CEO Role Summary:

The CEO provides strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality inclusive arts provision whilst overseeing operations, staff, fundraising, compliance and partnerships. They act as the organisation’s ambassador and contribute to the planning and delivery of both our charitable and business orientated objectives, reporting directly to the Board of Trustees.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic, Leadership and Planning -

· Lead organisation, strategic management and business development

· Develop programmes aligned with community’s needs

· Review and direct a clear business plan with Trustees

· Represent CF at events, in the media and with stakeholders

· Liaise with beneficiaries, Council/NHS staff, Charity Commission, Companies House

Programme and Partnership Oversight -

Fundraising and Communications -

· Lead fundraising strategy, applications with Fundraising Manager and other staff

· Cultivate new relationships with funding bodies and stakeholders

· Represent CF to funders, media, and the public

· Approve marketing and promotional materials

· Attend networking events to explore collaborative funding

Operations and Compliance -

· Oversee facilities, H&S compliance and sustainability

· Incorporate all Charity Commission and Companies House updates

· Maintain tenancy relationship with Barnet Council

· Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and Data Protection Officer (ICO)

· Ensure all risk assessments and safeguarding incidents are documented

Finance and Governance -

· Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports

· Oversee financial control, resource efficiency, and long-term planning

· Lead on new business income generation strategies, including art sales

· Report financial and strategic performance to the Board of Trustees quarterly

· Ensure timely delivery of board papers and assist trustees/directors development

Personal Specification

Essential:

- Demonstratable senior leadership experience in arts, community or inclusive sectors

- Strategic, empathetic, and confident leadership

- Proven fundraising, HR, and financial planning experience

- Knowledge of safeguarding, H&S, and regulatory compliance

- Skilled in managing staff, freelancers, and creative practitioners

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Have a creative mindset with a passion for arts and culture

Desirable:

- Experience in London Borough of Barnet or other local networks

About this role

This role is 20 hours per week, worked part-time over 5 days Monday-Friday. Suggested working times are 10am-2pm however this can be flexible for the right candidate. The part-time salary for this role is £16,250 (£26,000 FTE for organisation 32 hours working week).

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a range of office management and administrative duties to support Causeway’s housing and support functions. About the role

• Lead on establishing and maintaining a ‘single source of the truth’ on arthritis and musculoskeletal statistics and data within the charity and beyond. This includes our annual State of MSK Health statistics report and other statistics publications.
• Support on the development and delivery of a pipeline of insightful MSK and health data analysis and quantitative research, to better understand the UK population with arthritis and MSK conditions and to inform the direction of Versus Arthritis’ ambitions, strategy, policy and services work.

About The Role

You will provide full administrative support to the Legal Team, including taking telephone calls, secretarial duties, data entry, note taking, sorting the post and managing diaries. You will also be responsible for supporting the wider team when required to ensure the effective running of the service. Producing reports, providing an accurate audio typing service, processing legal funding and other documents, managing files, preparing documents for court and entering information onto a case management system are other aspects of this interesting and varied role.

About You

You have secretarial experience gained in a legal practice and audio/copy typing skills with a minimum of 70 wpm, along with advanced knowledge of IT tools including case management systems and MS Office systems.  You have great written and verbal communication skills and enjoy working as part of a busy team.

About The Team

Shelter Legal provide legal expertise and representation across our Services and is made of four teams - Community Legal, Strategic Litigation, National Legal and Legal Support. The National Legal Team works closely with our national Telephone and Online Advice Service  (TOAS) to identify trends in the issues our clients are presenting with and provide targeted legal work to address them.

We are looking for a Housing Mobile Night Worker to provide floating support to our teams in high support 24-hour projects as well as medium support and transitional housing units to ensure that our properties are safe, secure, and welcoming through the night.

You will be based at Lansworth House and will support the static night worker there during the night as well as undertaking your mobile duties across Brighton, Hove and Worthing.

Working on site you will be responsible for ensuring the service is safe by keeping clear records of night time activity within the building. You will regularly complete building checks and monitor CCTV upkeeping health and safety regulations in accordance with YMCA DLG's policies and procedures.  You will work to prevent any anti-social behaviour from impacting our neighbours and other residents. You will work alongside other support staff to maximise the wellbeing of residents by completing one to one interventions with young people who may be experiencing mental health crisis and/or who may need medical assistance.

