This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, which you can choose to work over five days or a 9 day fortnight.

About the Role
The Philanthropy Lead joins an energised and committed major gifts team covering trusts and major donors. You will have significant ambitions for developing and sustaining relationships with new and existing donors giving up to seven figure gifts.
This role is key to leading excellent stewardship of donors and the management of the recently re-launched 1766 Circle of benefactors. You will ensure that the organisation communicates the impact of it’s work by creating a compelling and thoughtful stewardship plan. You will then deliver excellent communications and touch points with some of the closest supporters to ensure they feel connected to and inspired by the charity.
Ultimately the role will lead ACT’s philanthropy stewardship programme through establishing slick systems, sympathetic and thoughtful donor engagement and a pragmatic approach to project management.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have high standards of personal communication (written and oral); an excellent attention to detail; experienced in managing timelines of projects; and you will need to be a kind and professional team colleague. About the role:
The Philanthropy & Events Executive will support our Philanthropy Lead and Managing Director to effectively manage existing match funding partner (“Champion”) relationships, and help to develop new Champion relationships. About the role:
We are looking for two exceptional Senior Philanthropy Managers – Health to join our Fundraising & Supporter Development (F&SD) team to significantly increase philanthropic income for health fundraising priorities across King’s College London (KCL). About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this post plays a key role in securing and stewarding major gifts from individuals and private trusts and foundations. The role will involve attending cultivation and stewardship events as well as liaising with the prospect research function and wider Philanthropy team. We are looking for a Philanthropy Manager for an 18 month contract, to join an inspiring health charity to identify, engage and steward a mix of cold and warm philanthropists, senior volunteers and prospects.
This is a London based hybrid role with flexible home working options.

The Role
Deliver the teams business plan and contribute to the achievement of strategic aims and priorities
Lead on raising income through account management of an appropriate portfolio of individuals
Manage three Philanthropy Officers, overseeing performance and development
Lead on building, updating and generating a portfolio of philanthropists and pipeline to raise philanthropy income
The Candidate
Working knowledge of the principles of high value / major gift / philanthropy fundraising
Extensive experience of personally securing five and six figure major gifts from individuals in a charity environment.
Experience of creating successful bespoke proposals or asks for philanthropists or other potential high value donors.
Experience leading and managing fundraising staff.

Developing and implementing a trusts and foundations strategy for the Francis Crick Institute, maximising the broad range of fundraising opportunities the Crick offers
Driving and developing funding proposals and stewardship reports to an excellent standard in collaboration with science engagement colleagues
Maximising gift opportunities to deliver against agreed targets and objectives. Providing regular reporting and metrics against goals to support portfolio reviews and ensure the portfolio remains on track to deliver organisational goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at the Francis Crick Institute and CRUK, including academics, researchers, and institutional leaders along with our philanthropy services and science engagement teams.
What skills are we looking for?
Extensive experience of successfully soliciting gifts from trusts and foundation at five and six-figure level.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complex environments and competing priorities.
Proven track record of trust and foundation fundraising in the not-for-profit sector, ideally in a research environment and/or large organisation.
Have a "can do" attitude and a demonstrated ability to problem solve. Ability to apply past experience of trust fundraising to anticipate potential challenges and address them quickly.

Samaritans is on a mission to make a profound impact on suicide prevention and they need a new Senior Philanthropy Manager and their expertise to drive the philanthropy programme to new heights.
The Senior Philanthropy Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership to the Philanthropy programme to enable a step change and growth in income. Working with the Assistant Director of Business Development, you will lead on all major donor acquisition, cultivation and stewardship programmes and involving Samaritans Senior Leadership Group and Income Heads of Teams where appropriate. The selected candidate will have substantial experience of fundraising with a strong track record in major gift fundraising and experience of personally soliciting gifts of five and six figure gifts from major donors. You will ideally have experience working with mid-value programmes and a proven track record of managing key relationships at a high level.
