The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking an Area Giving and Finance Advisor (Kensington) to play a key role within the Area Finance team, based at Causton Street.

Job Summary

The Area Giving and Finance Advisor provides comprehensive finance support to churches within the Kensington Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. Main duties

• Working with the team to deliver the Trust’s impact strategy. The Project Officer supports the effective delivery of HACT’s community-focused programmes, with a particular emphasis on operational coordination, partner engagement, and service administration. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the role ensures that project activities—such as voucher distribution, data management, and partner communications—are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with organisational standards.

This role blends project management and client relationship management, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively, with a primary focus on ensuring HACT successfully delivers the objectives for the Fuel Fund programme. The postholder will act as a key point of contact for partners, manage administrative processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

Job Purpose

To coordinate and administer the delivery of HACT’s community support projects, with a focus on the Fuel Fund and related initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate processing of partner requests and maintaining strong relationships with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and other stakeholders. The Project Officer plays a vital role in ensuring that residents receive support efficiently via our partners, while contributing to the overall success and impact of HACT’s programmes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general administration of the Fuel Fund
• Be the primary point of contact for all Fuel Fund queries (internal and external)
• Manage Expression of Interest requests from Housing Associations, local authorities and third sector organisations, ensuring they meet the qualifying criteria and terms of the Fund
• Manage voucher requests, ensuring they meet qualifying criteria, and issuing to referral partners across the UK
• Manage, and evolve as needed, quality control processes
• Manage collation of reporting data from Housing Associations and other referral partners

Job Accountabilities

Complete fuel fund and voucher allocations as per agreed timelines.

Ensure projects operate with a sufficient number of sector partners, for example the number of housing associations referring into the fuel fund.

Monitor and review project reach and impact, using this learning to shape any new methods of delivery, e.g. pilots with other sector partners to reach new audiences.

Collaborate with colleagues to communicate the project opportunities and learning at regular intervals, contributing to the wider thought leadership and collaboration objectives of the Communities team.

Maintain positive relationships with project funder(s), by sharing project data in line with agreements.

Ensure high quality delivery of the project, ensuring robust systems are in place to record activity and monitor compliance with the terms and conditions of the project, improving systems as needed, to support partner engagement and voucher redemption.

Coordinate and lead day to day communications with sector partners participating in the project and ensure feedback is collected and reviewed from project partners and beneficiaries.

The Fuel Fund programme must have dedicated resource at all times during the working week (Monday Friday) and as such, annual leave needs to be coordinated with colleagues in the team to ensure the programme is sufficiently resourced throughout the year.

You will work closely with our existing team, supporting the delivery and organisation of the IntoUniversity programme in the centre.

The main duties of the role

To deliver the IntoUniversity programme effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.

• To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.
• To assist the IntoUniversity Centre Leader in liaising with schools and other partner bodies, in organising the classroom and resources and in planning project delivery. 
• To update and maintain IntoUniversity displays, publicity and resources.
• To work with the IntoUniversity Centre Leader to recruit children and young people to the programme, including after-school Academic Support and FOCUS Weeks. 
• To develop educational resources and worksheets for use across all IntoUniversity programmes. 
• To ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and legal requirements, including the Children’s Act,  Children and Young People (Scotland) Act, Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act, Protection of Vulnerable  Groups (Scotland) Act, and legislation and policies related to Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety.

You will be employed 188 days (of 4 hours each) per year, made up as follows: 

• 164 days of work (inclusive of additional days below)
• 18 days of paid annual leave (to be taken outside of local school term times and on any bank holidays  occurring during term time). For the avoidance of doubt, non-working time during school holidays which is in excess of your holiday entitlement shall be unpaid.

Additional 32 hours (or 8 days of 4 hours each)

These will be agreed between you and your line-manager, and may include days during school holidays. They will typically include three whole team meetings, one delivery team meeting and the annual staff conference. These will be pro-rated based on when you join in the academic year.

For one of the UK's leading Housing Associations, we're recruiting their Supply Chain Director. Reporting to the CFO, this is a key leadership role leading the strategic transformation of Supply Chain management across the organisation. The Supply Chain Director will lead a central team of 4, whilst working strategically with the wider Heads of Procurement and Commercial teams to set the Supply Chain strategy, and develop, embed, and continuously improve the Supply Chain framework across 4000 suppliers and £1.5Bn spend.

Main Duties:

• Leading and setting the strategic plan for Supply Chain, operating within a 'hub and spoke' model
• Lead the development of a robust category management approach (which will be delivered by 'spokes') to streamline vendor relationships and reduce risk
• Develop Group-wide Supply Chain framework (end-to-end), ensuring alignment to corporate strategy, legislation and category management
• Ensure Supply Chain framework is embedded, and subject to continuous improvement
• Apply data and insight to inform and drive decision-making across spend landscape, supplier rationalisation, and efficiency savings across the Supply Chain framework
