Well Grounded runs a series of specialty coffee training academies across the country, which connects people looking for work with sustainable careers in the coffee industry. We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team, with great training and organisational skills.

About The Role

As the Progressions Officer you will work closely with the Regional Programme Lead in the Leeds area, taking care of programme related administration, delivery of training, and supporting the progression of individuals from recruitment through to employment. You will assist with 1-2-1 mentorship and employability training, ensuring trainees are supported and nurtured through training. You will support the Programme Lead to engage and recruit trainees onto our programmes working in partnership with the local community, and in ensuring trainees successfully complete their work placements. You will support wider organisational tasks such as communicating with trainees, ensuring monitoring forms are completed and keeping our internal systems up to date with trainee information. Safeguarding, monitoring and reporting are essential to this role.

Key tasks

• To support with employability training and mentorship of trainees (including CV coaching and interview preparation)

We're seeking a Freelance Women Off to Work (WOW) Employment & Training Officer to play a key role in engaging and recruiting local women onto this popular employability programme, and supporting them to access accredited and non-accredited training courses through inclusive outreach, programme support, co-design of training opportunities and workshops.

The role will also involve building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders (education, corporate, community partners) to enhance the programmes delivery and impact whilst also generating opportunities for women to gain both paid and unpaid work experience.

We are delighted to have been awarded funding by the National Lottery to deliver a third phase of our incredibly popular Women Off to Work (WOW) programme. Since 2017, WOW has supported hundreds of local women from predominantly Global Majority communities through holistic training and pathways into work programme.

WoW delivers a blend of life and vocational skills training, promoting general employability and improved wellbeing through work experience placements, internships, job brokerage, practical advice on self-employment and micro-businesses, ESOL classes and more. Overall purpose

We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to join our team to help us deliver partnership management to our corporate partners. Having expanded our services into Birmingham and Greater Manchester for the first time, fundraising and charitable activities with our corporate partners are a key area for growth to ensure that our organisational development is sustainable and permanent. The main purpose of the Partnerships Officer role is to support the Partnership Management team on the delivery of first-class account management to our portfolio of corporate partners. FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

This exciting post will be working with children who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. Focusing on standard and medium risk cases, this role will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people, whilst working proactively with other professionals, with an emphasis on early intervention and awareness raising.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables. 

This role may include evening and weekend work when required. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage a caseload of low to high risk children and young people, predominantly through face to face appointments but also utilising virtual technologies and group work.

• Plan, recruit and deliver group work interventions for children and young people alongside colleagues. 

• Complete an initial assessment of the child’s needs so that you can identify and plan the support needed to address issues and prevent any problems from escalating. 

• Assess the needs of the child and devise appropriate support and safety plans with due regard to the dynamic nature of risk. 

• Proactively engage with children and young people affected by DA/SV by providing therapeutic sessions tailed to their needs in where they are in their recovery journey.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

About the role

Reporting in to the Head of Multi-Country Cluster (MCC), the Operations Lead for the Latin America & Caribbean region is a member of the senior leadership team and provides strategic and representational leadership for the cluster on operational excellence, making things happen for programme colleagues and partners across multiple countries and connecting with other departments to facilitate programme and advocacy impact, aligning with organisational values and goals.

The post-holder will manage internal operations for effective programme delivery across the MCC, including ensuring that partners
(active, inactive, new) are supported with capacity assessments (POCRA), in line with Charter for Change commitments, and putting in place systems and procedures to ensure swift, compliant funding flows to partners in high-risk environments in line with Christian Aid’s risk appetite to maximise impact.

The role will ensure compliance to Christian Aid grant making policies though close cooperation with finance and partnership leads.

Christian Aid operates in Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Haiti within the Latin America and Caribbean region. 

Some of the main areas of responsibility for the Operations Lead will include:

• Drive our systems to enable better high-performance and delivery of strategy at MCC, aligning with organisational values and goals.

Job Summary

Advance’s Minerva service works with women and young women and girls involved in the Criminal Justice System offering safe, targeted support and advocacy to women to help them address their complex needs in relation to the 9 pathways to offending, such as substance misuse and financial difficulties, aiming to reduce re-offending, encourage desistance amongst repeat offenders, and empower women to live safe, crime free lives.

Working as a Service User Engagement Lead you will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of our service user engagement programme that will be a part of the Minerva service across London, including leading a team of CJS community champions and ambassadors and supporting in the oversight and delivery this programme across our 3 criminal justice services. In addition, this role requires you to build effective relationships with the criminal justice teams across London, and the regions alongside our partners and service users.

An integral part of the Service User Engagement Lead role will include delivering planned monthly supervision and ad-hoc supervision and having oversight of safeguarding and risk management for the CJS champions and ambassadors that you are working alongside. You will support the Senior Service Manager and Service Managers in delivering key information to keyworkers, in staff meetings and in day-to-day interactions to help promote the service user engagement programme.

You will lead your team and service while working collaboratively with fellow Advance managers and teams, external agencies and key stakeholders across London to provide a consistent and holistic service.

Key responsibilities and duties

• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes for champions and ambassadors including processing checks and welcome packs. Creating and supporting a positive culture of CJS Champions and ambassadors within the service
• To ensure the voice of service users is heard, valued and have influence throughout all areas of services, development design and delivery
• Supporting the CJS champions and ambassadors in post with their professional development
• Support with coproduction of projects across sites including coproduction space and service user activities, representing the views and opinions of those who access our services by leading on service user board meetings, focus groups and training sessions.
• Oversight of the welfare and wellbeing of CJS Champions and ambassadors
• Embed processes that enable you to engage with those who access our services, by listening to their views and asking for their feedback. Provide feedback and updates to those who access our services informing them of any changes and decisions.

• Participate in supervision, training and meetings as required and assist in the development of services in line with agreed development plans.
• Work collaboratively with the Service Managers to ensure that the work supporting women in the CJS is a coherent and well organised service, meeting regularly to communicate issues across the team and reporting achievements, challenges and proposed solutions.

You are an organised and empathetic individual with experience in supporting service user involvement and champion/ambassador programmes. You’re confident managing the full lifecycle of engagement - from recruitment and onboarding to professional development and exit processes - ensuring safeguarding and data protection protocols are followed at all times.

You have a strong understanding of co-production principles and are passionate about ensuring the voices of those with lived experience are heard, valued, and embedded in service design and delivery.

Your ability to build positive relationships enables you to effectively support the welfare and wellbeing of community champions and ambassadors, while also engaging wider staff and community networks to improve services.
