Our 2030 strategy commits the RSPB to becoming more relevant to the communities and supporters we work with by involving a more diverse range of people. Recognising that people are at the heart of delivering our ambitions, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented person to join as Senior Accessibility Specialist. Reporting to the Head of EDI, and as part of the EDI leadership team, you’ll hold close relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation. You’ll work collaboratively to support the transformation in behaviours and skills needed to make the RSPB a more accessible and equitable place for all.

The role does have flexibility to shape and innovate but will be focused on the continuation and delivery of two main priorities:

1. Working with our nature reserve teams to implement accessibility improvements that make our spaces more inclusive for Staff, Volunteers and Visitors
2. Working with Communications and Learning and Development teams, internal networks and other stakeholders, to deliver better experiences for our disabled workforce from the point they apply for a role.

Essentials:

• Experienced in delivering strategic accessibility interventions and influencing positive change at all levels of a large and complex organisation and the wider sector
• Personal commitment to making a tangible difference to accessibility with a focus on physical disability, sensory disabilities and neurodiverse people and communities.
• An advocate and practitioner of accessible design and clear communication
• Background and confidence in working with people with lived experience of access barriers and providing support and advice to organisations around accessibility.
• Comfortable to proactively challenge internal policy, practices and communications to better include marginalised groups. 
• Expertise on accessible communications, with experience working to improve standards of internal communications and co-designing engaging content for external communication
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to role model and drive behaviour change across all areas of accessibility
• In depth knowledge of accessibility standards and best practise within the UK. Including: WCAG, social model of disability, universal design principles, access to work, reasonable adjustments and working application of the Equality Act 2010
• Significant experience of designing and delivering resources and training around accessibility in a range of formats to meet learner needs
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills, ability to recognise a build key relationships and influence at a sector level
• Sound understanding of intersectionality of disability and other protected characteristics and a good generalist EDI knowledge to inform specialist advice and guidance
• Strong and effective communication skills, with ability to influence leaders and mobilise other teams to act
• Strong written communication and digital presentations skills to communicate accessibility and disability inclusion to a wide range of audiences
• Analytical evaluation to inform and report on areas of focus and impact
• Awareness of project and process management to enable work to be planned and delivered to a high quality, on time and within resource capacity

Desirable:

• Experience or interest in accessibility in the Conservation section, nature or climate emergency

Additional Information

Your role 

You will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support CWNN’s fundraising strategy. You’ll work alongside our Development Manager to create compelling fundraising campaigns, content and communications, growing engagement from individuals, companies, community fundraisers and potential funders while simultaneously raising our profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing plans. This work includes:   

• Support our Development Manager to create and deliver impactful and innovative fundraising strategies including our public appeals, challenge events and local fundraising campaigns.

• Developing and implementing communications strategies to promote CWNN’s work, managing our social media platforms and external comms to ensure they reflect our strategic goals and values.

• Producing our e-newsletter, with support from the Development team, to ensure CWNN’s key work, impact, news and campaigns are effectively promoted to our supporter base.

• Create engaging digital content for our website and social media including written copy, video and graphics.

• Analysing campaign engagement KPIs to inform future strategies and approaches to best engage existing and new audiences.

• Create marketing materials for external use, eg. corporate pitch documents, fundraising packs, gig programmes, flyers and posters using Canva.

• Co-creating case studies, supporting members to share their stories, their way, amplifying their voices and demonstrating the impact of our choirs to stakeholders.

• Co-lead our co-produced ‘Digital Storytellers’ programme with our Community Participation Manager, supporting members to manage their own local social media accounts, sharing their stories and raising awareness of their choirs to new audiences.

• Maintain, organise and populate CWNN’s media library and YouTube channel.

• Write and distribute press releases to both regional and national press and media, fielding media enquiries and building our media contacts.

• Co-ordinate our internal communications programme, working with senior leadership team.

• Carry out any other tasks that arise that are within the scope and purpose of the post as requested by your line manager.

The Digital Engagement Officer is a key member of the Marketing and Communications team and will support the day-to-day running and development of our digital channels. You’ll work to drive engagement, reach new audiences and provide a smooth supporter experience.

You’ll be writing and uploading content to our website, analysing performance, reporting back on learnings and developing plans for improvement. You’ll also help run our email programme. This will involve managing our supporter newsletter, with the support of the Senior Digital Engagement Officer. It’ll also cover growing our list of supporters consenting to hear from us, running testing plans and assisting other teams with their mass email needs.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to refugees in the UK.

STEP provides a bespoke employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that refugees face when preparing for, and ultimately finding work in the UK.   We now have an exciting opportunity for a female Employment Advisor with fluency in Dari/Farsi to work with predominantly women clients providing remote employment support to STEP clients across the UK.

You will prepare clients for competitive employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will work to a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of clients such as successful completion of training courses, voluntary and work placements and achieving and sustaining paid employment.   

