Key Responsibilities
Support and Equip Church Partners
- Work with the wider Church Partnerships Team to meet key strategic goals to build social transformation across the church in the UK.
- Manage working relationships with caseload of partner churches within a region of the UK to ensure programme delivery flourishes, that the church has ongoing support and feels connected to Resurgo, and feels ownership and vision in relation to the programmes their church runs.
- Liaise with church partners regarding fundraising challenges, providing strategic support and connecting them to the wider Resurgo team for further assistance around key challenges.
Line Management, Team Training and Development of Spear Centre staff
- Manage Spear Centre Managers, through regular 1-1s, reviewing KPI’s and helping them troubleshoot challenges.
- Oversee the overall performance management for church partners in a region, delivering feedback regularly, reporting on key performance indicators and running reviews at intervals throughout the year.
- Work with the Impact team to identify training needs, then design and run training initiatives to meet these needs, including all-team training days, role-specific training streams, and volunteer training.
Curriculum Development
- Engage with wider national policy around NEETs and unemployment to ensure we are at the cutting edge within the sector.
- Develop programme curricula across all our programmes.

Internal comms (50%)
· Support colleagues from across the organisation to develop communications plans for initiatives and change projects.

QAC is a charity that runs a college, supported living (known as Independence Plus) and community services for young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities.
The College has been at its current location since 1903. Our original purpose was to provide education for young people who were blind or visually impaired. Today, in addition to supporting people who have a visual impairment, we offer education, support and guidance for students on the autism spectrum, those with moderate to severe learning difficulties, and students with physical and other disabilities. We have a large, skilled and diverse staff team who can meet a diverse range of student needs. As QAC has grown, we now have new educational and learning sites. As well as the more well-known campus in Harborne, there is the QAC Pinewood campus (dedicated to employment progression) in nearby Woodgate valley and in addition, QAC Umberslade campus (dedicated to horticulture and outdoor learning), in nearby Selly Oak. QAC offers a broad range of study programmes that are tailored to ensure each student receives the educational, therapeutic and support services that they require, helping them achieve their aspirations for adult life.
Our supported living programmes (Independent Plus) and Community Services offers support after leaving college and to those from within the local community. The marketing and communications team is responsible for marketing QAC services with the main focus being on student recruitment. Following a recent re-brand, the post holder will also be integral in ensuring an efficient and effective roll out of the new branding.

About the opportunity
Critical to our mission, we are looking to recruit a South West and South East Programme Manager to be responsible for three geographical areas and the schools within them, and to support further geographical expansion. You will oversee your region’s Action Tutoring programmes, liaising with our partner schools and developing new school partnerships, whilst supporting your team of Programme Coordinators to engage pupils and support them to build relationships and retain a strong pool of volunteer tutors.
As a Programme Manager, you will line manage Programme Coordinators to ensure they effectively manage their caseload of schools, whilst driving the quality of programmes and ensuring that the delivery of programmes meets organisational KPIs. This role will take a lead on new school recruitment, regularly pitching to Senior Leaders within schools and managing school partnerships within your region to ensure Action Tutoring’s growth targets are met. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider leadership of the Action Tutoring programme team, lead on programme-specific projects to support the programme department's priorities and will be expected to support the wider learning and development needs of the Programme Coordinator team.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working with people who have a frontline role, gets energy from pitching to schools and wants to increase their management experience in an exciting and rapidly developing charity. The successful candidate should be able to manage their own workload to a high standard as well as support others, have excellent attention to detail, be adaptable, relational and used to problem-solving and be able to work well with a range of stakeholders and be confident carrying out administrative tasks to support programme delivery.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensuring that there are a sufficient number of partner schools in the South West and South East according to growth and income targets, by creatively finding new ways to partner and pitch to new school leads
·Ensuring that the Programme Coordinator team accurately collects and records vital data for impact reporting purposes, through confident use of Action Tutoring’s database, processes and systems.
· Lead on reviewing and improving programme delivery in the South West and South East through regular visits to schools and programmes. Using data to reliably assess programme performance and engaging with quality assurance processes to drive impact.
· Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in Action Tutoring’s partner schools in the South West and South East, including members of the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring strong retention of school partnerships each academic year.
· Take a lead, with support from others in Action Tutoring, on networking in the South West and South East. This could include connecting and attending events with other charities, universities and other organisations to build Action Tutoring’s presence locally.
· Work closely with the Marketing, Communication and Engagement teams to establish and maintain volunteer recruitment opportunities and channels in the South West and South East.
· Develop strategies, meet with new leads and attend events to ensure a sufficient supply of high- quality tutors for your region, effectively managing your tutor pool and signing tutors up to programmes.
· Lead on projects that support the programme department’s priorities and strategy, dependent on your individual skills e.g. safeguarding, curriculum, data.

