriptions. As this source of income is restricted, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate a strategic business sense and a successful income-driven record that will enable the CDMT to create, diversify and take full advantage of developing opportunities.

The Director must be able to liaise effectively with all sectors of the dance, drama, music and musical theatre education communities.  They will have wide knowledge and experience of arts education at all stages of development from entry level, through Further/Higher Education to post-graduate level, and will also require an understanding of qualification frameworks in the UK. Knowledge and experience of inspection and self-assessment mechanisms similar to those operated by the Office for Students, Ofsted and Ofqual, is desirable.

The role includes advocacy on behalf of the sector and requires an ability to offer support and advice to professional schools, conservatoires and awarding organisations as well as informing the thinking of regulators, civil servants and parliamentarians. This demands a high level of tact, diplomacy, professional understanding and tenacity as well as intellectual rigour and integrity.

Community Engagement Officer (part-time/2 or 3 days per week – fixed term contract of 12 months) for a small, growing community organisation based in East London.

The Southeast and East Asian Centre CIC (SEEAC) is a non-profit organisation registered as a community interest company that provides community-based support to members of the East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) communities, especially those underrepresented and marginalised migrants and refugees in the UK. Our website. This is a part-time role to lead SEEAC’s engagement with the East and Southeast Asian Communities. The Community Engagement Officer is responsible for reaching out, building and maintaining a solid network with community members, identifying and understanding communities’ needs, liaising and coordinating with other stakeholders who can provide relevant support and assistance, and supporting the development of communication materials for the communities. The post holder will work closely with members of the SEEAC staff team, volunteers and partners in organising and promoting community activities and disseminating information to the community members and relevant stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, you must have 2 or more years of demonstrated professional experience working in a community setting or a non-profit organisation involving social justice issues (as an employee or a volunteer) and strong organisational and administrative skills. We expect you to demonstrate proven ability to organise events and activities. You also need to have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safeguarding, data protection and confidentiality, as well as a good understanding of project planning and budgeting. You must be able to communicate fluently in English and, preferably with a command of at least one of ESEA languages. It would be beneficial if you have previously worked as part of a diverse team and have exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of quickly establishing good relationships to respond sensitively and confidentially to all stakeholders. We would also prefer you to have experience of working directly with ESEA communities or other minoritised, racialised or migrant communities and/or have good knowledge of ESEA cultures. Those with lived experience of the issues faced by migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum and/or their family members are encouraged to apply.

You will report to the Programme Manager and collaborate with all members of the staff. At times, you will liaise and collaborate with SEEAC’s stakeholders, such as volunteers and partner organisations, to design and convene activities that effectively support communities’ needs.

Flexible homework is offered in a hybrid setting, with in-person work based at the SEEAC office in East London. To create a better collaboration with other staff members and communities, SEEAC, however, require all staff members to work in the office or on-site occasionally as required. Depending on activities and event planned, the post requires occasional work in the evening and during weekends within contracted hours. Opportunities for skills development training are offered. This is a 12-month fixedterm contract, on a part-time of 3 or 2-days/week part-time (0.6 or 0.4 FTE) basis, for a January 2026 start. SEEAC’s full-time is 5 days per week (35hrs per week). Introduction

Herts Welcomes Refugees is at a transitional stage of its development, moving from a charity 
managed entirely by volunteers to one in which a small team of paid staff at its core facilitate and 
support the trustees to guide the work of the 170 or so volunteers. The staff team currently 
comprises a Volunteer Coordinator an IT Support Assistant and soon we will also be recruiting an 
Administrative Assistant. The Director will also work collaboratively with the (volunteer) 
Management Committee, the volunteer teams delivering services across the county and those 
volunteers providing support in key areas such as evaluation media and safeguarding.

Having come through a period of rapid development in the last four years, we now need to 
consolidate our knowledge and experience and further professionalise how we operate to ensure 
the sustainability and further development of the charity. Whilst committed to remaining a 
volunteer led charity, we need an energetic and experienced Director to support the trustees in
achieving our objectives and take the charity into the next phase of its development.

This brand-new senior role, which is being created as part of a new three-year funding programme by the
National Lottery Community Fund, is key to the next stage of our development. The postholder 
will need to be flexible in working with the Trustees, existing staff team and volunteers to help 
steer the charity through this transition. 

Main purposes of the job: 
1. To work with the trustees and volunteers in developing, supporting and facilitating the work of 
the charity and its volunteers to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, quality and consistency of 
the services provided to refugees and asylum seekers.
