About the role:
As an Area Manager, you’ll lead and support shop teams across your designated area, made up of paid and voluntary staff. This position would ideally suit an experienced Area Manager, with a background in charity. However, we welcome applications form Area Managers with a solid background and transferable skills from the retail industry.
With proven people management experience, you will be confident, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills coupled with a high degree of competence in IT skills.

The StreetLink London service, is a team of x7 Assessment workers, a Coordinator, a Service Manager and a pool of dedicated volunteers. The service is funded by the GLA, Bloomberg and London Councils, and is service which offers support directly to people at risk of or rough sleeping in London. The service provides targeted telephone advice, advocacy and support to help prevent and resolve people’s rough sleeping. The service does so by finding solutions to connect people to vital services that can help resolve their homelessness.
The role of Service Manager will be to oversee the delivery and development of StreetLink London. In this role, you will oversee the day to day management of the London Support phoneline. You will be responsible for building the team and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help develop and improve the StreetLink London Service.

We are looking for someone with experience of leading a service delivery team; delivering best practice and high-quality support or advice services to vulnerable clients as well as an understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerable people. You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and committed to the need for continued learning and improvement necessary for Thrive at Five to develop a new place-based model for supporting early childhood development. This is a temporary role to provide senior programme and people management for our delivery team at the British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR). The role is fixed term during our Head of Policy and Programme’s maternity leave.
BIHR is made up of a talented and experienced Delivery Team who are Human Rights Act (HRA) practice specialists. For this post we are looking for an excellent manager, committed to supporting a small, busy, expert team to deliver Human Rights Act (HRA) practice, communications and policy work.
Your operational management and strategic thinking are the primary skills and experience needed. You do not need to be a subject expert in the HRA; that is the job of our Delivery Team. You must however, like all of BIHR’s team, be a champion for our work and bring the skills, knowledge and experience needed to support our team in the planning and delivery of BIHR’s objectives
This is an exciting role for someone with established management experience in the charity/voluntary sector, with a keen interest in UK human rights.

We are seeking an experienced philanthropy professional to lead and grow our income streams from individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, and corporates. In this role, you’ll lead the philanthropy programme, inspiring Trust and Charity staff and key stakeholders, and developing relationships with major donors. Reporting to the Director of Development, responsibilities include implementing a philanthropy strategy to meet growth targets over the next three years, increasing charity income, and managing a team of specialist fundraisers.
You will provide the highest quality donor cultivation and stewardship practices, oversee bespoke donor events, and manage your own donor portfolio. The role will also include regular reporting on activities and risks, collaboration with various charity departments, and ensuring compliance with fundraising best practices. Additionally, you will have a proven track record in significant fundraising, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and preferably, a background in health-related fundraising or understanding of the NHS.

If so, join St Giles Trust as our Fundraising Manager, where you will contribute to the implementation of our new Fundraising Strategy 23 – 26, plus have line management responsibilities and lead a sub-team who will have the responsibility to generate at least £500,000 per year.

About this key role
As a valued and integral part of the Fundraising and Communications team, our successful candidate will lead a small sub-team to generate at least £500,000 income each year, including the direct line management of a Senior Fundraising Officer, who you will support to line manage the Fundraising Assistant. We will count on you to implement effective processes and procedures across the fundraising and collaborating teams, manage and refine processes for recordkeeping and devise, maintain and update our Fundraising Handbook.
You will also be expected to manage the development and implementation of our Individual Giving Strategy and our Individual Giving income stream through single and regular giving appeals, as well as managing a portfolio of challenge events nationally that provides excellent stewardship for a range of participants. Developing and designing high-quality applications, presentations, and pitches to secure five-, six- and seven figure funding opportunities from Trusts & Foundations, Community Partners and High Net Worth Individuals is a key element of this role, as is providing excellent stewardship to existing donors.
What we are looking for
- Expert knowledge of the fundraising landscape
- Experience devising cultivation and solicitation strategies and database management
- Knowledge of fundraising best practice and regulations and of anti-discriminatory working practices
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to write compelling, tailored and informative copy for reports, applications and external communications
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative ideas to help us stand out to existing and new donors.