The Role
The foundation is a registered charity which exists to improve the quality of life of people (children, young people and adults) with severe learning disabilities whose behaviour challenges and the families who support them.
We are currently looking for a Co-production & Engagement Lead to deliver a 3-year project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Working closely with a small friendly staff team, and 3 regional family carers (specifically employed for this project), you will be responsible for developing 3 regional networks across England, sharing best practice locally and nationally, linking with the Challenging Behaviour – National Strategy Group, and ensuring co-production and family carer engagement is promoted and embedded as best practice.
About You
You will have up to date and relevant knowledge and/or experience of children’s and/or adult policy and practices (learning disabilities) across health, education and social care and be fully committed to working in co-production and supporting family carers to fully engage as partners in the process to achieve the best outcomes.
A proven project manager, who thinks strategically and has the ability to work with a range of stakeholders across multiple sites, You will need to be highly organised, skilled at project management, knowledgeable about current policy and practices, and a confident communicator adept at influencing a wide range of stakeholders.

The Challenging Behaviour Foundation was set up in 1997 by Vivien Cooper OBE, the parent of a child with severe learning disabilities who displayed a range of challenging behaviours. At the time, there was no support for families like Viv’s and no adequate provision to support her son – other than almost three hundred miles away!

TAWS is an organisation in which change is a constant, and the successful candidate will need to be able to prioritise and change priorities very quickly. In a small HR team you will have the opportunity to gain experience in lots of the components of the HR machine. The HR Adviser will deputise for the Head of HR with the aspiration to be their successor in due course.

Main duties
- Work with our managers and leaders to deliver their people priorities. Aligning with the core TAWS values
- Support and coach Managers with ER matters, but ultimately work with managers to design systems and processes that encourage managers to take ownership of managing their teams

Job Summary
We expect this role to focus on developing and maintaining relationships with key funders, stakeholders, institutions and individuals. The Finance Officer will be involved in all aspects of the charity’s financial operations, this is a very broad role. Annual Financial Audit
- Work with BSN, our accountants/auditors to produce the statutory accounts and planning of the year-end audit.
Bank and Treasury Management

- Manage cash flow to ensure that the level of interest received is as high as possible and that bank charges are kept to a minimum.
- Ensuring Current Account balances are kept at a reasonable level.
Fundraising
· Ensure that the most tax-efficient solution is applied to fundraising income through gift aid and other schemes.

Communication and Coordination

Due to our continued growth and development, we have two exciting job opportunities for 2x Grants Officers to join our team. These roles support local communities and third sector organisations in accessing funding. As a Grants Officer, you won't just be processing applications—you'll be shaping the future of our funds and programmes working with communities and fundholders across the West Midlands.
What You'll Do:
You'll work alongside a team of seven Grants Officers, under the leadership of our Senior Manager – Programmes. Each day, you'll engage with projects, assessing applications, preparing for panel meetings and visiting the initiatives we support.
In your first weeks, we'll welcome you with an in-person induction at our Coventry office. Here, you'll meet your colleagues, shadow panels and dive deep into our grant-making ethos. Beyond the initial period, we welcome hybrid working with the requirement of joining the team in office two days each week – additional office days may be required for high priority meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities
New Business:
• Develop and Manage Pipeline: Build and oversee a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, navigating through the entire funding cycle.
• Identify and Cultivate Potential Support: Conduct research, prospecting, and cultivation to identify and attract potential corporate supporters.
• Diverse and Sustainable Pipeline: Perform horizon scanning to ensure our pipeline remains diverse and sustainable.
• Tailored Partnership Proposals: Create customised and persuasive partnership proposals and pitches.
• Expand Existing Partnerships: Leverage the potential of our current partners to develop new relationships.
• Cultivation Strategies: Implement and monitor effective corporate cultivation strategies, including prison-based events.
Account Management:
• Strengthen Relationships: Enhance our relationships and commitment with both existing and new partners.
• High-Quality Account Management: Provide top-tier account management to support continued commitment and growth, managing 10-14 current partners.
• Corporate Engagement Activities: Organise and execute corporate engagement activities, particularly prison-based, and collaborate with service colleagues to develop initiatives that meet the needs of those affected by imprisonment.
• Inspiring Reports and Updates: Produce compelling written reports and updates as part of partnership plans.
• By taking on this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the growth and sustainability of our corporate partnerships, ultimately contributing to the impactful work we do.
