The Role
Deliver end to end planning and event day activities for both virtual and face to face events within the high-value (10k-1m) events portfolio. This includes identifying potential venues/virtual platforms, working across the department to build invitation lists, developing content based on strategic priorities, producing high-level invitations and supporting collateral, overseeing event technology, briefing speakers and senior staff, securing auction lots, and undertaking post-event evaluations and reporting .
Source and oversee external suppliers and contractors as required to deliver events e.g. logistics, venue, entertainment, catering, design and creative and negotiate all costs, contracts and in-kind partnerships where appropriate.

The Candidate

As a result of these findings, we collaborated with an additional group of young people to co-create Power UP! – a whole framework of opportunities providing training, mentorship, internships, youth associate roles and trusteeships to ensure youth voices are central to shaping decisions in both our organisation and in Westminster as a whole.

• YEP! - 3-month engagement and skills development programme that uses external facilitators to help develop young participants skills in key areas of YWF's work.

The Health Collective Community Manager will be responsible for managing the development, expansion, and sustainability of the Health Collective.

This role will focus on managing and growing the existing community of members, organising and facilitating regular meetings, content creation for the Health Collective, coordinating the development of a unique identity for the group, and establishing an online community forum.

Main Duties

Community Engagement & Growth

• Actively manage and grow the online and offline community, recruiting new members from all marginalised communities and fostering a sense of trust and connection.
• Design and manage regular communications with members, updating them about upcoming HC events/meetings, news/policy relevant to the inequalities agenda and funding/research opportunities.
• Set up and run a virtual community for members and monitor and moderate community interactions to ensure a positive and respectful environment.

• Work with a designer and members to create the Health Collective's logo and identity.

Event Coordination

• Plan, organize, and manage virtual and in-person health collective meetings, liaising with members to determine the agenda and experts to find a diverse range of speakers.
• Collaborate with external partners to enhance event quality and reach.

Monitoring, evaluation & reporting

• Record and monitor the Collective’s activities (output) and their effectiveness (impact) through data collection, surveys, interviews and case studies.
• Report on project progress and update the Wellbeing of Women team regularly.
• Report on project progress to National Lottery at least twice a year with information about the Collective’s outputs and impact along with an expenditure budget for the period
• Work with an external consultant to assess the Collective’s impact annually.

Advocacy

• Work with the Head of Comms and Campaigns to build relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and organisations aligned with the collective’s mission.
• Monitor news and political developments relevant to the Health Collective’s work.

The Senior Licensing Officer (SLO) will support the Licensing Manager with ensuring charity and network contract compliance, which includes policy management, contract updates, supporting procedures and IT infrastructure, and associated reporting.

The SLO will manage and deliver complex and significant projects to manage risk and ensure adherence and compliance. They will also maintain project deliverables once adopted into business as usual and provide contract and policy support to staff at all levels within the charity.

We are looking for:

• Strong knowledge in policy and/or contract management
• strong knowledgeof end-to-end project management, from development through implementation to evaluation, including project planning, risk management, governance, etc.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at every level internally and externally.
• A quick learner, with the ability to comprehend complicated principles and structures
• Proven ability to interpret and evaluate complex information to identify problems and deliver high quality solutions
• Able to work independently, flexibly, and be pro-active, using initiative to complete project work in a timely manner

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Experience of planning and executing purpose-driven digital & offline fundraising campaigns.

Specific responsibilities include day-to-day finances and bill paying, budget development, daily and long-term upkeep of facilities, general administration, HR, and project management.  Problem solving is a significant requirement of the position.   The successful candidate should be able to anticipate needs, evaluate solutions, and resolve problems that arise within the branch.
