Job Description
Title: VOLUNTEER Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Reports directly to: Chief Executive Officer
Direct working relationships: C LEVEL, NATIONAL RESEARCH, POLICY, ETHICS, RESEARCH REPORTING AND LOCAL OPERATIONS.
Areas of Accountability and Responsibility:
❖ C Level oversight of Policy, Ethics and Research Reporting, National Operations and Local Operations (including projects and research)
❖ Operational Delivery & Efficiency
Core Duties:
❖ Oversee national and local operations
❖ Ensure efficient resource allocation
❖ Ensure ethical compliance
❖ Ensure of smooth delivery of projects and research
❖ Continuously optimizing systems and processes for maximum operational effectiveness
❖ Leading and support a c level portfolio
❖ Engaging in c level tasks to support the organisational progress
❖ Attending high level meetings and providing updates regularly
❖ Dealing with tasks referred to the COO and supporting Heads of Department and other management in their roles as required
❖ Stepping in to support others including other c level officers and direct reports
