The role of Personal Assistant (PA) is a key opportunity to work alongside and support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Board of Trustees (BoT) as they lead Church Army forward. The SLT comprises the CEO and three Executive Directors with multiple demands on their time and multiple responsibilities so a PA who can help them work efficiently and effectively is really important. The PA is a trusted and valued colleague who can assist the SLT maximise the impact of their time.

To perform well in this role, you need to be someone who has excellent interpersonal skills and able to engage confidently and effectively with a range of people. The PA works closely with the SLT and will be handling confidential information, so the role requires someone who understands the importance of confidentiality, works with discretion, and always acts professionally. You will need excellent organisation skills and consider what information the SLT need to make the best use of each meeting and event. You should be able to manage busy diaries and multiple projects and tasks have a flexible approach prioritising and responding to requests as they present.

This role sits within our Co.Lab team which refers to the team of people whose roles have an operational focus on facilitating the work of CA across the UK and Ireland. The team come together at regular times over the year to develop connection, collaboration and community to help us better serve the wider Church Army community. Senior Programme Manager (Part-time Contract)

The Role:

This is an exciting 15-month contract opportunity for a Senior Programme Manager with experience in participatory/community arts who is passionate about driving impactful change and fostering intergenerational connections within an evolving, inclusive organisation. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless continuity and high-quality delivery of our respected intergenerational and care home arts programme during a period of organisational evolution.

Key responsibilities and deliverables:

• Programme oversight & leadership: Provide oversight of the full year creative programme, ensuring high quality delivery and the effective integration of individual projects. Collaborate on the design and management of the overall programme budget and manage staff and artist capacity.

• Team leadership & mentorship: Line-manage two Project Managers, fostering a supportive environment and prioritizing their development. Provide direct mentorship to a designated Project Manager as part of Magic Me's internal succession plan for the SPM role.

• Project practice & frameworks: Take responsibility for implementing effective ways of working for the Programme Team. Oversee project evaluation and ensure evaluation practice adheres to the ACE Impact & Insight framework.

• Partnership & artist relationships: Nurture key partner and artist relationships and oversee the Project Managers' portfolios of key relationships. Identify, engage, and establish potential arts and non-arts partners and participants for the 26/27 programme.

The key duties of the Director of Finance, People & Culture are as follows:

Screen Share is the UK’s leading refugee digital inclusion charity. We invest in the digital capability of refugees and people seeking asylum by providing the tools, training and opportunities they need to thrive in education, work and community life. Over the past four years, we have supported more than 3,000 refugees with devices, connectivity, and training. Personal Profile

This is a leadership role at a pivotal moment in Screen Share’s journey. The role is funded to deliver our current Digital Skills programme, with a strong focus on quality, impact and evaluation. At the same time, we are awaiting the outcome of several significant funding applications. If successful, these will enable us to expand the programme quickly, positioning the postholder as the Head of a national digital skills programme with a larger team and greater leadership remit.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the design and strategic direction of our Digital Skills programme, Ensure the service we are providing is high-quality, impactful, trauma-informed and aligned with Screen Share’s 2026–2030 strategy.

• Oversee the onboarding and support of hundreds of refugees looking to develop digitally, including supporting with the development of their Independent Learning Plan’s and journeys through Digital Champions 

• Recruite, coordinate and support our digital champions and staff to provide high-quality online and in-person classes, 1:1 support and effective sign-posting

• Maintain oversight of multiple Screen Share digital skills projects delivered over multiple locations. 

• Trial innovative digital inclusion tools and approaches.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact

• Design and oversee comprehensive impact measurement and monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure the programme is most effective 

• Produce clear, data-centered programme and impact reports (quantitative and qualitative) for existing and prospective funders and partners

People & Volunteers

• Recruit, train and support Digital Champions and volunteers in a trauma-informed way

Partnerships & Fundraising

• Support our Outreach team in building and maintaining strong partnerships with our corporate, charity and government partners

Personal Specification

• Significant experience in charity programme management, with a strong preference for experience in the digital inclusion, adult education or refugee support sector

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee all financial aspects of our UK and international operations. This is a critical role that ensures our financial stewardship is sound and our systems are effective.

About You

Committed to our causes, you will use your donor cultivation skills to strengthen existing relationships and use your research and networking skills to identify and cultivate new opportunities. Your excellent written and development skills will enable you to work with colleagues to turn their visions into compelling proposals for funders and our wider support base. Your knowledge of fundraising best practice will ensure that we deliver an excellent donor experience.
You will be an effective worker with an eye for detail who can use your experience to fulfil the administrative and reporting requirements of the funds you are helping to raise.
You will work alongside our Membership & Communications Manager and have some support from our Administrative Assistant. You will also be supported in your work by the CEO, trustees, volunteers, and external contractors.

Our office is in an 18th century building overlooking the beautiful Wandlebury estate. Wandlebury is located on top of the Gog Magog Hills just south of Cambridge.

