World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to refugees in the UK.
STEP provides a bespoke employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that refugees face when preparing for, and ultimately finding work in the UK. We now have an exciting opportunity for a female Employment Advisor with fluency in Dari/Farsi to work with predominantly women clients providing remote employment support to STEP clients across the UK.
You will prepare clients for competitive employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will work to a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of clients such as successful completion of training courses, voluntary and work placements and achieving and sustaining paid employment.
About you
We are looking for candidates who have:
• Experience in successfully supporting refugees into sustainable employment
• Understanding of the issues and challenges faced by unemployed people to finding work, including those whose first language is not English
• Fluent first-language skills in speaking Dari/Farsi
• Experience of providing advice and guidance and supervising a caseload of clients
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills (CRM database, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams) and the ability to work remotely with confidence
• Good business-level English, cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with clients with varying levels of English

The online world was not created with children in mind and can be unsafe for children and young people to explore. Every phone and computer is a potential gateway for offenders seeking to sexually exploit children. Our Alliance generates political commitment and practical approaches to make the digital world safe and positive for children, preventing sexual abuse and long-term harm.
Our Alliance’s geographical reach is unprecedented: 103 governments are members along with 82 private sector companies, 126 civil society organisations and 10 intergovernmental organisations. This diverse membership is key to our ability to deliver real change. Together, we break down complex problems and develop policies and solutions to protect children from sexual abuse online. Job description
Overall purpose of role
As the WeProtect Global Alliance Head of Strategy, you will lead a small team to build a global network, evidence base and policy portfolio to guide and drive the implementation of our Strategy and mission targets. Your team will provide high level analysis and ask critical questions, supporting the Alliance to identify immediate and emerging issues which may require investigation or exploration, support the Policy Board, Executive Team, Head of Members and Head of Development to navigate key strategic decisions.
You will also work closely with the Head of Members and Head of Development to support the development of new ways of working to harness Alliance members and broader community of practice to understand our collective impact and ensure our secretariat, members and broader organization actively remain relevant and focused on delivering our mission and strategic objectives.
You will lead the WeProtect Global Alliance Research and Policy work, with key accountability for the following outcomes:
· Work with the Executive Team and Policy Board to implement the existing WeProtect Global Alliance strategy and ensure the forthcoming strategy remains targeted and focused on achieving the Alliance’s global ambition.
· Work with the Executive Team and Policy Board to develop and implement the WeProtect Global Alliance approach, strategy and operational targets on participation and engagement.
· Collaborate with the Head of Members, the Head of Development and MEL lead to collectively build, maintain and oversee our theory of change and operational model to ensure our Strategy remains impactful and has real world impact on the lives of children and young people.
· Provide inspirational leadership and empower our Policy Manager and Research Manager to pro-actively deliver a portfolio of work that will raise the profile of our mission and shift the needle on governmental, public and private sector agencies approaches to child protection and safety in the digital world. This includes overseeing the production of the WeProtect Global Alliance biennial Global Threat Assessment, Model National Response and Global Strategic Response.
· Build and maintain meaningful engagement with a broad range of external stakeholders across the public, private and third sector (including government agencies, advocacy communities, specialist tech and civil society organisations) across the globe to deliver the WeProtect Global Alliance strategic mission.
· Play an active role in building the operational resilience, financial sustainability and compliance capability and capacity of the Secretariat to provide a world class service to our members and Board to ensure WeProtect Global Alliance remains focused on creating a world where children and young people can access and participate in the digital world free from harm, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation.
Key Responsibilities
1. To lead the Strategy team, ensuring the research and policy portfolios are informed by best practice to achieve our mission, vision and embody our values. This includes working across the Secretariat to deliver the existing strategy and collaborate with Executive Team to develop and implement our new strategy.
2. To be a thought leader, keep abreast of external trends and developments and changing circumstances to ensure the WeProtect Global Alliance Strategy remains relevant, targeted and focused on improving outcomes for children and young people in a rapidly changing legislative, operational and technology landscape.
3. To be accountable for strategy, research, policy and cross organisational projects and work streams. This includes planning and organising relevant performance and delivery areas, being mindful of cross-cutting impacts and priorities.
4. To be accountable for the commissioning, delivery and impact of strategic projects, ensuring they are led and informed by participatory and advocacy principles to reflect the diversity of our membership, embed lived experience, and deliver the WeProtect Global Alliance mission.
5. To ensure the continuous development and effective delivery of the WeProtect Global Alliance Strategy in a fast paced, politically sensitive and rapidly changing external environment, including participating in and leading (where relevant) annual business planning, forecasting, setting, monitoring, reviewing and reporting on budgets and relevant donor requirements to support effective decision making throughout the year.
6. To provide exemplary leadership and line management to staff, including appraisals, supervision, team meetings, delegating, managing, engaging, developing and supporting staff to be the best they can be and achieve our strategic objectives in accordance with our vision and values.

