About the Role

This is an independent, target-driven role where you’ll take full ownership of sales – but you won’t be working in isolation. This is a key position for someone who thrives on sales, relationship-building and growth. 

You will take ownership of outbound sales, and proactively seek opportunities across B2B, B2C and corporate growth (standing orders, wholesale and weddings), and work to ensure our pipeline is always full and well nurtured.

This is not a passive sales role—it's about being out there, finding leads, closing deals and growing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Sales & Business Development

• Identify and secure new B2B, wholesale, corporate and wedding clients.
• Unlock the potential of our existing client list through strategic outreach.
• Drive proactive lead generation, including cold calling, networking and LinkedIn outreach.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, converting them into long-term contracts.
• Attend tastings, sales meetings, and events to pitch Luminary’s offering and communicate our social impact.
• Keep CRM records up to date to track opportunities, conversations and progress.

Account Growth & Relationship Management

• Strengthen and expand relationships with high-value clients and key accounts.
• Spot and pursue upselling opportunities (e.g. regular standing orders, bespoke gifting, seasonal campaigns)
• Collaborate with production, fulfilment and packaging teams to ensure flawless delivery
   

Sales Strategy & Performance Tracking

• Lead on setting and delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Report regularly to the Managing Director on sales performance and pipeline health
• Use customer feedback and sales data to refine and improve sales strategy
   

Weddings & Corporate Events

• Respond to wedding and corporate event enquiries and develop new outbound opportunities.
• Build relationships with venues, planners and corporate gifting contacts.
• Prepare tailored proposals, quotations and tasting sessions for high-value prospects.
• Develop and implement initiatives to increase wedding cake sales

About You

• Proven track record in B2B or high-end food/hospitality sales
• Commercially driven with a “hunter” mindset – you thrive on securing and growing business.
• Strong network and understanding of Contract Catering
• Strong networking skills and confidence in both face-to-face and virtual meetings.

The opportunity......

You will play a central role in growing income across the Hospice and driving forward new, relationship-based approaches to fundraising.

With a focus on Major Donors and Trusts and Foundations you will personally identify, develop and manage relationships, with a focus on £5-25k+ opportunities.

 You will develop a new approach for managing and fundraising from small trusts and have the opportunity to learn and grow through working with the AD for Development on larger opportunities.

You’ll bring creativity and a results-oriented outlook, contributing to the wider success of fundraising at the Hospice.

The must haves.....

• Fundraising Success: At least three years’ experience operating in a Trusts and Foundations role (or relevant transferable skills) and a track record of personally securing and stewarding five figure gifts
• Proposition development: Creative in outlook and with experience of developing donor-centric proposals and reports
• Portfolio management: Knowledgeable in developing and managing a portfolio, and key prospect management tools and systems
• Data management: Experienced CRM user and with working knowledge of Data Protection Laws

• Institutional Funding or Major Gifts experience: Experience of fundraising from institutions or major donors
• Line management: Of staff or volunteers
• Event management: Experience of running stewardship and cultivation events

Discover! Creative Careers is a government funded, industry-led programme working to ensure there is a larger and more diverse intake of talent into the creative industries via a broader range of routes. Discover! Creative Careers, also known as the Creative Careers Programme, was kick-started with funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport in 2018 and has been shaped and supported directly by creative businesses, institutions, trade bodies and individuals. The delivery of the programme is led by ScreenSkills in partnership with over 25 organisations and through collaboration with industry, education, and careers professionals.

Discover! Creative Careers, Cymru will provide careers information and employer encounters to young people aged 11-18 and those supporting their careers decisions, with the aim of building a more diverse and inclusive future workforce. The programme will run until the end of March 2026, and will involve working across partners and in collaboration with creative industries organisations across 12 sub-sectors across Wales.

Role Summary

This exciting Project Coordinator role is central to the delivery of Discover! Creative Careers, Cymru, a high-impact initiative designed to open creative sector pathways for young people, particularly those from underrepresented communities.

Working closely with Into Film Cymru’s team and delivery partners, the Project Coordinator will manage the day-to-day planning, logistics, communications, and coordination of Discover! events, workshops, and in-school activity across the nation with support and guidance from the Project Manager.

This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong bilingual (Welsh/English) communication, and a commitment to inclusive practice.

The successful candidate will ensure smooth delivery of activity during a busy delivery window and support accurate data collection and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of Discover! Creative Careers, Cymru activities in partnership and with support from a wide range of partners. Events to include in-school and online events, creative careers talks, workshops, and live showcases.
• Act as the main point of contact for participating delivery partners and where needed, educators and Careers Leads during the project period.
• Support partners to manage bookings, scheduling, travel logistics, and delivery arrangements for all events, ensuring quality and consistency across different locations.
• Liaise and manage projects with support from Into Film central teams.
• Liaise and work closely with Discover! Creative Careers Teams across the nations to ensure alignment with UK-wide Discover! plans and timelines.

