About the role:

This is an exciting new business role which has emerged in our newly formed Philanthropy and Partnerships team. As our Partnerships Development Manager (New Business), you will be confident and credible at senior levels, adept at storytelling, relationship building and able to drive transformational philanthropic partnerships to secure five or six-figure and multi-year commitments. This will help take the organisation from an annual income of £10m to £15m over the next 3-5 years to accelerate and expand Hope and Homes for Children’s impact for children and families.

About Hope and Homes for Children:

We believe children belong in families, never orphanages. Because orphanages harm children. The majority of those who experience life inside an institution suffer violence, abuse and neglect. Denied the chance to grow up in a family, they’re more likely to become homeless later in life, to have run-ins with the law, and to experience mental and physical health issues.
 
The shocking truth is that these are almost always children who have, or could have, a family to look after them. To love them. But every day, a broken system puts pressure on parents to give up their children. They'll be safe from war, can escape poverty, will get an education. False promises. No child should have to trade their family for their future.
 
Today, over 5.4 million children are trapped within institutions. It’s not right and it must stop. Children deserve so much better. Always.
 
Since 1994, Hope and Homes for Children has been working to stop the institutionalisation of children. We’re approximately 240 people, in ten countries, inspiring organisations, including the UN, EU and governments around the world, to close the doors of orphanages forever. Instead, we fight for every child to feel the love and belonging of a safe family home.

At Yorkshire Cancer Community, our vision is for everyone affected by cancer to have the best support possible. We are a patient-led charity, with a dedicated team of volunteers and staff who are passionate about helping anyone affected by cancer.

Working in partnership with West Yorkshire & Harrogate Cancer Alliance (WYHCA), we aim to help reduce cancer rates through our Cancer SMART project, which raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer, so people are better informed, attend screening and know where to go for help.

Our Patient VIEW project is dedicated to representing the voices of patients, carers and service users, ensuring they are central to decision-making processes within cancer care.

We provide impartial and independent information and listen to those affected by cancer to ensure that they are supported.  We signpost to other charities and support groups, share information, recruit for research studies and share stories via our monthly newsletter.

As manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring we reach our goals, by building relationships with other charities, organisations and diverse groups, recruiting volunteers, working with our board of trustees, working in partnership with the WYHCA, and line management of our two staff members  – Patient VIEW coordinator (FT) and administrator (PT).

Position: Manager

Responsible to: Trustees, Yorkshire Cancer Community (YCC)

Location: Home based - the charity covers all of Yorkshire and the Humber but the main projects and focus are currently within West Yorkshire and Harrogate areas and the postholder will be expected to travel to meetings and events

Hours: 35 hours per week (full time) with some flexibility

Salary: £32,000 - £36,400 depending upon experience + pension 5% employer contribution

Key Tasks

1. To engage, manage and supervise Cancer Champions for the delivery of the Cancer SMART  programme with collaboration between Yorkshire Cancer Community and West Yorkshire and Harrogate Cancer Alliance.

2. To build relationships with charities, organisations and diverse groups where we can take Cancer SMART talks and information stalls.

4. To administer and oversee the collation and sharing of information relative to the objectives of YCC by using the appropriate means of communication. This will include social media, the website, calendar of events, effective use of YCC data sources and the newsletter.

5. To work with the Board of Trustees to support the governance of the charity which will include the preparation and management of trustee meetings, contribute towards Business planning and unding strategies.

6. To provide supportive supervision to the Administrator and Patient View Coordinator

About Us

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Governance Officer to join our team and help ensure strong, effective governance across the organisation. This role is key to supporting the charity’s trustees and senior leadership team to meet their legal and regulatory responsibilities, and to uphold the highest standards of accountability and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Board and Committee Support

• Coordinate meetings of the Board of Trustees and sub-committees, including scheduling, agenda planning, and circulation of papers.
• Take accurate and timely minutes and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are tracked and completed.
• Support trustee recruitment, induction, training, annual board effectiveness survey and skills review.
• Maintain trustees register of interests updating it annually or as and when needed, whichever is soonest.
• Monitor board members tenure periods and associated actions for re-appointment or termination.

