About the role
We are looking to recruit a Youth Outreach Worker in London for a new role within our UK Safeguarding on Transport Programme. This is a 12-month outreach pilot engaging and safeguarding young people in and around Waterloo Station, helping identify and safeguard young people under 18 years at risk of criminal and sexual exploitation, county lines, missing from home, homelessness or family breakdown. This role does involve working regular unsociable hours including evenings and weekends.
You will be working to identify and safeguard young people alongside trained volunteers and by engaging with key partners such as Southwestern Railway (SWR) Met Police, Southbank Staff, Train Operators, Youth Service and other local stakeholders.
You’ll play a key role in the development of our UK Programme and part of a dynamic team delivering Railway Children’s programme in the UK.

What we’re looking for
You will have experience of successfully engaging and supporting young people and families as well as experience of working in an outreach or similar setting, in a creative and engaging way with young people with a range of needs and vulnerabilities.
Alongside this you will be able to work effectively with partners to safeguard young people, who can work with 3rd sector groups and the local community.
You will have completed relevant training, experience in safeguarding and in the issues relevant to vulnerable young and families. Therefore, you will be an experienced practitioner with an excellent understanding of safeguarding processes and procedures, who is able to work creatively, independently and within professional boundaries.

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Data Operations Executive to join our Data Import Team in our wider Customer Engagement and Experience Team. This role is an integral part of the team who support the important work of the organisation as well as representing and delivering value to all our audiences, both internal and external.
In this role, you’ll get involved in a variety of important database activities — from handling large data imports and automated routines, working with personal and financial data, to making sure customer relationships are maintained by managing queries and interactions from different sources. You’ll be responsible for coding, resolving and importing bulk data exceptions into our Raiser’s Edge database using tools such as Message Broker ETL and ImportOmatic, as well as managing ad hoc manual data imports from platforms like Just Giving, Benevity and Everyclick.
You’ll use our CRM and other platforms to work with live data from our donors and supporters. This includes monitoring data feeds, downloading and uploading regular data files, and reporting any issues to the Data Import Manager. You’ll also play an active part in maintaining and improving data quality through regular housekeeping, data cleansing and updates, helping to ensure everything’s accurate, consistent and compliant with GDPR, Gift Aid regulations and internal policies.
As a key link between the Customer Experience Team and the database team, you’ll support positive customer experiences and help keep information flowing smoothly across the organisation. You’ll also assist with internal data requests, contribute to wider organisational projects and provide training and guidance on database processes to team members and other staff.

What we want from you
We’re looking for a Data Operations Executive with good customer communications and a positive, proactive approach to team activities, problem-solving and time management.

We are seeking candidates who have experience working in a finance function and have skills in office management and administration including data processing. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and Corporate Services, the role provides support in bookkeeping, credit control (inputting of sales and purchases invoices), health and safety and smooth running of the office (ranging from ensuring there is milk in the fridge to ordering stationery as well as IT requirements). As the main point of contact for callers and visitors an awareness of excellent customer service will also be needed. Working within our International Partnerships, Programmes and Research (IPPR) team, the Senior Programme Development Officer will secure income for Peace Direct through research, development and management of relationships with new and existing funders. The post holder will proactively identify new funders, write proposals and reports and steward relationships to secure and maintain the funding necessary for Peace Direct to achieve its organisational goals. This includes programmatic, research, advocacy and strategic funding, working with restricted and unrestricted grants from institutional and trust and foundation funders ranging from £1,000 to £1m+. The role is for someone with an enthusiasm for working with funders, with a strong track record of successfully securing grants from trusts, foundations and/or institutional donors. You will have strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail and be capable of working effectively and efficiently to tight deadlines. A strong affinity with peacebuilding and an interest in challenging the way the international cooperation and peacebuilding sectors works would be beneficial, as would language skills in French, Spanish and/or Arabic.

The Role
Reporting to Director of Finance and Operations, the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis plays a critical leadership role in shaping IIED’s financial strategy and enabling data-informed decision-making. About You

About the Role
The Lead Lawyer - Africa Death Penalty Team is responsible for coordinating Reprieve’s litigation and advocacy in Sub-Saharan Africa. At the moment, the team works on death penalty casework and abolition advocacy in Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya.
Our casework includes work on appeals to the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal in the context of historic denials of a right to appeal and related contextual challenges; large-scale projects, such as the Kenya resentencing project, wherein we support stakeholders to ensure 5,000+ people are able to access a chance at reducing their sentence from death via a new sentence hearing, as well as supporting on individual strategic resentencing cases; and long-term regional projects, such as our strategic litigation before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, which challenges the mandatory death penalty, torture, and other associated violations of the African Charter. This is an opportunity to join a team that has developed groundbreaking work with great success in getting people off death row, making significant contribution to legal reforms and towards abolition.

Length and Salary
This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £52,088 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.
Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. This is a role that may require travel and work outside of core office hours from time to time.

The Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, the Financial Controller will lead IIED’s core finance operations, ensuring integrity in financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and sound financial controls. As a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, you will manage financial operations, audit, balance sheet oversight, and regulatory compliance, while driving improvements in systems, processes, and reporting.
You will lead and mentor a team of finance professionals covering financial accounting, treasury, transactional finance and statutory compliance, and work closely with colleagues across programmes and operations to ensure strong financial stewardship and timely, accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and oversee all financial accounting and finance operations
- Ensure statutory compliance and audit readiness
- Strengthen internal controls and financial policies
- Manage treasury and cashflow

About You
To be considered as our Financial Controller, you will need to be:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role, ideally within the charity, NGO, or international development sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial accounting, statutory reporting, and UK charity accounting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a finance team.
- Experience managing audits, regulatory compliance, and risk management in complex organisations.
- Excellent financial systems skills and experience improving processes and controls.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across finance and non-finance teams.
