In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.
Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]
- Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
- Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room.
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.
Delivery of Spear Career [20%]
- Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees.
Training the Assistant Coach [10%]
- Contributing towards the training and developing of the Assistant Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback.
Trainee recruitment [10%]
- Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.
Continuous professional development
- Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and supporting the Programme Managers with overall team training and development.
Active participation in and support for church team and mission
- As the Spear programme is run by Junction Community Trust in partnership with St Mark’s Church, Battersea Rise, you will be required to establish a strong personal presence at the church to develop the engagement and backing of church members and help build a strong network of supporters for the Spear programme. As part of this you may be asked to speak at church/events and contribute to prayer meetings as per Resurgo’s Christian ethos and the mission of the church

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Lead Trusts & Grants Officer is responsible for developing and delivering income from mid-value grant making funders, notably trusts and foundations. Fundraising and Grants Management
• Pipeline Management: Lead on prospecting, developing and managing the mid-value trusts and grants pipeline, focusing on bids around £20,000 - £70,000, including multiyear grants, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities to meet team income targets. Developing the skills and ability to manage higher value and more complex strategic bids.
• Application Writing: Develop and submit compelling, high-quality grant applications and proposals for mid-value funders, working closely with service teams, ensuring accurate budgets and income against Adoption UK’s strategic priorities.
• Stewardship: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of new and existing mid-value funders, providing timely and impactful reports to secure renewed funding, and developing relationships with key external contacts through excellent communication.
• Reporting: Oversee the accurate tracking of all applications, reports, and communications using team tracking methods, and the CRM database, providing regular progress updates to the Senior Trusts & Grants Manager.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Trusts & Grants Manager, the Trusts & Grants Officer, and service teams, to align fundraising activities with the organisation’s strategic priorities and annual income targets.
• Undertake other duties and projects as directed by the Senior Trusts & Grants Manager and Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications.
Team Management and Development
• Line Management: Provide line management and support to the Trusts & Grants Officer, including regular one-to-ones, appraisals, and professional development.
• Training and Mentoring: Guide the Trusts & Grants Officer on best practices for researching, writing, budgets, and stewarding of small-value grants.

About the role and you
We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced manager to join the Helpline team. You will support the Head of Stop It Now, working alongside our Helpline Managers and Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Manager in the day to day running of the helpline and provide support and advice to Helpline Advisors. You will have direct client contact via telephone, a secure message service and online chat. You will also support with the training of staff and promotion of the work of the helpline.
This is a highly rewarding role within a friendly, supportive and hardworking team which is committed to keeping children safe from harm.
You will have experience in working directly with one or more of our key target groups: - for example adults and/or children and young people who have sexually harmful behaviours, or child victims of sexual abuse, or family members of these individuals. Our ideal candidate will be an energetic professional, who is proactive and outcome focused with exceptional communication and relationship skills. You will be able to evidence a successful track record of working with individuals and families impacted by child sexual abuse. You will be able to demonstrate confidence in translating the charity’s mission into direct child protection practice and equipping other professionals in tackling child sexual abuse.

Utilising local networks and a philanthropic platform to guide investment, the CSJ Foundation will ensure that charities who are fighting the root causes of poverty receive the right support – both in policymaking and funding. These organisations are on the frontline in the fight against poverty and do incredible work, day-in-day-out. Despite this fantastic work, these organisations remain largely unseen and underfunded. The CSJ Foundation seeks to change that.
The Role
The CSJ Foundation is looking for a Regional Portfolio Manager (North) to join its Portfolio team to help grow and professionalise it’s offering to charities and donors alike. The CSJF has big ambitions for its work with small charities over the next 3 years, central to this work is our Portfolio team. Based in the north of England (ideally north of Sheffield), the post-holder will be responsible for delivering first-rate charity due diligence on some of the best small charities in the UK. In this role you will use tech solutions to drive insights and understanding about CSJF’s work with charities, in addition, the post-holder will gather intel from frontline charities to create insights to inform the CSJ’s policy work. The post-holder will also seek to generate interesting media stories. The post holder will help to generate new income for the CSJF through multiple streams. The post-holder will work towards pre-agreed targets to grow the CSJF’s work, fully supported by the Managing Director and other colleagues. The Regional Portfolio Manager will hold responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with multiple charities based in the North of England, engaging in conversations with local organisations and individuals, to ensure that the CSJF’s work is driven forward effectively.

Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this post include:
- Be a leading member of the CSJF’s portfolio team helping to professionalise and enhance our charity due diligence work

What the job involves
This is a unique opportunity to lead a pioneering sexual wellbeing service for men with prostate cancer, delivered in partnership with Movember. You’ll be the clinical lead for a remote information and support service, working directly with patients referred from NHS partners and helping to transform outcomes in sexual health and wellbeing.
You’ll oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of the service, working closely with our nursing team to ensure high standards of care. You’ll build and maintain relationships with NHS Trusts, expanding the reach and impact of the service. You’ll also lead a national community of practice, supporting clinicians to implement Movember’s Clinical Guidelines for Sexual Health and Prostate Cancer, and share best practice across the sector.
This role combines strategic leadership, service development, clinical expertise, and stakeholder engagement. You’ll be at the forefront of improving sexual wellbeing for men with prostate cancer, shaping a service that makes a real difference.
What we want from you
You’ll be a registered healthcare professional with significant experience in prostate cancer care, ideally at Band 7 or above. You’ll bring a strong interest in sexual wellbeing, with experience in areas such as erectile dysfunction clinics, and a passion for supporting patients and their families.
You’ll be an experienced service manager and line manager, confident in leading teams, coaching others, and driving quality improvement. You’ll have a track record of working collaboratively across healthcare systems, building relationships and influencing change.

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to play a key role in developing and delivering WAST’s women-led programmes. You will work closely with the staff team, management group (elected by members to define WAST’s priorities and organise activities), and our wider membership to ensure that projects reflect the needs and aspirations of the women who use WAST. WAST’s current priorities include delivering wellbeing activities (with a focus on trauma-informed approaches), running asylum information workshops, and strengthening our campaigning group. As Project Coordinator, you will help develop and manage initiatives that support these priorities. About WAST
Women Asylum Seekers Together (WAST) is a grassroots Manchester-based charity led by and for women who are seeking asylum and currently has around 170 members. WAST was founded in 2005 by one of WAST’s current board members, whilst fighting her own anti-deportation campaign, and became a constituted charity in 2014.
We provide a safe, supportive space where women can come together to build community, gain confidence, access peer support, and advocate for their rights. Women are at the sharp end of the ‘hostile environment’ with punitive government immigration policies and practice. WAST enables a process of empowerment through which women gain the confidence and strength to voice their experience and campaign for justice.
WAST is a place of hope and belonging with its core values of compassion, respect, inclusion and empowerment and its continuous development of its trauma informed peer support approach. WAST is proud of its pioneering work giving a voice to women seeking asylum and inspiring other women around the country to set up similar groups. WAST has been at the forefront of national campaigning against detention, has published three books and created two plays, giving voice to women’s experiences.
WAST runs weekly skill-building and wellbeing activities, a weekly drop-in session where women can access signposting and referrals to services, and a variety of external events throughout the year. Activities are identified and led by the WAST Management Group, elected by the membership and supported by WAST staff. WAST’s current priorities, as identified by the management group, include developing asylum information workshops, a range of wellbeing trauma informed activities, and advancing the campaign group.
