JOB PURPOSE
UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive team player who can join us as a Senior Officer, Direct Marketing, within the Individual Giving Team.
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for some of our key donor development activities: you will be a confident communicator and experienced project manager, with a strong knowledge of donor development key touchpoints and best practice, as well as a tracked record of managing telemarketing and Direct Mail campaigns

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead on the overall donor development offline programme for both cash and committed donors, ensuring a strong onboarding and onward journey is in place, and that key touchpoints are leveraged to deepen engagement and increase donors’ Lifetime Value.
- Work with digital fundraising colleagues to create integrated, multichannel campaigns and an effective, donor-first giving journey.
- Provide colleagues with strategic guidance, and technical support if required, to deliver warm appeals via Direct Mail that meet six-figures campaign targets.
- Manage our Telemarketing programme, to successfully launch and deliver activities such as conversion, upgrade, reactivation, and welcome calling.
- Ensure an insight-led thanking programme is in place, with key moments identified throughout the year to acknowledge support and communicate impact.
- Work with key stakeholders across digital and offline teams to ensure we maintain a strong retention rate whilst growing our Regular Giving file.
- Remain flexible and rapidly respond to emergency situations.
- Work with our Data team to identify the best approach to data and segmentation for each project.
- Manage production processes, developing supplier briefs and managing approval stages and end of campaign reviews.
- Work with our suppliers to ensure campaign fulfilment is in place and collaborate with our Supporter Care function to monitor responses and identify issues/opportunities.
- Ensure cost effective fundraising, manage individual campaign budgets and identify opportunities to improve ROIs.
- Stay up to date with issues affecting displaced & refugee communities, campaigns from international teams and reports from the field. Scope new fundraising themes.
- Share creative and insights with UK colleagues, global markets and HQ, participating in training seminars, workshops and international skill shares where applicable.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
Essential Experience
- Experience of working in a fundraising environment, ideally in a medium-to-big-size charity.
- Experience in managing onboarding and ongoing donor development activities.
- Experience of scoping, briefing in, managing, and delivering integrated fundraising campaigns that delivered against budget.
- Experience of managing Telemarketing campaigns with a tracked record of successes
- Strong experience in delivering and managing all aspects of successful Direct Mail campaigns.
- Understanding of digital fundraising best practice and how digital channels can integrate and support offline activities to increase donors’ Lifetime Value
- Experience of working with suppliers, including campaign planning and briefing.
- Experience of data file development (in collaboration with Data teams)

This is a highly creative role in a fast-moving and busy team and plays a vital part in meeting the organisation’s increasing demand for engaging and bespoke content.
The Design Assistant will work within the Creative Team, supporting the wider organisation to drive the continued growth of the charity’s brand awareness and income. The successful candidate will join the team at an exciting time, as the organisation is continuing to develop and embed it’s fresh new visual style and brand platform.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
· Support teams across the organisation by delivering high quality assets across a range of design disciplines – from printed brochures and posters to basic infographics and digital media.
· Work with other design team members to run the team’s workflow by keeping up-to-date with the request management tool, responding to colleagues, actioning feedback on jobs and communicating progress of tasks.
· Maintaining and organising ARUK’s creative assets within internal systems, ensuring assets are stored correctly and made available to others.

The Senior Individual Giving and Legacy Officer is responsible for building deeper relationships with some of our most committed supporters. This is an exciting role with opportunities to further develop our expanding Gifts in Wills, in-memory and mid-value programs. It also has oversight of our multi-channel cash appeals program which sets out to generate income from our base of committed supporters.
The role is managed by the Individual Giving and Legacy Manager but will work closely with all of Public Fundraising alongside other key internal stakeholders. The Senior IG and Legacy Officer will also be responsible for fostering relationships with various external agency partners.

About the Role
With the support of your manager, you will deliver our Reconnect, mediation and family support service across Manchester. The role focuses on reducing family breakdown and preventing youth homelessness by supporting young people and families at key moments. You will manage a caseload of clients, including those in school, staying temporarily with volunteer hosts, or living in our accommodation services.
You will provide tailored guidance and mediation to young people aged 11–25 and their families, helping to improve communication, reduce conflict and strengthen relationships. This will involve one-to-one sessions, joint mediation and wider family support. You will also ensure the safe day-to-day running of the service, maintain accurate records, and contribute to our national prevention team to shape best practice in family and mediation work.
Key Deliverables
- Work directly with young people aged 11–25 and their families, delivering personalised guidance, mediation and support
- Carry a caseload of 15–20 clients per full-time equivalent, acting as the named keyworker
- Process referrals from agencies to build and maintain a full caseload
- Complete risk assessments, needs assessments, change plans and outcome questionnaires with clients
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues, local agencies and statutory bodies to promote the service and support young people holistically
- Maintain clear, accurate and timely records in line with monitoring and evaluation requirements
- Support safeguarding procedures and advocate for young people and families where necessary
- Take part in networking, service promotion and collaborative work with schools and professionals

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Events & Marketing Coordinator will play an essential role in delivering high-impact engagement activities and supporting the wider work of RABI’s Marketing and Communications team. Reporting to the Events & Engagement Manager, you’ll help coordinate the charity’s presence at a wide range of events -including agricultural shows, external affairs engagements, conferences and community activities, ensuring a consistently professional and compelling presence across England and Wales. You will play a key part in engaging with supporters, volunteers, ambassadors and the public, representing RABI with warmth and professionalism.
The role will also help collate and provide valuable marketing and content support, including supporting the capturing of photography and video for use on digital channels, assisting with the development of volunteer and ambassador case studies, and supporting CRM data collection and engagement surveys. This is an exciting, hands-on, outward-facing role suited to an organised, creative and personable team player.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Coordination and Delivery
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of national and regional events including agricultural shows, external affairs events, volunteer engagement activities and community outreach initiatives.
- Support event logistics such as venue booking, catering, AV, signage, promotional materials, staffing, travel, and health and safety compliance.
- Coordinate post-event evaluation, collecting feedback, attendance data, and impact measures to inform future planning.

Marketing and Promotional Support
