The role oversees the operations of a full range of facilities owned by CMS, to be used flexibly for strategically driven services in relation to CMS’s vision and values. We require someone who develops and builds strong team relationships throughout the organisation, as well as with a small team of direct reports. We aim to offer a facilities service which is customer focused, professional and unobtrusive. Delivery of a quality service, which will embody the level of hospitality and welcome consistent with the CMS ethos, is a primary performance measure.

Your relationships

· Line management responsibility for the CMS House supervisor and conferencing and reception assistant.

Your responsibilities

Conferencing and reception

· Line management of a team of two staff: the CMS House supervisor and conferencing and reception assistant

· Ensuring team development to nurture a culture of welcome and customer service, while ensuring tasks are completed

· Giving direct support to the team, providing cover on reception and help for major events happening in the CMS House building

· Support the Director of Finance and Corporate Services in setting of policies and guidelines for the use of the CMS House building and for hiring of conference facilities to include rates, publicity, balance of use by internal/external people.

Facilities management

· Monitoring the contracted services for the supply of utilities (gas, electricity, water, etc) and selected services (windows, pest control, hygiene, refuse collection)

· Arranging and supervising building maintenance contracts - lifts, air conditioning, fixed equipment electrical testing, fire alarms, CCTV and others - and minor repairs as required. Renegotiating contracts as needed, involving the director of finance and corporate services and the CMS legal advisor as required.

· Maintain the performance of building services, optimising maintenance regimes and proposing improvements

· Liaise with existing tenants. Work with agency appointed by CMS to arrange marketing of the surplus office space and work with the CMS legal advisor on the tenancy agreements.

· Managing other properties owned by CMS (2025: three houses and two flats) which are let or licensed for occupation to employees and former mission partners, advising on maintenance as required

· Manage the maintenance of the pooled car fleet

Health and safety

· Responsible for the co-ordination of health and safety policy for the whole organisation, working with the support of consultants where required

· Maintain the building to meet health and safety legal compliance

· Carrying out daily and weekly checks as needed, e.g. fire alarm, water safety

· Arrange training of first-aiders, fire wardens and oversee fire drills

Other

· Flexibility with working hours as required e.g.: co-ordination of some maintenance out of hours to ensure minimal disruption and communication with contracts

· Manage the facilities budget and related invoice and expense administration

· Contribute to the Creation Care group in relation to the use of the building and car fleet

· Other reasonable duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Director of Finance and Corporate Services

The Senior Psychologist will lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions for service users with complex trauma presentations. As a clinical specialist, you will provide expert assessment, formulation, and intervention, ensuring that psychological care is tailored to the needs of asylum seekers and refugees.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Duration: 12 months FTC, with possibility of 3-year extension (subject to project funding)

Location: Birmingham/Sandwell (5-day in-person role working in the project clinic)

Salary: £52,866.48 - £64,614.57 per annum

Job Purpose:

A key aspect of the role is clinical leadership, including supervision and training for psychologists, assistant psychologists, and caseworkers to ensure psychological principles inform all aspects of service delivery. The postholder will drive the integration of trauma-informed practices, contribute to clinical governance, and support outcome monitoring. They will also play a pivotal role in supporting pathways for stabilisation and trauma-focused therapy.

Working closely with the Mental Health Activity Manager (MHAM) to uphold clinical standards, the Senior Psychologist will focus on the direct provision and supervision of psychological interventions, rather than broader operational and service management functions. Additionally, they will engage with external stakeholders to promote best practices in psychological care and facilitate seamless referral pathways.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Knowledge:

• Doctorate in Clinical/ Forensic/ Counselling Psychology with HCPC registration.
• Further advanced training in relevant specialist treatment delivery (e.g. CBT, EMDR, NET)
• Advanced expertise in complex trauma, PTSD, and comorbid mental health conditions, particularly in refugee and asylum-seeking populations.
• In-depth understanding of trauma-informed care models, stabilization techniques, and stepped-care approaches.
• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based trauma therapies, including TF-CBT, EMDR, NET, and third-wave approaches.
• Strong working knowledge of safeguarding policies, risk assessment protocols, and ethical guidelines (e.g., HCPC, BPS, NICE guidelines).
• Understanding of mental health policy, advocacy, and service commissioning within humanitarian and third-sector settings.

Skills:

• Highly developed clinical assessment, formulation, and treatment planning skills for complex cases.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and clinical supervision abilities to support junior psychologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• High-level risk assessment and crisis intervention competencies.
• Strong interdisciplinary teamwork, with the ability to liaise effectively with external agencies and humanitarian stakeholders.
• Proficiency in research, audit, and data-driven service evaluation to support evidence-based practice.
• Highly developed skills in effectively communicating complex, ethically sensitive, and clinically relevant information both orally and in writing to clients, their families, carers, and professional colleagues across different healthcare and humanitarian settings.