Person Specification:

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience of coordinating projects or events with multiple partners or stakeholders on a national level.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• An understanding of the Careers landscape in Wales and the CWRE and CWW frameworks.
• Proven track record and excellent communication and relationship-building skills, especially with educators, youth partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Demonstrated understanding of the education landscape and/or youth engagement in Wales. 
• Demonstrated understanding of the creative sector in Wales. 
• Confidence using spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or equivalent).
• Experience of managing logistics, bookings, or scheduling for live in-school or online activity.
• A commitment to inclusive practice and equitable access for all learners.
• Strong Welsh and English language skills (oral and written) are essential for this post. This role requires working with Welsh and English speakers across every aspect of delivery – including working closely with partners within the education, creative and cultural sectors in meetings, through emails and at public events.
• Ability to travel independently across Wales; full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

The charity is seeking a dedicated Philanthropy Officer to join its ambitious Fundraising Team and play a key role in sustaining and growing income from trusts and foundations. We are looking for a person who is driven to reach targets through building relationships with bereaved supporters and partner organisations. You’ll also manage warm stewardship of legacy pledgers & become part of a passionate team at JGDR.

Hours: 35 hour per week (with occasional weekend or evenings)

Location: This is a hybrid role, with regular travel required across our operating regions – including North and South Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and East Yorkshire. The postholder will be expected to work flexibly in the community or on the road for meetings with supporters or partner organisations on at least four days per fortnight, with a minimum of one day per fortnight worked from a Jerry Green Dog Rescue Centre (North Lincolnshire, South Lincolnshire, or Nottinghamshire). The postholder will also be expected to attend regular team meetings in an agreed location.

As our sites are in rural locations, holding a full UK driving licence and having access to your own vehicle is essential. (Business mileage is reimbursed according to JGDR’s expenses policy.)

Purpose:

We are seeking a confident, compassionate and target driven individual to lead on the delivery of JGDR’s in memory giving programme and support the delivery of legacy marketing.

Working with the Individual Giving and Legacies Manager, you will be driven to reach targets through building relationships. You will follow up with supporters who have given in memory of their dog, family member, or friend – often following a funeral collection – and help them take the next meaningful step, such as setting up a remembrance page, making a further donation, or exploring other ways to honour their memory. This role is responsible for raising circa £40,000 per year from a portfolio of in-memory products – with aims to grow this valued income line.

You’ll also manage warm stewardship of legacy pledgers and help deliver long-term marketing activity to keep gifts in wills front of mind.

This role would suit someone from a bereavement, funeral, or supporter-facing (sales or fundraising) background who is confident converting warm leads into action with care and professionalism.

Your role

You will sit in the Individual Giving and Legacies team and report to the Individual Giving and Legacies Manager.

Your focus will be on:

• Growing income from in-memory giving through proactive supporter engagement and lead conversion.
•  Delivering light-touch legacy marketing and warm legacy stewardship, in support of long-term growth goals.

Responsibilities

In Memory Fundraising

· Work with the Individual Giving and Legacies Manager to develop and deliver the operational plan for in-memory fundraising, including campaign ideas, journeys and stewardship.

· Engage with in-memory donors via phone, email, post and in-person conversations, offering remembrance pages and other meaningful giving options.

· Proactively follow up leads and develop a pipeline to track progress and maximise conversion.

· Convert warm leads into active fundraising, donations, or page creation on our tribute fund platform, MuchLoved.

· Develop and maintain relationships with funeral directors, pet crematoriums and celebrants.

· Promote in-memory giving internally, supporting Operations, Retail and wider Fundraising and Marketing teams to spot and signpost opportunities.

Legacy Marketing & Pledger Stewardship

· Work with the IG and Legacies Manager to craft and execute legacy marketing campaigns and materials, supporting with copywriting and creative development.

· Oversee stewardship of legacy enquirers, intenders, and pledgers, ensuring they feel valued, thanked and connected

· Organise and deliver events or moments of recognition for pledgers, to promote legacy giving to long-term supporters and other target audience groups.

· Manage relationships with relevant agencies and external suppliers, e.g. free will writing services, local solicitors, and Remember a Charity Week.

• Champion legacy giving across JGDR, including working closely with colleagues in Operations and Retail to ensure that Centres and shops are equipped with the information and training needed to promote legacy giving effectively.

