One YMCA Youth Clubs provide welcoming and supportive spaces where young people can build confidence, develop life skills, and feel a strong sense of belonging. We are now seeking a Youth Work Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of our Bedford Town Centre Youth Clubs.

The Role

As Youth Work Coordinator, you will take a lead role in the planning, coordination and delivery of youth clubs and activities. You will be responsible for setting up and developing new sessions, coordinating day-to-day delivery, supporting youth workers and volunteers, and ensuring high-quality youth work practice in line with the YMCA Youth Work Strategy and Principles.

You will also work closely with local partners, schools, and community stakeholders to strengthen engagement and create positive opportunities for young people. This is a hands-on role combining direct youth work, outreach, and leadership responsibilities.

The role includes working 2–3 days per week after school, with some evening work required. Additional daytime hours are allocated for planning, coordination, partnership working, and administration, bringing the total to 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver centre-based and outreach youth work sessions
• Lead the development of new youth clubs and activities
• Support, mentor, and coordinate youth work staff and volunteers

Community Connectors forms part of the Citadel programme. Citadel is a volunteer-powered homelessness prevention project that supports people experiencing, or at risk of homelessness, to find a place to live, settle into a home, and feel part of a welcoming and supportive community. Coordinators recruit and train volunteers before matching them with a person referred for support. Coordinators and volunteers work closely with people who have been referred, to establish what matters to them and how best they can support them. 

About you 

We are looking for an outgoing, confident and skilled communicator, comfortable with building relationships, including for support, influencing people, and with public speaking. You will be a self-motivated, committed person with experience of working and/or volunteering in the homelessness, housing or voluntary and community sectors.
 
About the role 

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing our London projects, continuing and growing the support we offer and relationships we’ve built. The focus of the role is volunteer management and support coordination: specifically the recruitment, training, support and supervision of volunteers; and overseeing the support volunteers offer

The key responsibilities we entrust you with

Project support

• Contribute to outreach to project stakeholders, Community Members, partners & event attendees, answering and directing queries and scheduling appointments and virtual/ in-person meetings
• Organise meeting logistics, agenda preparation, outreach and speaker coordination, notetaking, and the tracking and implementation of follow up actions and communications

Essential attributes, skills & knowledge

• Experience working in a project or research/analysis support role in a highly collaborative environment such as an international NGO
• Understanding of sustainability systems and how they work to help deliver change; strong interest in social issues such as human rights, gender equality, and decent work.
• Experience and comfort working with subject matter of a niche or specialist nature, possibly gained through research, project coordination, and/or the review and analysis of data sets, academic research, technical reports, and policy documents
• Strong organisational skills, and experience with administration, meeting coordination, logistics, contracts, budget tracking, etc.
• Confidence in communications with peers and external partners, strong interpersonal skills and comfortable in public speaking situations (e.g. webinars, workshops etc)
• Excellent time management and ability to organise multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently with precision and strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and spoken English, with proven ability to write clearly and concisely on a range of topics
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a largely remote, international environment, including regular international time-zone calls

About the role

As District Coordinator, you will lead the effective implementation of the Comprehensive and Accessible Eye Health – Bangladesh project at the district level. You will coordinate with partners, including organisations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), hospitals, and community stakeholders, to ensure project deliverables are achieved. The role involves monitoring, documentation, reporting, and capacity building, while maintaining compliance with donor and organisational standards. You will also support planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement to deliver inclusive eye health services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with hospital partners, inclusion partners, and OPDs to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
• Support partners in planning, monitoring, record keeping, and quality assurance of project activities.
• Assist in organising capacity development activities for community health workers and factory staff.
• Monitor project progress, compliance with partnership agreements, and adherence to donor requirements.
• Track project expenditure, analyse budget variances, and report findings to the line manager.
• Conduct monitoring visits, review performance targets, and support partners in addressing underperformance.

The Role

The Project Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the project by providing coordination, administrative, and communication support across the three delivery partners, Institute of Physics, Royal Society of Chemistry and Science Made Simple.

What will I be doing?

• Coordinating and delivering events across Wales, including professional learning days, workshops, forums, and online sessions ensuring smooth logistics, bookings, communications, and on-the-day support.

 What the job involves
You’ll be joining the Gift Aid, Compliance and Fulfilment Team within Customer Engagement and Experience. Your main focus will be making sure our supporters feel valued and appreciated for their contributions, helping to build lasting relationships so they want to support us again. You’ll also play an important part in a new project to refresh how Prostate Cancer UK thanks its supporters.

Working closely with colleagues in Ecommerce, Fulfilment, and Compliance, you’ll help with admin tasks and manage incoming queries, with an initial focus on Trading. You’ll keep our CRM, Raiser’s Edge NXT, accurate and up to date through daily data input, following our policies, and other regulatory requirements. You’ll develop a good understanding of our activity calendar and how it affects our customers, build positive relationships with them, and act as their advocate internally and with our fulfilment house when needed.

 What we want from you
We’re looking for a customer operations coordinator who’s an excellent communicator, with genuine enthusiasm for building loyalty and delivering high quality customer experiences. You’ll be comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and able to build positive, professional relationships with ease. You’ll bring strong organisational skills to support complex and overlapping activity, using your own initiative when needed.

You’ll have experience of using a database to maintain and update accurate customer records, and you’ll feel confident handling a wide range of customer queries, knowing how to prioritise them and when to collate and feed insights back internally. Programme Coordinator

Full time, 18 month contract with 6 months’ probation.

This role will work at the heart of NEF’s major programmes, supporting the team to turn bold ideas, robust research and community power into real-world change to build a new economy that works for people and planet.

The role will primarily support the delivery of NEF’s major programmes including Homes for Us and Reclaiming our Regional Economies (RORE). Homes for Us is an alliance made up of grassroots groups, tenants unions and charities. It enables different parts of the housing movement to campaign and work together. Similarly, RORE works with leading new economy organistations, local communities and regional and local authorities to transform regional economies.

In supporting these programmes you would be helping communities and social movements to win lasting and systemic change. 

You will work closely with programme managers, organisers, grassroots movements, external partners and stakeholders to help ensure programmes deliver to time, task and budget. It is a varied role where you’ll switch between a wide range of context and tasks, working closely with and reporting to the Head of Impact and Performance.

We are looking for a Evaluation Coordinator (Data & Insight) to join our Strategy & Impact team. You’ll be responsible for managing and analysing data from annual surveys, including the National Student Survey (NSS), pulse surveys, evaluation toolkits, and website engagement metrics. You will also support the Strategy Planning & Impact Manager to coordinate evaluation projects through a new partnership with the UCL Social Biobehavioural Research Group. 

Do you have experience in data analysis? Do you have experience supporting organisations to evaluate their impact? If the answer is yes, then we want to hear from you.

Our ideal candidate will have previous research experience such as: collecting qualitative and/or quantitative data, analysing data, writing research reports and/or presenting research findings, previous experience of developing training, toolkits and resources, and proven ability to utilise statistical analysis and data visualisation programmes such as R, PowerBI and SPSS.
