As Finance Manager, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the integrity of our financial processes and systems, leading on fund and tax management, including relevant reporting and compliance.
You’ll oversee the administration and analysis of restricted and designated funds, ensuring accurate accounting and adherence to donor agreements and pump prime arrangements. As a member of the Admissions & support team, you will be supporting the recruitment and development of new social workers, who will then go onto change the lives of vulnerable children and families. You will play a key role in supporting the completion of all suitability checks (conduct, health and previous social care involvement) for Approach Social Work applicants, managing competing deadlines and multiple applicant cases at any one time.
The role requires a qualified social worker with experience of statutory practice and ideally substantial working knowledge of implementing reasonable adjustments in practice. About Bright Futures UK
Bright Futures UK supports children and young people aged 5 to 24 whose education has been disrupted due to serious long-term physical or mental health conditions. We offer online one-to-one tutoring, befriending, and mentoring programmes, as well as group programmes including hospital workshops, industry events, and advocacy actions initiatives. Working in close partnership with hospitals, families, and other services, we ensure that children and young people experiencing health-related challenges are not left behind.
Role Overview
This is a key role in the delivery of our online personalised programme. The Coordinator will oversee the children and young people referral pathway, acting as the first point of contact for new referrals and guiding children, young people, and their families, educators, or hospital contacts through every stage of the onboarding process.
You will be responsible for gathering detailed and sensitive information about each young person’s health, education, and wellbeing, to ensure the support they receive is tailored, appropriate, and trauma-informed. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records is a central part of this role. You will also line manage the Personalised Programme Coordinators, work closely with the wider Programme and Volunteer Teams, and play a key role in external outreach and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Referral and Programme Oversight
- Act as the lead contact for all incoming referrals, including those from hospitals, statutory services, community organisations, and families
- Hold safe, compassionate, and confidential conversations with CYPs to understand their needs and gather relevant information around education, physical health, and mental wellbeing

About the Role
It is an exciting time in Chance UK’s history. Following the launch this year of our new Organisational Strategy, A Chance to Belong, we are expanding our Impact and evaluation team for the exciting times ahead. We are proud to be a learning organisation. Our programmes are rooted in a proved evidence base, and our impact has been proven to be both significant and long lasting. The Impact and Evaluation Manager will join us at an exciting time. Following our strategic review, expanded service offer and new operating model we will be working with leading social researchers to ensure that our evaluation tools, processes, systems and data sets continue to be fit for purpose and develop a whole organisation theory of change and value for money framework. Beyond this vital workstream, the Impact and Evaluation Manager will strengthen our ability to elevate the voices and experience of young people and their families as we look to strengthen the system, and, using our evidence base, speak to the short mid- and long-term benefits of early intervention and prevention in key sector debates including but not exclusively behaviour and attendance policies in schools.
You will play a vital role in supporting the organisation continue to monitor and understand the impact of our work and provide insight reports to inform decision making.

About this job
It is a very exciting time to join the MS Society as Head of Individual Giving. We are implementing an ambitious cross-organisational transformation programme. And we have just started a new 2025-29 strategy. Income Generation and Individual Giving are central to both.
We are transforming our approach to engagement to grow and deepen relationships with all our audiences. This creates an opportunity to integrate our approach to Engagement, Income Generation and Individual Giving. So we can increase our financial supporter base. Grow and diversify long-term sustainable income to deliver transformational impact for the MS Community. And contribute to our ultimate vision of a world free from MS.
We are looking for someone to provide strategic and operational leadership to Individual Giving. Someone who can work collaboratively across the organisation to lead and drive forward our ambition to increase our financial supporter-base and increase income.
You will act as the leading authority on matters relating to Individual Giving, providing advice across the organisation including to the Director of Income Generation, and cross-organisational Income Generation Activity Group.
You will enable the delivery of the transformation Individual Giving workstream. And have strategic ownership of the Individual Giving programme, including income-related activities and KPIs within the engagement calendar, and customer experience and journeys relating to financial supporters
You will lead on Individual Giving planning and budget setting, contributing to the overall business planning process for Income Generation.

Working closely with the Trusts Officer and Trusts Lead, you will secure vital funding from Trusts and Foundations to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally.
As the Trusts Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of five-figure Trust donors and take ownership of relationships to secure funding from both existing and new supporters. You will also support the Trusts Officer to deliver bi-annual Small Trusts Mailings and the Trusts Lead to deliver significant partnerships.