This is a mobile role, requiring all applicants to have a full valid, UK Driving Licence. You will also be lone working as part of the role, so you will need to be comfortable with decision making and following procedures.

The role

This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operational delivery of a wide range of training programmes and workshops, both online and in person, for early career researchers across the UK and internationally.

At Ambitious about Autism we're currently looking for a Community Fundraising Manager to join our Fundraising team.

You'll be the driving force behind the growth and success of this important income stream. You will inspire the communities in which we work to make a meaningful difference to the lives of autistic children and young people. You will have proven experience of exceptional relationship management and be able to think creatively to inspire community groups, schools, individuals and local businesses.

You'll develop and implement community fundraising strategies and identify, approach and cultivate relationships with community groups, schools, local businesses and individuals. Community Fundraising will play a key role in successfully delivering Ambitious about Autism's wider 2025-28 Fundraising Strategy. We are looking for a passionate self-starter with exceptional relationship building skills that feels excited at the prospect of shaping the future of Community Fundraising at Ambitious about Autism.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience of building and growing Community Fundraising income
• Experience of developing and delivering fundraising strategies
• Experience of planning and implementing successful Community Fundraising programmes including setting and meeting financial and supporter cultivation targets
• Excellent planning, project management and organisational skills

About you

You are a highly skilled financial analyst with advanced Excel capabilities and experience using business intelligence tools. You thrive on interpreting and visualising complex data, automating processes, and creating actionable insights for both financial and non-financial colleagues. You are adept at managing multiple priorities, possess exceptional attention to detail, and are committed to data integrity. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, Internal financial Reporting and cross-system reconciliations is essential, and charity sector experience would be an advantage.

About the role

In this role, you will deliver advanced, data-driven insights that inform strategic and operational decisions across CARE International UK. You will design and maintain financial models, produce impactful reports and dashboards, and lead the automation of reporting processes to enhance efficiency. You will play a role as part of the team in annual budgeting and forecasting, cross-system reconciliations, and process improvements. Collaborating across fundraising, programmes, and support teams, you will act as a centre of expertise for analytics, supporting colleagues in best practice reporting and analysis. To succeed, you will need strong analytical and technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Right now, we are looking for a Domestic and Sexual Violence Caseworker to play a pivotal role in our Newham Domestic and Sexual Violence Support Service.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The Newham Domestic and Sexual Violence Support Service is a community-based initiative offering integrated support to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse, sexual violence, forced marriage, honour-based violence, female genital mutilation, or violence related to sex work. Delivered in partnership with local agencies, the service uses approaches such as casework, Independent Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy (IDSVA), and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) to provide holistic, person-centred care. Its aim is to not only assist survivors directly but also to raise awareness within the community about domestic and sexual violence and the support available.

The role involves delivering tailored support through safety planning, risk and needs assessments, and one-to-one sessions, empowering survivors to make informed decisions and develop independent living skills. It requires working closely with multiple agencies to meet needs effectively, building strong relationships with community and statutory organisations, and contributing to good practice and policy development. Service user involvement is promoted through events, networking, fundraising, and consultations, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. Here's what the team will be looking for

It calls for experience in working with vulnerable individuals, especially those involved in both on- and off-street sex work, along with a strong understanding of the challenges they face and the barriers to accessing services. The role requires the ability to support people who have experienced trauma, as well as excellent verbal, written, and IT skills. A good grasp of safeguarding issues and their practical application is essential, alongside knowledge of health and social care services and the legal framework relating to sex work. A valid driving licence is also required.

In line with Section 7(2) b & e of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975, this position is open to women only.

Role Purpose
 
As the Volunteer Centre Team Leader, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of our on-site Volunteer Centre in Cannock. This inclusive, vibrant space welcomes up to 32 volunteers daily (Monday to Friday), supporting the preparation of stock donated by retail partners for sale in our 9 UK charity shops.
 
You’ll lead a small team of Volunteer Support Assistants, coordinate volunteer activities, oversee quality and safety standards, and help cultivate an environment where every volunteer feels valued and supported. This hands-on role also includes some physical work, such as moving stock and roll cages.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Volunteer Centre.
• Line manage and support three Volunteer Support Assistants.
• Supervise and guide volunteers, including corporate and group volunteers.
• Allocate tasks and stock appropriately, considering individual skill levels and abilities.
• Ensure accurate processing of stock according to guidance.