Compliance and Regulation

• Ensure the charity complies with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. Charity Commission, Companies House, Office for the Scottish Charity Regulator, GDPR, Fundraising Regulator).
• Maintain accurate records including the statutory registers, governance documents, and trustee declarations.
• Write the statutory annual report sourcing content from relevant teams and updating all sections.
• Submit annual returns to the Charity Commission, Companies House and Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.
• Support the COO in working towards and maintaining compliance with the Charity Governance code.

Governance Best Practice

• Draft new, review and update existing policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice ensuring they are on a rolling timetable for review.
• Monitor developments in charity law, governance codes, and relevant regulations, advising colleagues and trustees accordingly.
• Support risk management and contribute to the maintenance of the organisation’s risk register.
• Maintain the register of Leukaemia Care’s contracts with external suppliers and funders.

Organisational Support

• Work collaboratively across teams to ensure governance is embedded in the culture and operations of the charity.
• Support internal audits and the implementation of recommendations.
• Provide guidance on good governance practices across the charity.

General

About the role

Collaborating closely with internal teams, external partners, and academic institutions, the Evidence and Impact team drives continuous improvement, innovation, and organisational learning. How you will make a difference

This role supports the organisation through a strong focus on business intelligence, data collation, and analytics. It plays a critical part in ensuring contract compliance through the development of effective systems and supporting quality improvement. The role involves contract reporting and the preparation of PowerBI dashboards, apps, reports, and presentations to inform strategic decision-making.

Key areas of focus include Criminal Justice, Peer Support Groups, People Analytics, Fundraising, Finance, and Risk and Governance. The postholder will work across these domains to provide clear insights and contribute to organisational learning and development.

Working hours for this role are flexible. It is a home-based position, but we value in-person collaboration, so some travel will be required to main office locations (primarily London) and occasional visits to services across the UK.

To support the range and depth of partnerships we have and the potential we see, we are looking for a Partnerships Manager to work primarily on building partnerships with Local Authorities and public sector organisations, charities and social enterprises, faith-based and inclusion-focused organisations and other groups who might help us strategically grow and resource the Warm Welcome network across the UK (NB Corporate Partnerships are managed by our newly appointed Fundraising Lead for Corporates). The Partnerships Manager will also help develop our support for Warm Welcome Spaces, including overseeing our Champions Programme which offers more intense support and a Community of Practice to a smaller cohort of local groups.

Responsibilities

Building Partnerships

● Developing our Partnership Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to help us grow the network and reach our ambition of 100% of the population living within a 30-minute walk of a registered Warm Welcome Space. This will involve identifying and engaging partners in geographical ‘cold spots’ for the network (utilising our mapping tool developed with UCL), as well as forming partnerships to unlock new or under-represented types of Warm Welcome Spaces (e.g. Housing Association Community Spaces, cinemas, community spaces created by new housing developments etc).

● Leading the development of our Local Co-ordinators Cluster which brings together Local Authorities and others who are leading place-based networks of community spaces.

● Overseeing and developing the Champions Programme, providing more intensive support and connections to a smaller cohort of Warm Welcome Spaces.

 

Engagement and Inclusion

● Developing our Inclusion Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to diversify our Coalition and support local Spaces to become more accessible and inclusive.

● Working with the team to develop regular engagement activities for Warm Welcome Partners.

● Producing compelling communications (written and verbal) to promote the work of the Warm Welcome Campaign and grow the depth and breadth of partnerships - to include but not limited to partnership proposals, pitches and reports.

Good Practices, Standards and Systems

● Supporting, maintaining and developing existing partnerships and manage the systems (including CRM use) needed for excellent partnerships delivery, stewardship and development.