Support JRSST-CT and the UK Democracy Fund to achieve their aims of tackling political inequality and expanding democratic participation through developing and managing a portfolio of grants, and communication of our work to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage the grant portfolio for the UK Democracy Fund and JRSST-CT, in support of the strategy.
• Lead development of JRSST-CT’s written communications, including website, newsletter copy, reporting to Board and funders, copy for fundraising, and case studies.
• Keep up to date with developments relevant to the Trust’s work and maintain and improve personal competence through continuous professional development.
• To work flexibly alongside other members of the team and take on reasonable tasks as appropriate over and above those set out above.
• Apply Trust policies as determined by charity, electoral and other legal requirements as well as good grant-making practice.
• To act as a focal point for dissemination of information and respond to enquiries about the Trust’s work.
• Represent, and be an effective ambassador for, the Trust externally.
• To develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including civil society organisations, academics, statutory bodies and civil servants.

Person specification:

• A demonstrable ability to turn strategy into a work plan and deliver it.
• Ability to design, develop, implement and manage a grant giving programme (which may or may not be demonstrated through grant management experience).
• Good project management skills, ability to manage multiple streams of activity simultaneously.
• Demonstrable understanding of how change is made through campaigns and policy influencing.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to internal and external audiences.

• A track record of developing and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders, working flexibly and collaboratively with team members, Trustees, grantees and partners.
• Experience of organising meetings, seminars and public events.
• Ability and motivation to deliver high-quality work to deadline with minimum supervision.
• IT literate with good experience of MS Office and other relevant IT systems as appropriate for the role.
• A deep commitment to democratic reform, political inequality and an inclusive democracy and a sound grasp of UK political context, institutions, and processes including elections.

Terms and conditions:

Role Purpose

• To provide psychosocial assessments and bereavement support interventions to children and young people and/or their significant adults or professionals (as appropriate) who are experiencing moderate levels of psychological distress as a result of a bereavement through the Winston’s Wish On Demand services as required.
• To work with children and young people and/or their significant adults (as appropriate) using a range of supportive methods, approaches and techniques, functioning at level 2 of the NICE psychological framework.
• To provide psychosocial education to children and young people and/or their significant adults (as appropriate) about grief, bereavement and coping skills.
• To carry out comprehensive risk assessments with children and young people, and/or their significant adults (as appropriate), and to liaise with relevant external agencies—including social services, the police, general practitioners, and parents or carers—following the safeguarding policy.
• To conduct referral callbacks on a regular weekly basis, applying clinical judgement to ensure that each child or young person is supported in accessing the most appropriate services for their individual needs at that time.
• To co-facilitate therapeutic group sessions in collaboration with the clinical team, and to deliver one-off psychosocial educational groups as required.
• To accurately record and maintain individual case data within the organisation’s CRM system, in accordance with Winston’s Wish policies and procedures. This includes documenting contact notes, safeguarding concerns, and any information shared with external agencies and parents/carers (as appropriate).

We Are Survivors are looking for a Nightingale Navigator to join the team. You will support the direct delivery of our Nightingale services that supports the non-offending family and loved ones of survivors who are engaged in the Criminal Justice system.

You’ll play a key role in supporting clients, managing communications and working in partnership with all Nightingale Project members. You will work closely with our Independent Sexual Violence Advisors, Community Development Co-Ordinator’s to provide support at different parts of a victims Criminal Justice journey, as well as supporting the development and delivery of community-based interventions for their families and loved ones. All staff have a thematic leadership area to expand the organisations knowledge in areas impacting male survivors and their loved ones.

Role purpose

RISE strives for a world where people , including children and young people, can lead safe, purposeful lives as a result of better relationships within families and communities; where harmful behaviour is marginalised and fewer people , including children and young people, are victims of crime. In order to create safe communities, RISE empowers people to break their cycle of harmful behaviour. RISE’s programmes challenge attitudes and facilitate long-lasting behaviour change and are driven by the belief that people , including children and young people, can make better decisions, given the right support. RISE are specialists in designing and delivering evidence-based, transformative behaviour change courses within the criminal justice system and wider community.
 

With the main objectives of reducing re-offending and helping to protect the public, the RISE practitioner will deliver a range of interventions (individual and group), that RISE may design, commission or be commissioned to deliver in the future, both in the community and in custody.

The main purpose of this role is to support and assist Facilitators, Advanced Practitioner,  Responsible Officers and Service managers  in the administration of the Domestic Abuse contracts delivery by co-ordinating project resources such as people and equipment. The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining information systems linked to specific DA contracts.
 

Key duties and accountabilities

• To undertake a range of administrative duties, including log on cases, tracking and issuing documents to clients.
• Be adept in managing a new client based system.
• Working closely with practitioners to facilitate and schedule service users onto courses or appointments or chasing information.
• Drafting documentation where appropriate under direction from the Service Manager.
• Communicate with referrers, specifically social workers, mental health provoiders.
• Maintaining excellent filing and records of case files to ensure effective recording on attendance and completion of courses.
• Ensure the team has excellent administrative support across all projects.
• Help manage communications both within the project team and between the project teams and project delivery partners.
• To ensure that all contractual information is recorded, updated and accessible.
• Work with  Team leader and Service Manager and practitioners to support the scheduling of and take the initiative/decisions of assigning service users to relevant groups/1-2-1 sessions based on outcome of assessment.
• Keep any relevant records for audit compliance.
• Collate information and complete the monthly/quarterly KPI data reports required by commissioning partner as stated within each individual contract.
•  Provide excellent customer service and be the first point of contact for telephone communication for our commissioning partners, service users and families and transfer enquiry to appropriate staff member if unable to resolve query themselves.