Experience:

• At least three years of post-qualification experience, with significant experience delivering trauma-focused therapy.
• Experience providing clinical leadership and supervision to Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, or trainees.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-risk and complex clinical cases.
• Strong record of multidisciplinary team collaboration and policy engagement.
• Experience working with refugees, asylum seekers, or survivors of trafficking and torture.
• Research, service evaluation, or policy development experience.
• Prior work in humanitarian, NGO, or third-sector organisations would be an asset to the role
• Experience in the practical use of personal IT equipment and Microsoft Office 365 suite. The ability to effectively collaborate and communicate within a hybrid working environment utilising Teams, SharePoint, One Drive and Yammer.

About the role

We are looking for a self-driven, highly motivated team player to join our HR department. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this postholder will work closely with the two HR People Partners. The post holder will lead and manage all formal employee relations cases whether it be disciplinaries, grievances or complaints. They will also Project manage and deliver on HR projects including the development of new initiatives and HR policy updates.

Responsibilities

• To lead and manage employee relations activity across the charity by working closely with the key stakeholders.
• To provide guidance and advise senior managers in line with MSSC policies, employment legislation and ACAS Code of Practice regarding complex HR situations.
• To lead and take notes at all MSSC disciplinaries, grievances and formal complaints to support the process. These could include conduct, performance management/capability, absence management. grievances, bullying and harassment, discrimination, whistleblowing etc. 
• Ensure appropriate documentation of cases including file notes, correspondence, accurate meeting minutes etc, ensuring their employee file is kept up to date and organised.
• To provide support to the HR People Partners on broader ER issues, if necessary, such as absence management/OH referrals, performance management/PIPs.
• To support and assist the Director of HR and the team on a range of HR projects and initiatives.
• To develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures and guidance documents, ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
• Manage the appraisal process including launch communications, monitoring completions and reviewing forms for any ER issues and logging training needs.
• Lead the annual staff survey launch and collation and analysis of data.
• To cover for the Director of HR and other team members as required.

About the role

As our Temporary Finance Manager, you will be managing a finance assistant and will be part of our organisation’s Senior Leadership Team, helping to collaboratively shape and steer the charity as we work towards our 2022-2027 strategy. The Organisation

The Winchester Diocesan Board of Finance (WDBF) is a Charitable Company established under the Diocesan Boards of Finance Measure 1925. All dioceses of the Church of England are required to have a Diocesan Board of Finance (DBF) to act as the link between the episcopal, synodical, and secular governance and leadership structures.

The WDBF’s principal object is to promote, assist and advance the work of the Church of England in the Diocese of Winchester, by acting as the financial executive of the Winchester Diocesan Synod.

The Data and Statistics Analysist will play a vital role in supporting the parishes and communities of our Diocese through the collection, analysis, and management of data and statistics in connection with congregations, finances, and community impact. About the Role

This is a really exciting time to join CHIPS (Christian International Peace Service) as we approach our 60th anniversary — with deep roots in peacemaking and a fresh vision for the years ahead. We’ve recently launched a new organisation-wide strategy, and we’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Programme Manager to lead its implementation within our Brixton project.

You’ll be stepping into a unique and influential role, responsible for shaping and growing our work in South London. As the Programme Manager, you will oversee our team in Brixton — including the Family Support Coordinator, the Connection Builder (Youth and Comms), and a group of dedicated Sessional Youth Workers. You’ll bring strategic direction, strong leadership, and hands-on oversight to ensure the programme remains responsive, relational, and transformative.

You’ll be joining a young and vibrant team committed to building peace and hope in some of the hardest places. This role will stretch and challenge you — but it will also offer huge opportunities for personal and professional growth. The Role

To help bring the charity’s vision to life globally, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations and Grants Officer. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the International Mission team in strategic initiatives. Working closely with the International Operations Manager and the Head of Global Relationships, you will provide critical operational support, which includes ensuring compliance and stewardship in grant-making to Societies worldwide. In addition to facilitating the grant management processes, you will provide essential operational assistance for projects and events aligned with the strategic goal to mobilise a global movement for Bible engagement.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting time to join our charity: Cambridge is changing rapidly, and we are working hard to tackle issues such as the loss of nature, climate change and access to green space. We have inspiring new projects to expand habitats and green spaces on the Gog Magog Hills, to create a new wetland at our Coton Reserve, to plant trees and woodlands and to save one of Cambridge’s oldest buildings. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to help us increase our income from mid-level and major donors, trusts and foundations, and legacies.

Committed to our causes, you will use your donor cultivation skills to strengthen existing relationships and use your research and networking skills to identify and cultivate new opportunities. Your excellent written and development skills will enable you to work with colleagues to turn their visions into compelling proposals for funders and our wider support base.
