The Community Energy Adviser will deliver energy support sessions in local communities, empowering individuals and families through workshops and one-to-one support. Barts Health NHS Trust provides maternity and neonatal care for women and birthing people and their babies each year, providing all aspects of obstetrics and midwifery care in our labour ward, midwife-led birth centre and home birthing service.
NEL Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) listens to the experiences of women, birthing people and families, and brings together service users, staff and other stakeholders to plan, review and improve maternity and neonatal care. MNVPs ensure that service users’ voices are at the heart of decision-making in maternity and neonatal services by being embedded within the leadership of provider trusts and feeding into the Local Maternity and Neonatal System and Integrated Care Board. About the role
As a member of our helpline team, you will provide emotional support and practical guidance to individuals in need, responding to calls, emails, and web chats. You will support individuals who have experienced various forms of violence and abuse, including domestic violence, hate crimes, sexual violence, and so-called conversion therapies. Your role will involve offering a compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic ear to those reaching out for help, while carefully assessing each situation to determine the appropriate level of support. You will conduct risk assessments, provide safeguarding assistance, assist with safety planning, signposting, and, when necessary, support with referring individuals on to the right services, always ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
About you
We are seeking a candidate with experience in providing trauma-informed support to victims and survivors. The ideal candidate will possess strong resilience, a commitment to self-care, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of LGBT victims and survivors. You will be able to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and a proactive approach in offering emotional and practical support, while ensuring a safe and empowering environment for those in need.
There is a genuine occupational requirement under the Sexual Orientation Regulations 2003 for this post. It is considered essential that post holders have experience of LGBT needs, and impact of discrimination as the Helpline is run for LGBT victim/survivors of violence and abuse.

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the strategic delivery of Care4Calais’ operational (direct aid provision) work across all regions. This is quite a newly created role that will play a central part in shaping the charity’s growth, resilience, and day-to-day effectiveness—ensuring our humanitarian aid reaches those who need it most.
The COO will work closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, and Trustees, to develop internal systems, guide operational teams, maintain consistency across all projects, and strengthen our digital communications, training, safeguarding, and volunteer engagement. You will also play a key leadership role in fostering innovation, implementing policy, and coordinating multi-regional delivery across the UK and Northern France.

We are working in partnership with a Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Corporate Fundraiser. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters.
The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and partners, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. Key responsibilities will include prospect research and new business development, compelling proposal and proposition creation, account management and event and campaign planning. The role will be hands on, focused on operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.
This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.