● Leading Warm Welcome Space good practice and driving up quality standards across the network, including through developing a Warm Welcome Awards programme.

● Promoting good practice in volunteering and supporting Spaces to maximise and grow volunteering opportunities.

● Working with the team and, using our new CRM, track, measure and analyse our partnerships delivery.

Reporting to the Campaign Operations Director, you will work closely with them and other Senior Directors to grow the range and impact of Warm Welcome partnerships. CRM and Customer Data Lead

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated CRM and Customer Data Lead to join the Data Services Team.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the CRM and Customer Data Lead will ensure that the charity get the most out of the CRM data so that it can deliver insight driven selections and segmentations for the whole organisation, supporting and collaborating with colleagues to reach and engage with customers in a compliant and customer-centred way.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Oversight and continuous improvement of CRM data.
• Selection analysis and visualisations that support product owners to have a deeper understanding of our customers.
• Lead on increasing the utilisation of selection and marketing automation products such as Apteco Faststats and Peoplestage to automate customer journeys.
• Oversight and continuous improvement of Third party and Internal Data imports and exports with a focus on increasing the knowledge and utilisation of the organisations ETL tools such as Blender to provide business continuity and consistent, clean data quality.

About You

You will have a proven record of:

• Managing, developing and using a CRM database to meet organisation needs.
• Change management projects to support an organisation in better use of data and insight.
• Designing, building and implementing customer segmentation and models.
• Customer and product journeys within a marketing automation environment.

First Steps ED provide person-centred support to our service users for a range of disordered eating and eating disorder presentations.

The Head of Fundraising and Communications will lead on the development and implementation of strategies to diversify and grow our income streams, strengthen our brand, and increase engagement with key audiences. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the postholder will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships across trusts and foundations, corporate partners, individual donors, and community supporters. This role will also oversee all aspects of external communications and marketing, ensuring a consistent and compelling voice for the organisation across digital, print, media, and stakeholder channels.

The Head of Fundraising and Communications will provide line management and strategic direction to the fundraising and communications team, with accountability for delivering income targets and enhancing the charity’s profile and impact.

• Digital Agency and PR Management: Oversee the work of digital agencies and PR consultant to enhance online presence and engagement with public relations and media outreach.
• Ambassadors and Patrons Management: Engage and manage relationships with ambassadors and patrons to leverage their support and influence.
• Web Development Leadership: Lead the development and maintenance of the charity's website to ensure it effectively supports fundraising and communication efforts as well as providing clear and concise support to our service users, carers and professionals.
• Manage our portfolio of events: We have an emerging trend in challenge events, and we manage these carefully and mindfully especially long-distance sporting events. This requires key insights in trends and work with our marketing team on key insights.
• Working with the CEO: You will identify opportunities for strategic communications and growth. You will network with likeminded individuals from other charities and build sector connections.
• Senior Leadership Team: You will be an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team, which means working across the whole charity on tasks that may pop up, and planning with the team our Organisational Development.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior fundraising and communications role, preferably within the charity sector.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Relationship Management, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong strategic planning and implementation skills.

Claremont Park Community Centre is looking for a Centre & Community Coordinator to build on the strong foundations already in place, both within our Centre and across the wider community. This role will focus on developing and enhancing what already works well, alongside identifying areas for development, reaching even more residents of Claremont and helping our Centre grow as a welcoming, inclusive hub for our community.

This exciting new role will combine operational centre management with proactive community engagement. You’ll work closely with residents, partners and the centre’s trustees to ensure Claremont Park Community Centre meets the needs and interests of our community.

You’ll coordinate and deliver meaningful engagement activities, including externally funded projects and community-led events. You’ll also play a key role in implementing ideas from our People’s Plan and other local strategies, helping to create a stronger, more connected Claremont.

From managing centre bookings to hosting local groups, building relationships and bringing new ideas and activities into our space, this is a varied, hands-on role perfect for someone who cares about community and wants to make a tangible difference.
