Job description

Location: Central London, Leadenhall St (hybrid) or Addis Ababa, Dakar or Nairobi with regular international

Salary: £45,992

Application Deadline: 30 April 2024

We seek a seasoned advocacy professional, with good analytical skills, to continue our successful influencing work surrounding animal health systems and coordinate the Action for Animal Health Coalition work.  Your experience of analysing the advocacy landscape, engaging in global processes, and influencing stakeholders from a range of disciplines is essential. In order to excel in this position, you will need to demonstrate your ability to gain internal and external support to these areas of work.  You possess effective negotiation and persuasion skills; you are highly experienced in working with coalitions and engaging with key global players to achieve advocacy goals.

If you have what it to takes to advance agendas at the highest levels, actively listen, support joint working, and want to be part of this growing movement for change, we want to hear from you!

At Brooke, we celebrate diversity and the creative new ideas it brings. We actively encourage applications from all backgrounds, in particular global majority candidates, candidates from a social mobility background, disabled and neuro-diverse candidates, and candidates under 25 as these groups are currently under-represented at Brooke.

We are aware that studies have shown that women and global majority candidates are less likely to apply for a role if they feel they do not meet the full criteria of the job description. If you feel you meet the majority of the criteria, we would love to hear from you.

We offer a variety of flexible working options to best support our staff and to ensure our working practices are as inclusive as possible.
