We are looking for a proactive and experienced Business Solutions Manager to support the delivery of our new five year Strategic Plan.
This exciting new role will act as the bridge between our Operations and Central Services working as a key part of our newly formed Project Management Office. It's a unique opportunity to shape how these functions work together to achieve our organisational goals more effectively and ensure a consistent and innovate approach to our operational delivery.
You will oversee the provision and ongoing development of support services to enable TCV Operations teams throughout the organisation to focus on the core elements of operational delivery and development whilst adhering to a consistent project management approach. The role will be responsible for looking for ongoing improvements in efficiencies and effectiveness, supporting innovation whilst balancing national consistency and adapting to local needs. You will support the development of our fleet and property portfolio and ensure that our new organisational systems are embedded and integrated effectively. We are looking for an agile, people focused operator who brings a programmatic approach to innovation and works well with multiple stakeholders.
There is flexibility around the location of this role - you can be homebased or office based with some national/UK-wide travel. Our Head Office is in Doncaster.

We are looking to recruit an accomplished Interim Head of Portfolio Management to strengthen governance and drive meaningful change and impact across this broad and established organisation. This is a senior, influential role for someone who combines technical PPM expertise with excellent leadership and a people-driven approach. This is an exciting time of change to be joining the organisation.
This role is offered as a 6-month fixed term contract, ideally working 2 or 3 days in the London Office, with the remainder flexibly from home.
The role
We have developed a Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) Framework blueprint that sets out our future vision for how projects and programmes will be governed, prioritised and delivered.
The Interim Head of PMO will work with the Interim Chief Operating Officer to establish a Portfolio and Project Management Office (PMO) across the organisation. Using the agreed PPM Framework, the postholder will develop the initial portfolio of projects and programmes and support all staff across the Foundation in the adoption of progamme management methodology.
The role will support prioritisation, decision-making and infrastructure support while developing clear, insightful portfolio-level reporting and dashboards. It will also lead and develop high-performing teams, embedding systems and culture change to help move the organisation towards greater portfolio, programme and project maturity and impact. The person
The successful candidate will be an accomplished Senior PPM professional with a proven track record in complex organisational change environments. They will bring strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, will be confident challenging constructively, and comfortable operating at senior leadership and board level. They will combine excellent analytical capability with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and will be a people-focused leader with a strong commitment to development and inclusion. Formal PPM qualifications, experience in the corporate or not-for-profit/ charity sector, change management, PPM systems implementation, coaching or mentoring will all be important for this exciting role.
A proactive and collaborative person with the ability to lead people through extensive culture change, this person will be ready to hit the ground running and deliver on tight deadlines in a calm and organised manner.

Reporting to our Executive Director: Data, Technology and Transformation, you will join an existing senior leadership team to focus on shaping, mobilising and delivering a portfolio of transformation programmes and projects that enable us to achieve RBLs new objectives and to shape the long term change agenda and strategy.
You will lead a high performing team within Change and Transformation including delivery leads, programme managers, project managers and specialist PMO and Change professionals. Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and maintain our change and transformation roadmap and plans, ensuring there is measurable impact, while acting as a trusted advisor to the Executive Board
- Portfolio Management: Engage with our senior leadership community to identify change demands and priorities to ensure a well-integrated and aligned portfolio is developed and maintained
- Delivery and Enablement: Drive the delivery of the change and transformation portfolio, ensuring robust and stretching delivery plans are in place, optimising delivery performance based on insight, best practice and allocation of required resources
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across senior leadership, functional teams, and external partners, leveraging these relationships to enable successful delivery of outcomes
- Resource and Budget Oversight: Lead and ensure delivery of options appraisals and develop clear cases for transformation, designing projects and programmes that are credible with respect to costs, benefits, resourcing, timescales, governance, risk management and organisational capacity
- Change and Transformation Function Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team to include; delivery leads, programme managers, project managers and specialist roles (e.g., PMO, Impact & Evaluation, Change Communications)
Your experience in senior leadership role(s) and your understanding of change models and large scale transformation across people, process, technology and data within an organisation of similar size and complexity will be key to success. You will bring excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate deliver focussed teams of professionals. Previous experience of working in a large charity or social business would be advantageous.

You will be contracted to our Haig House hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.
Should you wish to explore a remote working contract (which will not include additional London Supplement to salary) with some travel required, this can be discussed at interview stage.