Following a 3-month probation period, you will transition to a fixed-term contract. Upon successful completion of this term, you will be offered a permanent employment contract. A minimum salary of £39,695.24 gross (our salary base for people resident in the UK) will apply from the beginning of the probationary period. The salary base may change due to your previous experience related to the position, or your experience in animal advocacy (+3% for each year). In addition, the salary increases with your seniority in Open Cages according to the following model:

About your role
We are a small and ambitious early-stage organisation with two full-time team members. Our current objective: to help the 1 billion chickens raised annually in the UK. To help the billions of animals trapped on factory farms, we need an organisation that is expertly designed and not weighed down by inefficiencies. The role
The Global Team Coordinator is a varied and essential new role in the charity that will combine all our people management functions, supporting our international delivery teams, our core team and our vital administrative functions. The central purpose of this role is helping us to engage, support, recognise and retain our most valuable asset: our amazing team of international skilled performers, volunteers and core team.
You’ll be responsible for all things people-related: from ensuring the right people are booked on, supported and looked after on projects; to helping us continually find and train an international, diverse team of new recruits; to establishing an engaging rewards and recognition programme to motivate and retain our fabulous people.

Responsibilities
Team coordination:
- Manage all team calendars, team bookings and team logistics for all global projects (except Norway and Netherlands national tours).

- Book all team travel and accommodation on all global projects.

In this role, you will support a caseload of people with cystic fibrosis, building their confidence and empowering them to secure and retain employment that helps them lead a fulfilling life. You’ll work with each client to understand their skills, aspirations, work experience and build their confidence in tackling the challenges they perceive/have experienced in employment due to their cystic fibrosis. Through supportive delivery of information, advice and guidance, you’ll ensure people with CF can access the support they need to achieve their ambitions and make sure their work fits around their health.
You will also get involved with the programme’s wider activities, including supporting the development of new resources, getting involved in the planning and delivery of online sessions, videos and webinars, and making sure we can share and celebrate the stories of people with CF in a wide range of jobs and careers. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the Helen Barrett Bright Ideas Awards, our programme to support people with cystic fibrosis in self-employment.
This is a varied and interesting role, with the opportunity to make a real difference to people affected by cystic fibrosis and to continue to shape a broad, innovative programme of work.

Their vision is to find a cure for all types of brain tumours. To achieve their mission, they are looking for a Community Fundraiser who will proactively engage with supporters, community groups and volunteers across the West Midlands to join their team of 12 Community Fundraisers across the UK.
The Community Fundraiser (West Midlands) is responsible for providing support and guidance to fundraisers within their communities to achieve their ambitions and ultimately raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research. This is achieved through a wide variety of activities such as helping supporters to make the most of their own fundraising, engaging participants with externally organised events such as the Great Birmingham Run, and encouraging communities to get involved in events organised by Brain Tumour Research such as Wear a Hat Day and Walk for Hope. The Community Fundraiser will be the face of Brain Tumour Research in the area, providing excellent stewardship to existing supporters, and building great relationships with new supporters.

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a national charity to recruit for the Fundraiser (Direct Fundraising) in order tosupport the growth and development of direct fundraising activities, including face to face recruitment and telephone fundraising campaigns.
As a Fundraiser you will:
- Support the Senior Fundraisers in growing direct fundraising activities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of direct fundraising campaigns, including the setup of new fundraising agencies and campaigns.
- Conduct mystery shopping and call listening to monitor the quality and compliance of fundraising activities carried out by external agencies, ensuring they meet expected ethical and regulatory standards.
- Ensure campaigns adhere to compliance standards and best practices.
- Monitor performance metrics, income, and expenditure.
- Advocate for the mission, ensuring that fundraising activities align with values.
- Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to drive success.
To be successful, you must have experience:
- Highly developed written communication skills to understand, interpret and present complex information in a clear and persuasive way for a range of audience
- Have strong ability to record, analyse, and present financial data in an accurate and impactful way.
- Have experience using Windows based software like Excel, Word, and email, to carry out tasks and projects.
- Willingness to travel across the UK for mystery shopping and engage with external agencies to ensure high standards of fundraising.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team.

Salary: £28,337 - £31,485 + allowances

The Fundraising and Communications Officer is a vital member of the Membership and Development team, responsible for engaging and communicating with Humanists International's members and the wider public, with a strong focus on fundraising. This role involves developing and implementing communication and fundraising strategies, managing social media channels, creating compelling content, and utilizing AI tools to optimize outreach and fundraising effectiveness, particularly in engaging standard value supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising and Development:

Develop and implement fundraising plans and campaigns, with a focus on strategies to engage and cultivate standard value supporters.

Create compelling content for fundraising appeals, ensuring alignment with Humanists International's values and mission.

Analyze fundraising data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, using AI-driven analytics where appropriate to understand standard value supporter behavior.

Implement strategies to cultivate and steward relationships with donors, with a focus on upgrading standard value supporters.
Membership Communications:

Manage all membership-related communications, including the monthly newsletter, ensuring content is engaging, informative, and promotes fundraising opportunities to standard value supporters.

Establish and maintain a strong online presence through existing social media accounts (e.g., Twitter, Facebook) and by creating new accounts on platforms like Instagram and BlueSky.

Content Creation and Publication:

Produce high-quality written and visual content for various platforms, including the website, social media, newsletters, fundraising appeals, and reports, tailored to appeal to standard value supporters.

Support the Chief Executive in writing the annual report, ensuring it effectively communicates the organization's achievements and impact to all supporters.

Collaboration and Support:
