Role Requirements

• Assist in the recruitment process for Nursing and Care roles, including posting job advertisements, collecting applications, and assisting with shortlisting and arranging interviews.
• Provide support in the onboarding process for new staff, including preparing induction materials and coordinating with the People Team to ensure all pre-employment checks are completed.
• Support the coordination of the international recruitment programme by liaising with the recruitment and compliance teams to ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
• Maintain records of staff absence, including sickness and vacancies, and assist the Business Support Manager in liaising with relevant teams to arrange bank/locum/agency cover as required as well as the required inputs on SMI.

Working Hours

Our Young People need care 24/7 so we have fixed rotas, with staff needing to be able to commit to weekends and bank holidays.

For Waking Night support staff; shifts are 11.5 hours from 20:00 - 07:30 or 21:00 - 08:30, on average you will be working 40 hours a week.

There is always the possibility to do overtime if you need a bit extra, this is paid time and half; same as bank holidays.

About the Minster Centre

The Minster Centre is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee that provides training in psychotherapy and counselling and an affordable therapy service.

It was founded in 1978 as the first Integrative psychotherapy and counselling training in the UK and is a leading psychotherapy training institution. Role purpose

The Minster Centre is seeking to develop and further professionalise its operations and is recruiting to a new Head of Finance role. This is a part-time, flexible role for two days per week in the first instance. Some time in the office will be needed to work alongside other staff and key stakeholders – this can be managed flexibly alongside working from home. The role would therefore suit someone who wants to balance an interesting and senior role alongside other responsibilities or interests.

The Head of Finance will oversee the financial operations of the charity, owning and ensuring compliance to financial policies and procedures. You will provide strategic financial guidance to the Management Committee and contribute to the delivery of the charity’s financial strategies.

Early priorities will be:

• A review of existing financial policies and procedures to support the ongoing effective running of the charity.

• To enable the voices of Springfield Project service users and other local residents to be heard and acted upon both within the Springfield Project and in the wider neighbourhood/ community
• To proactively engage with local residents and partners to identify issues affecting the local community, gaps in current provision and to support the co-production of new services/ activities that meet local needs.
• To amplify the voices of Sparkhill residents to ensure representation in local and city-wide systems
• To develop, implement and maintain creative and effective communication methods and tools to promote opportunities for engagement and participation in Springfield Project activities and in the wider neighbourhood, including outreach to those that might be marginalised by traditional approaches
• To coordinate the Sparkhill Child Friendly Neighbourhood Youth Advisory Board, ensuring young people are empowered and enabled to participate, to act on issues that are important to them and ensuring that they have ownership of the group and the activity that develops from the group.

We are a large and innovative organisation that is always trying to develop new ways to foster community and connect our residents with what matters to them.

We are specifically looking for a new member of the team to work with our residents living with dementia and while this does present particular challenges the rewards are also particularly high.

This is a job of tremendous variety and possibilities and requires individuals who have the energy, people skills and logistical know-how to bring the right ideas to fruition. Experience of working in care is not a necessity and we would welcome candidates with a diverse range of people-facing experiences and those with creative backgrounds. Experience of supporting people with dementia or other neurological conditions would be desirable.

We are looking for a visionary and strategic Digital Movement Building Strategist to lead our digital organising, narrative change, and storytelling work at Power to Prosper. Job Purpose
• Leading the development and growth of corporate fundraising and corporate partnerships
• Create, develop and deliver the corporate fundraising and partnerships strategy

Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a corporate fundraising and partnerships strategy

2. Shape and implement the wider Fundraising Strategy in collaboration with the Director and SLT.

3. Lead income forecasting, budget setting, reporting and analysis, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

4. Lead a proactive acquisition approach and drive new business activity and secure at least five-figure partnerships and donations

5. Build and maintain a strong, diverse pipeline of corporate prospects

6. Work with teams across the organisation to develop and prepare tailored cases for support, proposals and reports and bespoke updates and communications to donors

7. Personally identify and manage a portfolio of key relationships

We have recently implemented a new HR/Payroll system – itrent, reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting with running the monthly payroll, dealing with starters, leavers, pension enrolments, opt outs etc. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll all-rounder to join our team. You will be involved in embedding our electronic timesheet system. There is a real opportunity to help stabilize the payroll function for the organization and complete our fully digital payroll service.

Main Responsibilities:

· To collate and check monthly payroll data for input to the payroll processing system

· To assist with running the monthly payroll, calculate pay, organise the workload and meet  

monthly payment deadlines.

· Processing monthly Pension Auto enrolments, opt outs and queries

· Assist on monthly reconciliations and year-end reconciliations.

• Relevant experience in payroll processing, computer literacy including competency in excel  and a good understanding of computerised HR/Payroll (MHR - itrent) and accounting systems (SUN).
• The ability to input information quickly with attention to detail and prioritising work to meet tight deadlines.
