We work with those affected by homelessness and those vulnerably housed in Tower Hamlets, offering an integrated service of housing advice & support, access to substance use, physical & mental health services, as well as, training & progression programmes. We ensure that people often excluded from mainstream services gain the support and opportunities they need to create a safe, healthy and sustainable life.
The ideal candidate
To be considered for this role, you should be able to:
- Navigating the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, working with people who have a higher complexity in substance use and need additional support from multiple services.
- To work in a trauma informed and person centred way, empowering the client to make informed choices around their care and support
- Conducting street outreach with partner agencies to identify and locate people on your caseloads, who are sleeping rough.
- Managing a caseload of clients
- Attending partner agency meetings relating to rough sleeping & hotspots in the borough.
- Providing targeted harm reduction advice and information to individuals around the risks associated with drug or alcohol use and supporting people to improve their health and wellbeing.
- Signposting individuals to other support services inclusive of substance use, based on individual need.
- Removing the stigma of homelessness and for those who use substances and/or alcohol
- Breaking the barriers of which people experiencing homelessness face, when trying to access needed services

About the opportunity
As a Purchase to Pay Manager within our Finance & Assurance directorate, you'll own the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process that keeps our charity running. About the Role

Safeguarding Manager
This is a key role in the Freedom Fund’s Safeguarding Manager will work closely with colleagues to lead efforts to build internal capacity and embed strong, inclusive safeguarding practices throughout our work. You’ll coordinate a network of safeguarding focal points and champions across teams and geographies, helping ensure safeguarding is an active, everyday part of our organizational culture.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outreach Project Manager to lead our outreach service. This role is responsible for managing outreach staff, coordinating support across multiple hotel sites, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and quality standards, and providing specialist guidance to the team on complex client issues.
The successful candidate will have at least two years’ project management experience and direct experience supporting refugees and asylum seekers, with strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to speak a community language is desirable.

What you'll do
- Lead the development and delivery of Learning and Practice Development Partnerships
- Initiate, convene and participate in ‘field-building’ efforts that aim to influence the broader place-based change sector, bringing together community organisations, public sector organisations, policy makers, foundations and businesses to build broader support for community centred place-based change
- Develop Place Matters thought and practice leadership
- Draw together the themes and patterns from learning into regular blogs and publications to make the learning as widely accessible as possible and influence key policy makers and funders
- Initiate and convene field-building efforts to influence the broader place-based change sector
- Build a wide network of place-based practitioners from all sectors
- Play a key role in business development, securing new partnerships, fundraising, and improving organisational efficiency

Practical details
