Founded in 1982, Galop has been championing the safety of the LGBT+ community for over 40 years. The charity works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. They run four national support helplines: for victims and survivors of domestic abuse, survivors of so-called “conversion therapy”, survivors of rape and sexual violence, and LGBT+ people who have experienced hate crime. They provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for victims who need longer-term support. They are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of the community are at the centre of what they do.
This role is offered on a full-time permanent contract basis paying a salary between £41,534 to £44,749 (including Inner London Weighting of £4,009) per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.
The charity started investing in Individual Giving in October 2023, with some key foundation building and early fundraising activity having taken place since then. This role aims to develop and secure a diverse range of funding streams to deliver their ambitious fundraising growth plans over the next 3 years. The post holder will work with the Head of Fundraising and Comms to grow their income from individuals, to ensure the long-term stability of the charity, helping them to deliver support to as many victims and survivors of abuse as possible.
They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of developing and managing individual giving strategies with demonstrable success in growing income. What the job involves
We’re seeking a Website Content Officer to join our Integrated Marketing and Media team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in managing and improving the content on our website, making sure it’s clear, accessible and meets the needs of our diverse audience.
Acting as the ‘voice of the user’, you’ll be responsible for publishing updates via our content management system (CMS), maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and accessibility across the site. You’ll oversee key areas, including the homepage, keeping information accurate, up to date, and easy to navigate.
You’ll work closely with teams across the Prostate Cancer UK to help shape their messages for the web, offering advice, guidance, and training where needed. Day to day, you’ll manage content schedules, review pages to identify improvements, and create or edit content to keep the site fresh and effective. You’ll also use digital analytics tools to monitor performance and suggest ways we can enhance the user experience.
As part of the Digital Marketing and Channels team, you’ll work closely with our email and social media teams to ensure our owned channels are aligned. You’ll lead on the delivery of our regular ‘News and Views’ articles in conjunction with our Strategic Communications team, and you’ll work closely with our Web Operations team to help identify and test new website features and fix technical issues.

As an Employee Relations Adviser, you will provide advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of HR issues, including performance management, conduct, absence, capability, grievance, and structural changes. Collaboration is central to the role: you will work closely with colleagues within the ERA team, as well as with Resourcing, People Business Partners, Finance, Safeguarding and HR Admin teams.
Essential Skills and Criteria:
- Solutions-focused approach, with the ability to adapt your style to suit varied situations and provide pragmatic, relevant advice and options to managers.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience coaching managers considered advantageous.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification, or working towards this, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
- Strong, up to date, knowledge of UK employment law.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and confidence in managing virtual meetings.
- Ability to facilitate and lead virtual HR meetings, ensuring discussions run smoothly and professionally.

Additional Information:
- You will be home based but may be dual located if you live near a suitable RSPB office.

About the role

Purpose of the job
This role is responsible for the design of UK Youth’s support to young people, youth organisations and youth workers. This could include structured youth work programmes, funding and grants+ programmes, professional development programmes, and campaigns.
You will lead and oversee end-to-end design processes, ensuring that UK Youth develops fully packaged offers that respond to the evidence base and people’s needs, drive forward our strategy and achieve incredible impact. You will work across UK Youth teams, with external design partners, and meaningfully involving young people and the professionals who support them in the design process.
You will be experienced in developing high quality funding propositions (proactively and in response to new business opportunities). You will be confident in taking a human-centred design approach to tackle some of the youth sector’s knottiest problems. You will design solutions to important problems, ensuring that they are feasible, equitable, impactful and scalable.
In 2026, our priority topics for youth work programmes and network development are: mental health and wellbeing, employability, social cohesion and community safety.
As a leader, you will work closely with research, evaluation, policy, service delivery, network development, and fundraising teams. The Role

The Candidate
Demonstrable experience of successfully securing a programme of six figure+ gifts from trusts & foundations.
Demonstrable experience of personally writing compelling proposals that have led to significant gifts.
Experience of personally managing productive relationships with existing major funders (at the six figure+ level).
Ideally previous line management experience.
