Flynne’s Barn is a charity supporting young people living with cancer. We offer residential stays in the Lake District, bringing young people with a shared experience of cancer together to build community. During a stay we offer a range of outdoor and creative activities. We aim to provide the space for young visitors to relax, find friendship and to build confidence in a safe, supportive context. We also provide an online/telephone counselling service for young people and their families.

How you will make a difference

As Senior Programme Officer, I will support the Head of Commercial Insight & Development to ensure Mental Health UK delivers high quality projects and programmes that:

We are seeking an Exhibitions and Collections Projects Manager to join the Crafts Council on a permanent basis. This is a vital role in the Public Programmes team to oversee the maintenance and development of Crafts Council Collections and the delivery of key temporary exhibitions.

Reporting to the Senior Collections and Programme Manager, this role will ensure the Crafts Council Collections are documented and preserved to a high standard for future generations. They will also support the strategic development of the Crafts Council’s programme, managing relationships with external commercial partners, artists and institutions, overseeing project budgets and timelines and contributing to reporting and evaluation frameworks.

Main Duties

• Lead dynamic teams of casual assistants, freelance technicians, designers, conservators and photographers as required
• Facilitate accessibility of the Crafts Council Collections including Primary, Handling, Archive, Oral Histories and Library. Leading on both online accessibility via Collections Online and ensuring the collection is available to its audiences physically
• Ensure maximum impact from National Lottery Heritage Funded project 'Craft for the People' Is achieved, ensuring crafts council collection is available to a wider amount of people and is more resilient
• Oversee management of upcoming loans, arranging object transportation, entry and exit processes, loan agreements, mounting and conservation, where needed
• Lead on loans marketing and collections income generation projects

• Review and improve collections storage processes, embed collections trust benchmarks in security, building management system for temperature and humidity control, pest and disaster management

Core Responsibilities:

• Scope, commission, and manage evaluation projects to generate actionable evidence for commissioning and service delivery, ensuring effective supplier, project management, and contractor relationships

• Collate evaluation and programme data for organization-level impact reports

Candidate:

You will be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing research and evaluation projects
• Strong understanding of evaluation techniques, including expertise in commissioning various evaluation approaches, including process, quantitative impact, and theory-based evaluations
• Experience in developing procurement materials and briefing external suppliers, managing research commissions, and ensuring quality and compliance with financial and contractual requirements
• Proven ability to draft research materials, analyse data, and produce high-quality outputs (quantitative and qualitative)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from a range of sources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, skilled in communicating research findings to both internal teams and external audiences, including non-researchers

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of the effective delivery of the Creating Community Connections Pilot, ensuring the successful delivery of the pilot project, balancing the demands of supporting the various partnerships between funders, providers, and stakeholders to collectively deliver the required impact and ensure contract compliance.

Creating Community Connections is a three-year Domestic Abuse (DA) pilot Project, funded by HMPPS. The project is led by a partnership of women’s centre providers - Women in Prison, Anawim, Together Women, and Nelson Trust and aims to connect women in prisons with vital specialist community support services across the country, especially women's centres and organisations providing support around DA. By connecting prisons and women in custody to a network of local women’s services, we hope to aid resettlement and support engagement with holistic support to meet women’s needs, address root causes of offending, improve outcomes on release and intercept cycles of trauma, disadvantage, and abuse, with a particular focus on DA services. The project will ultimately support women who have experienced domestic abuse and work with them so that their experiences do not negatively influence their opportunity of successful resettlement back into the community.

Team Administrator (Philanthropy, Partnerships & Commercial)

Battersea is entering an exciting phase of innovation and transformation as we embark on the first year of our new five-year strategy. With increased investment in income generation starting in 2025, we are expanding our team to drive the growth necessary to achieve our organisational goals. Our Income Generation team bridges the journey of the animals in our care with the wider public, demonstrating how their contributions enable us to support every dog and cat. In addition, we are embarking on a transformative journey with our Launchpad Programme – a major cross-organisational initiative to consolidate all customer and animal data into one integrated system. As part of this ambitious project, we are creating new roles to ensure that our Income Generation operations are fully represented and embedded in the design of the future system.

This is a new role working across Battersea’s Income Generation department, in particular, Philanthropy, Partnerships and Commercial (PP&C). This new role will provide effective EA support to the Head of PP&C, and to the Senior Corporate & Commercial Manager and the Senior Philanthropy & Trusts Manager). This role will manage external and internal communication to and from the Head of PP&C and the senior managers. You will also provide a range of administrative and co-ordination support to the wider PP&C team.

Are you interested in joining an International Development Charity to work on its individual giving programme? If so, you will be joining at an exciting time for Mothers’ Union, as we prepare to celebrate our 150th anniversary in 2026.

Founded in 1876, Mothers’ Union is a women-led volunteer movement, with a membership of 4 million people around the world, 36,000 of whom live in the UK and Ireland. Based on Christian fellowship, members express their faith through action in their local communities, aiming to create a world where every individual can reach their full potential, by stopping poverty, injustice and violence.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To be responsible for the implementation and day to day project management of the individual giving programme across both existing and new fundraising products, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, members, volunteers and internal teams across Mothers’ Union to ensure the success of the appeals. As part of a small team you will be working closely with and under the direction of the Head of Individual Giving.

Key Responsibilities:

• To project manage multiple appeals delivering accurate campaigns on time, on budget to a high standard, meeting agreed targets.
• Analyse and interpret direct marketing campaign results, and produce regular reports, drawing conclusions, completing campaign reviews and making recommendations to improve future activity such as targeting and testing suggestions to improve performance of the programme and feed into longer term strategic plans.
• Ensure all materials produced are accurate and compliant with relevant data protection and gift aid legislation (where applicable). Undertaking all activities in line with best practice standards and processes as set out by the IoF, Fundraising Regulator and any other bodies as prompted by the Head of Individual Giving.
• Write campaign briefs including campaign objectives, creative, digital, print and production briefs, feeding into decisions on creative approaches, copy and all technical aspects of the direct marketing programmes
• Write or amend existing copy and proof-read accurately. Critique, manage and evaluate work by external or internal agencies to a high standard and high level of accuracy
• Lead contact for our face to face fundraising activity, from briefing, monitoring and reconciliation to delivering training and fulfilling requests, including coordination of visits to Mother's Union projects
• Lead on any challenge events or wider individual DIY fundraising or organisational  income generating events as assigned, meeting agreed targets set by the Head of Individual Giving.
• Monitoring, managing and reporting of key KPIs including campaign income, spend and other performance metrics on a regular basis. Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, highlighting variances and updating fundraising team reports making sure information is accurate and reconciled where necessary.
• Designing and delivering targeted training programmes for groups of fundraisers or members on behalf of Mothers’ Union as well as providing effective one-to-one campaign support as required.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

The postholder will translate complex legal issues into compelling, clear writing, and believe in the power of communication to change minds and build broad support for policy change.

The postholder will communicate JUSTICE’s work to our key audiences using press, digital media, and printed publications, and will report to the Head of Communications. Responsibilities include working with journalists to gain coverage, managing our website and social media accounts, and producing printed materials. You will play a key role in communicating our work and improving engagement with our members and supporters.

We want someone who can learn and grow in this role so if you are a strong writer who is organised and passionate about our work but don’t have every skill listed, we’d still like to hear from you.
