SignHealth is a passionate and unique deaf-led charity, committed to creating a future where there are no barriers to good health and wellbeing for deaf people.
Our work is varied and aims to promote easier access to healthcare and information. We partner with the NHS and other services and take on projects, carry out research, and raise awareness. As Business Development Manager, you will drive SignHealth’s growth by securing funding and building partnerships with government bodies, statutory funders, and key partners. Your work will help expand deaf-led services in mental health, domestic abuse, social care, and children and young people’s support.
You will identify new funding opportunities, craft compelling bids and tenders, and support service sustainability through strategic development. Your key priorities will include:
- Increasing bid capacity within the Business Development team to obtain more funding.

Purpose of the role:

Recording and monitoring fundraising data using our Fundraising Tracking Database

Keeping all of our grant agreements, contracts and other relevant documentation well-organised on GDrive and elsewhere

Ensuring compliance with the financial requirements of the grant agreements, and updating and maintaining the grant payments schedule

About you:

The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

Purpose of the job
Working across the Network Delivery Department, you will support the efficient day to day administration and co-ordination of the teams. You will play a critical role providing administrative and co-ordination support for the Network Delivery Department ensuring we have strong processes and ways of working to deliver our ambitious goals. You will support individual project teams to deliver specific work streams to help us enable all young people to thrive.
Key responsibilities
Provide administrative and coordination support to the Network Delivery Department to ensure the smooth running of the Department. This includes but is not limited to:

Support the implementation of new systems and processes across the Department and ensure all are kept up to date

Maintain team and departmental inboxes and provide first point of contact for enquiries, working across the team to ensure efficient communication and stakeholder satisfaction

Provide logistical and administrative support to Project Managers relating to the delivery of our youth work programmes and activities with our networks

Administrative duties including scheduling meetings, minute taking and booking venues/ catering

Coordinate logistics for the delivery of events and public affairs activity related to the department

Support ongoing work on departmental process improvement and new filing systems on SharePoint

Manage and maintain databases and CRM; champion CRM use across the department

Maintaining budgets, as appropriate

Booking and arranging travel for young people participating in our programmes

Manage departmental meetings and support with arranging team away days

Your new role
- To manage the services, resources and operations of the Library, ensuring the efficient and professional delivery of innovative and customer-focused library and information services to staff and students.
- Provide day-to-day management and effective leadership of the Library team, undertaking the full range of management responsibilities, ensuring their effective working against institutional priorities. This includes managing performance, conducting annual performance and development reviews, identifying training and development needs, workforce and succession planning, staff recruitment and induction.
- Work with academic staff and students to develop a comprehensive understanding of resource demands and ensure that resources and collections meet the learning and research needs of the institution.