About you

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Experience in successfully supporting refugees into sustainable employment

• Understanding of the issues and challenges faced by unemployed people to finding work, including those whose first language is not English

• Fluent first-language skills in speaking Dari/Farsi

• Good IT skills (CRM database, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams) and the ability to work remotely with confidence

The online world was not created with children in mind and can be unsafe for children and young people to explore. Every phone and computer is a potential gateway for offenders seeking to sexually exploit children. Job description

Overall purpose of role

As the WeProtect Global Alliance Head of Strategy, you will lead a small team to build a global network, evidence base and policy portfolio to guide and drive the implementation of our Strategy and mission targets. Your team will provide high level analysis and ask critical questions, supporting the Alliance to identify immediate and emerging issues which may require investigation or exploration, support the Policy Board, Executive Team, Head of Members and Head of Development to navigate key strategic decisions.

You will also work closely with the Head of Members and Head of Development to support the development of new ways of working to harness Alliance members and broader community of practice to understand our collective impact and ensure our secretariat, members and broader organization actively remain relevant and focused on delivering our mission and strategic objectives. 

You will lead the WeProtect Global Alliance Research and Policy work, with key accountability for the following outcomes:

· Work with the Executive Team and Policy Board to implement the existing WeProtect Global Alliance strategy and ensure the forthcoming strategy remains targeted and focused on achieving the Alliance’s global ambition.

· Work with the Executive Team and Policy Board to develop and implement the WeProtect Global Alliance approach, strategy and operational targets on participation and engagement.

· Collaborate with the Head of Members, the Head of Development and MEL lead to collectively build, maintain and oversee our theory of change and operational model to ensure our Strategy remains impactful and has real world impact on the lives of children and young people.

· Provide inspirational leadership and empower our Policy Manager and Research Manager to pro-actively deliver a portfolio of work that will raise the profile of our mission and shift the needle on governmental, public and private sector agencies approaches to child protection and safety in the digital world. This includes overseeing the production of the WeProtect Global Alliance biennial Global Threat Assessment, Model National Response and Global Strategic Response.

· Build and maintain meaningful engagement with a broad range of external stakeholders across the public, private and third sector (including government agencies, advocacy communities, specialist tech and civil society organisations) across the globe to deliver the WeProtect Global Alliance strategic mission.

· Play an active role in building the operational resilience, financial sustainability and compliance capability and capacity of the Secretariat to provide a world class service to our members and Board to ensure WeProtect Global Alliance remains focused on creating a world where children and young people can access and participate in the digital world free from harm, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation.

Key Responsibilities

1. To lead the Strategy team, ensuring the research and policy portfolios are informed by best practice to achieve our mission, vision and embody our values.  This includes working across the Secretariat to deliver the existing strategy and collaborate with Executive Team to develop and implement our new strategy.

2. To be a thought leader, keep abreast of external trends and developments and changing circumstances to ensure the WeProtect Global Alliance Strategy remains relevant, targeted and focused on improving outcomes for children and young people in a rapidly changing legislative, operational and technology landscape.

3. To be accountable for strategy, research, policy and cross organisational projects and work streams.  This includes planning and organising relevant performance and delivery areas, being mindful of cross-cutting impacts and priorities.

4. To be accountable for the commissioning, delivery and impact of strategic projects, ensuring they are led and informed by participatory and advocacy principles to reflect the diversity of our membership, embed lived experience, and deliver the WeProtect Global Alliance mission.

THE ROLE

The Deputy CEO will play a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the CEO to drive the organisation’s strategic vision, operational excellence, programme leadership, and financial sustainability. Deputy CEO Leadership

• Deputise for the CEO as required, leading key meetings, making strategic decisions, and ensuring seamless leadership continuity.

Programme Leadership & Delivery

• Provide strategic leadership for programmes, ensuring stability and growth in existing regions and identifying opportunities for expansion.
• Lead on innovation, piloting new programme elements, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency, impact, and revenue generation.
• Ensure programme decisions are informed by data, research, and organisational learning.
• Oversee quality assurance and impact measurement, ensuring consistency across regions and effective reporting on mentee outcomes.
• Oversee programme pipeline, targets, and income generation from schools, reporting to the Board.

Programme Delivery & Reporting

• Stay informed about best practices in mentoring, gender equality, and social mobility to ensure maximum programme impact.

• Oversee the mentor network, ensuring engagement, retention, and a high-quality experience for both mentors and mentees.

Management & Training

• Manage the Senior Programme Team, overseeing performance, development, and wellbeing.
• Support programme teams to deliver growth and impact targets with consistency.
• Ensure the Ambassador Programme is successfully implemented and contributes to an engaged network of former mentees.

Safeguarding Leadership

• Serve as Joint Safeguarding Lead, with accountability for safeguarding decisions.
• Oversee Designated Safeguarding Officers and ensure all policies and procedures reflect best practice.
• Review and approve key training materials, particularly those shared externally.
• Maintain oversight of safeguarding systems, including managing the safeguarding phone and any related rota.

