Experience and Skills:
- Previous Advice Role: Experience in an advice role with an understanding of how to develop the support we offer.
- Team Leader/Senior Experience: Previous experience as a Team Leader or in a senior role is desirable but we are open to developing the right person.
- Phone-Based Experience: Preferably in a triage/advice role, but general customer service experience is also suitable.
- Empathy and Support: Demonstrated empathy with a strong desire to help and support customers.
- Attention to Detail: Strong administrative and reporting skills with a keen attention to detail.

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we support babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Our aim is to reach every family that needs our help and to offer them the very best choice of care. Every year we need to raise £6.7m to keep our doors open and only around 17% of our income comes from government sources, the rest must be raised through fundraising activity. Our uncompromisable support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family and include overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, end of life care and home visits.

The team:
The Visitor and Audience Operations (VAO) department is at the heart of delivering exceptional experiences for all who visit Shakespeare’s Globe. Responsible for front-facing operations and visitor experience across the site, the department encompasses our visitor attraction offer; our tours and exhibition space delivered by Guides and Visitor Operations Assistants; a large Volunteer Steward team operating across our two performance spaces, and event support.

The Willow Major Events Team hosts a range of events to engage Willow’s key supporters. These range in large-scale events such as the Willow Ball and London Football Awards, to smaller more intimate events such as Golf and Shoot Days.
Job purpose
- This role will support the delivery of Willow’s programme of Major Events, as well as supporting third party events, ensuring that these promote and present Willow in a professional and compelling manner, maximising opportunities for donor cultivation, fundraising and maximising income generation.
- To work with the Events Manager on delivering events to an exceptional standard.
- To lead on auction procurement and fulfilment to maximise fundraising revenue.
Key responsibilities
Core Events
- To support the events strategy through delivery of high-quality events, designed to attract current and new supporters.
- To support the Events Fundraising Manager in ensuring that each event plan is actioned in a timely and efficient manner, as well as working with external suppliers, ensuring all suppliers work to agreed terms and conditions
- To assist in the research, development and planning of potential new event opportunities, ensuring that the events programme evolves in response to new fundraising requirements, opportunities and sector trends.
- With support from Event Manager, lead on events within the portfolio, working with key stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring delivery of a high-quality event.
Auction
- Lead on securing auction prizes for relevant events, developing relationships with key supporters and external businesses to secure exclusive and desirable auction items.
- Manage the auction fulfilment process, ensuring all auction winners are thanked post event and that lots are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Oversee online auction platform, ensuring accurate listings, engaging descriptions and looking for ways to maximise income.
Event Supporter Stewardship
- Provide support on guest management, ensuring a smooth process for guests during the lead up to and on the day of the event.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, guests and stakeholders ensuring excellent stewardship and recognition
- To identify opportunities to engage or recruit new event supporters to existing or new events in the Willow calendar.
General

The Research Officer role at Marie Curie is a key position within the Research Team and the larger Policy and Research Directorate. POST: Healthy Relationships Project Worker
RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Project Worker
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 9am - 10pm Monday to Sunday, (flexibility is expected to suit the needs of the project and young people)

The Healthy Relationship Worker will be responsible for supporting both young people and families around topics relating to relationships and sexual health through delivery of one to one and group work support.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide a support service to young people across Cardiff, working in partnership with statutory and voluntary professionals to ensure young people are supported with their sexual health and relationship needs.
• To plan, deliver and evaluate one to one and group activities which support the sexual health and wellbeing of young people in Cardiff, with a particular focus on vulnerable young people and those at risk.

We provide specialist recovery support and respite through our centre-based Enablement Service and outreach support through our Community Links service.
Headway Gloucestershire is a busy, growing charity providing services to people with an acquired brain injury and their families and carers. Every year we are challenged to raise funds to help deliver our services.
Our centre-based Enablement Service is the heart of Headway Gloucestershire. Open every weekday, we offer activities that focus on the five elements of rehabilitation: emotional functioning; cognitive functioning; learning; social interaction and behaviour. Our Community Links Service offers outreach advice and support for people with an acquired brain injury in Gloucestershire and is often the first point of contact.
The successful candidate will be working with adults in a residential setting delivering assessments, group sessions and one-to-one therapy to those admitted to the service. The post-holder will offer an intensive, abstinent-based programme with high levels of group therapy and a strong emphasis on aftercare support. The role will include facilitating specialist psycho-educational groups, 12 step, relapse prevention therapeutic groups and individual counselling sessions.
You will work closely with our Supported Housing team and be required to participate in regular team meetings. You will also be required to liaise with external agencies and work creatively to provide the most appropriate treatment plans for clients with complex needs. You may be required to cover occasional evening Aftercare groups.
Main Responsibilities
• Undertake assessments of people entering the service through various referral sources.
• Develop, facilitate, and review a group work programme that meets the needs of our clients. These might include dual diagnosis, trauma, cross-addiction, criminal justice issues and various types of substance use.
• Provide a holistic package of care to people which meets their needs and includes working with colleagues across other teams to help residents with diversionary activities, employment, training, and education.
• Work with the Supported Housing team to ensure residents are safe, secure, and maintain their tenancies and are prepared to move onto independent living.
• Provide a range of one-to-one interventions that might include MI, person-centered care, CBT, DBT and trauma work.
• Manage a caseload of individuals with a wide spectrum of needs.
• Assist residents to understand the effects and benefits of any medication prescribed for them and the importance of complying with treatment regimes. This might include liaising with pharmacists, doctors, and psychiatrists for monitoring purposes.
• Provide psychoeducation to raise awareness and understanding of substances and their effects.
• Provide onward referral and liaison with wrap-around support within SCT to enable our residents to achieve social integration and personal development.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll help deliver accurate monthly payroll administration, support colleagues across our UK-wide network, and play a key part in an exciting project to review and potentially upgrade our HR/payroll systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing monthly payroll changes (new starters, leavers, pay updates, statutory payments)
- Supporting managers with queries and system use (ResourceLink)
- Maintaining accurate employee data and records
- Generating reports and supporting HR data needs
- Contributing to systems improvement and change projects
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, data, and people—and who values getting the details right.
Where you’ll be based
The role is based at Field Studies Council Head Office, near Shrewsbury, with hybrid working options available. Your time in the office will be dependent on business needs.
Our Head Office is situated on the same estate as our Preston Montford Field Centre. The 12-hectare site is managed to provide a rich range of habitats, including ponds, a wildflower meadow, ancient orchard, the remains of a walled garden and even a Bee hotel!
Who we’re looking for
- Experience in payroll, with confidence using payroll systems (ResourceLink experience is a bonus)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of current payroll and employment legislation
- A professional and proactive approach, able to work both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude aligned with the values and mission of the Field Studies Council