Other Duties

· Contribute content for social media, fundraising newsletters, publications and local media to support marketing objectives and increase our engagement with adopters, supporters and donors online.

· Keep up-to-date with sector trends and developments in legacy and in memory giving

· Attend ad hoc supporter and community events to represent JGDR and promote legacy and in memory giving

· Act as a champion for fundraising compliance across the organisation, including ensuring adherence to the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice, the General Data Protection Act and PECR, and other relevant legislative requirements

· Manage any complaints from supporters with empathy and professionalism, ensuring sensitive issues are escalated and resolved appropriately.

· Act as a collaborative role model to the wider team, and build strong working relationships with colleagues across the wider charity to be an internal ambassador for Fundraising and Marketing

The Sporting Events Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals taking on sporting challenges and effectively managing relationships to maximise income.

As Sporting Events Administrator, you will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. You will work closely with the Sporting Event Managers (SEM) and Sporting Event Officers (SEO) to drive the continued growth of the charity’s sporting event fundraising income. You will also be required to show excellent organisation and relationship-building skills to support supporters.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Provide excellent customer service to Sporting Event fundraisers, to acknowledge support and increase long-term loyalty.

· Ensure fundraisers and volunteers have all necessary materials for fundraising initiatives.

Your contribution to the team 

Your role as Project MEL and Grants Officer will be critical in achieving the goals of the Projects Team to deliver high-quality support in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), project and grant management to colleagues across the organisation. You will support the Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer to roll-out innovative approaches to how the organisation captures impact, shares success stories and learns from one another. • Support colleagues to develop, improve and contextualise data collection and reporting tools and methodologies; 
• Participate in project start-up meetings and support colleagues to develop project M&E plans; 
• Plan and conduct internal reviews of key projects to support organisational learning and improvement of future projects; 
• Review data and information gathered either through systems (such as PEBI) or processes (such as Annual Reflection Process, cross-organisational meetings etc) to provide feedback to colleagues and feed into organisational learning; 
• Support the delivery of key learning and impact reporting products such as annual reports, internal review reports, quarterly management/progress reports; 
• Keep up to date with best practices in regards to MEL in order to provide recommendations on how organisational MEL systems and processes can be improved. 
 

Management of project management system (PEBI) 25%

 • Support PEBI champions to motivate their users to regularly update data in the system PEBI, enabling and facilitating the optimal use of the platform;
• Provide initial technical support to champions on issues with the system, in consultation with the Projects Team and escalate as necessary;
• Help to identify ways the system can be continuously improved and fully used;
• Maintain the user guide to PEBI and train new champions or support champions to onboard new users;
• Be the administrative lead for the system maintaining user access within the organisation and liaise with external consultants;
• Coordinate and lead regular meetings with champions across the network to update, discuss issues and best practice and share lessons learned;

Support contract management and project management function 20%

• Provide support to teams with regards to donor or other stakeholders contract management for the implementation of projects; 
• Review and maintain an up-to-date centralised grants filing system; 
• Where necessary, support colleagues to review and amend project documents such as plans and contracts to ensure delivery against project objectives and donor requirements;

Team support 5%
• Ensure the organisation is aware of what the projects team are working on, leading on drafting internal communications and coordinating check-ins with other teams to have a steady flow of information; 
• Undertake other tasks as are appropriate to the nature and scope of the post.

What you will bring to the role

Knowledge and Skills:

Essential
• Full understanding of grant management, project implementation tools and procedures; 
• Project MEL including designing MEL plan, data collection tools and indicators; 
• Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to relate with diverse people from different cultures; 
• Strong organisation, time management, communication and coordination skills; 
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and to multi-task, across different time zones; 
• Strong Excel skills and numeracy and budgeting skills;
• Attention to detail; 
• Excellent computer skills, particularly MS Office package (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) and some experience of using information management systems and databases;
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with outstanding writing skills; 
• Approachable, flexible and supportive; 
• Able to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.

Desirable
• Knowledge of human rights and/or key freedom of expression issues; 
• Experience of working in countries/regions where ARTICLE 19 works; 
• Develop innovative and creative proposal presentations/templates to increase our likelihood of winning proposals;

• Language skills in at least one of the other ARTICLE 19’s languages, i.e. French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Dutch. 

Experience:
Essential
• Relevant experience in supporting a team; 
• Experience working with donors, particularly EC, DRL, SIDA; 
• At least 2 years of work experience in project support functions including donor compliance, project management and MEL.

​Desirable
• Experience of working in an international organisation; 
• Experience of cross-team and long-distance working; 
• 2 years experience in working on an online project management system; 
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Plan or Microsoft Tasks.
