The Role
In April 2021 the Domestic Abuse Act received Royal Assent. The Act introduces a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Notice (DAPN) to provide immediate protection following a domestic abuse incident, and a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) to provide flexible, longer-term protection for victims. DAPOs can impose both prohibitions and positive requirements on perpetrators. We were commissioned by the Home Office to design a triage model that will assess individuals for the suitability of these interventions; this triage model will be rolled out in the pilot sites which are going live in May 2024 and will be tested and evaluated in order to prepare for national roll out in 2026.The Programme Manager will oversee the roll out and delivery of the DAPO pilot Triage Model.

The Opportunity

Key responsibilities of the MI Data Systems Manager include:
- Supporting the Deputy Director and Senior Systems Manager to develop, implement and manage the MI service.
- Monitoring of data integrity and quality within the database.
- Preparing the submission of mandatory management information to the Department for Education within set deadlines and to national standards.
- Supporting a MI helpline to users of the system.
- Interrogation of the database to conduct analysis and create reports.
- Developing and delivering training in the use of the database.
- Managing a team member.
- Taking lead responsibility for the production, analysis and presentation of MI reports.
- Maintaining a high level of understanding of all national requirements relating to the service.
- Contributing to effective teamwork and information sharing

About the role

The Role
The Senior Policy Officer will be involved in a variety of exciting policy work, including the development of three new sets of standards, the evaluation and development of the revalidation framework, stakeholder engagement, and work on the regulation of online pharmacy, amongst others. Our developed and respected Psychotherapy and Counselling Service has been providing long-term counselling interventions to local residents since 1988. The service is self-funded and offers a range of therapies which aim to provide individuals with the support and opportunity to work through their difficulties in depth with a skilled and experienced trainee or fully qualified therapist. We are looking for a skilled and qualified (or in advance training) counselling supervisor to provide clinical supervision, leadership, management and service development of our Psychotherapy and Counselling service. This is a significant part of the organisation’s overall Supporter Engagement Strategy which focuses specifically on unrestricted income generation. This role will raise unrestricted income through the development of Amref UK’s Major Gifts programme - the Mbele Movement - by identifying and cultivating new high net worth supporters, and inspiring them to make unrestricted, multi-year major gifts, in line with the Philanthropy Strategy. The Philanthropy Manager is also responsible for nurturing and growing our existing portfolio of philanthropists and philanthropic organisations by building strong relationships and securing unrestricted income in line with the Supporter Engagement Strategy.

The vacancy
Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Team Manager - Young People on a Permanent basis for two new Supported Housing Schemes in Lewisham, due to open in June 2024.
You, as the Team Manager will support a team of housing support workers to support our young customers to remain in their home and take an active part in the community.
Both schemes are part of Peabody's well established Young Persons and Complex Needs service in London and will provide temporary housing for young people who are homeless aged between 16 to 17 years.
What we’re looking for:
- Are you experienced in providing support as a senior support worker or as a team manager to people who have experienced trauma and have complex and challenging support needs?
- Do you have any previous experience in the housing support sector and a good knowledge of statutory and community services?
- Do you have some experience of managing and motivating a team to deliver a high-quality support service?
- Do you have experience of assessment and management of individual needs and risks?