IPSEA has a proven track record of successfully securing grants, and this is a new role designed to help strengthen and grow IPSEA’s income from charitable Trusts and Foundations. Following a 3-month probation period, you will transition to a fixed-term contract. Upon successful completion of this term, you will be offered a permanent employment contract. About your role

We are a small and ambitious early-stage organisation with two full-time team members. Our current objective: to help the 1 billion chickens raised annually in the UK. A unique team of artists, performers, play specialists and fun-devotees, The Flying Seagull Project is dedicated to ensuring no childhood passes without proper play, big belly-laughs, and everyone feeling valuable. We work across the UK and internationally, sharing circus, music, art, dance and play experiences with children and communities facing the harshest crises due to poverty, war, isolation and illness.

We create safe spaces, either in our big top tent or an empty car park or wherever we can take over a corner, to ensure that every child feels safe, seen and special. The locations we work in include refugee camps, institutions, refuges, marginalised communities, hospices and community centres. What unites us is the energy, determination and commitment to creating genuine childhood joy for those starved of that basic right and making magical memories that can last forever.

Our UK-based, medium-sized charity is led by CEO Ash Perrin, with 6 core staff and a team of highly experienced crew and volunteers. We also have a Netherlands hub and a Norway hub, both with their own governance but all part of one global Seagulls team. We are a dynamic and friendly organisation, dedicated to delivering a huge impact with limited resources, and are looking for people who are driven and who share our mission.

The role

The Global Team Coordinator is a varied and essential new role in the charity that will combine all our people management functions, supporting our international delivery teams, our core team and our vital administrative functions. The central purpose of this role is helping us to engage, support, recognise and retain our most valuable asset: our amazing team of international skilled performers, volunteers and core team.

You’ll be responsible for all things people-related: from ensuring the right people are booked on, supported and looked after on projects; to helping us continually find and train an international, diverse team of new recruits; to establishing an engaging rewards and recognition programme to motivate and retain our fabulous people.

On a practical level, you’ll work closely with our Global Projects Coordinator, to ensure that all our projects across the world are properly staffed and that all our people’s transport, travel, accommodation and logistics are booked and in order; you’ll liaise directly with our delivery teams to ensure they are well supported, rewarded and retained; and you’ll liaise with our office and Senior Leadership teams to carry out relevant administrative tasks to make sure our international operational and booking systems and databases are perfectly organised and efficient.

At a cultural level, the role requires a confident, dynamic, personable and creative person who brings experience, energy and ambition. As a brand-new position, this role will also work closely with our CEO and with our Executive Director to trial new ideas and approaches to recruiting and managing an international, diverse team of people, and to cultivate the best environment for our team to flourish and achieve.

An exceptional people-person, with experience in administration, team support and management (although there are no direct line management responsibilities), you’ll be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, collaboration and coordination skills.

Location: remote with occasional travel for meetings.

Responsibilities

Team coordination:

• Manage all team calendars, team bookings and team logistics for all global projects (except Norway and Netherlands national tours).
• Liaise closely with the Global Projects Coordinator to understand project requirements, booking relevant core and volunteer team on to every project (accommodating individuals’ particular disability, culture, religion, health or support needs).
• Book all team travel and accommodation on all global projects.
• Identify, recruit and arrange training for local team in international locations to join our projects.
• Liaise with our Norway and Netherlands hubs to ensure team scheduling and support is joined up across the global organisation.

Team recruitment and retention:

• Research, identify and network with international partners, colleges, universities, drama schools and youth organisations, to recruit and maintain an international, diverse pool of talented core and voluntary team to deliver our projects.
• Work closely with the CEO to run international recruitment initiatives, to identify and recruit a diverse, international pool of performers and volunteers.
• Organise and manage new core and voluntary training programmes around the world.
• Promote, manage and maintain a database of relevant non-performer volunteers to support the organisation’s core functions globally.

Team support and engagement:

• Develop and run a rewards and recognition programme to motivate all global team and volunteers.
• Carry out regular and appropriate team engagement activities and initiatives, to maintain excellent working culture and morale.
• Manage our team Wellbeing Programme for all our international core and volunteer teams.
• Identify and coordinate specific external training, to continually develop the teams’ abilities and professional skills.

General administrative tasks:

• Update and maintain global shared team calendars, relevant document logs and planning spreadsheets.
• Manage and update our global Client Management System, Salesforce.
• Manage, update and maintain all international core and volunteer team records and entries via our team booking system, Better Impact.
• Work closely with the Global Projects Coordinator, Executive Director and CEO to support with administrative tasks as required.

Confident, with experience coordinating international teams, with fluent English and ideally at least one additional language, you will help recruit and look after all our team, maintaining an excellent working culture within the organisation.

Skills and experience

• A good level of demonstrable experience in administrative/logistical roles.
• Team management and coordination experience, ideally across multiple international locations.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Project management experience including setting and meeting clear targets and outcomes.
• Digitally savvy with great IT skills.
• Knowledge of Better Impact or similar digital team management systems.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
• English-language fluent, and additional languages desirable.
• Willingness and ability to juggle multiple priorities and a varied workload.
• Self-sufficient, with a can-do attitude in a challenging and evolving environment.
