About the role

This role plays a key part in the effective coordination and smoothly running of our training and events programme.

We are a looking for a colleague to join our small but busy, dedicated and friendly team. We arrange over 150 courses a year for more than 3000 people on a wide range of topics supporting practitioners in adoption, fostering and kinship. Courses are delivered online as well as in person. We pride ourselves on working as collaboratively as possible, while also recognising our individual areas of expertise and responsibility.

Main areas of responsibility, but not limited to:

Fundraising:

• Support income generation from a specific portfolio of high net worth individuals ‘Major Donors and Major Donor Prospects’
• Support delivery of the Major Donor mailing cycles and bespoke mailings including editing, data, printing and sorting.
• Ensure all donations are thanked and acknowledged in a professional and timely manner via relevant channels and by appropriate staff.
• Working to ensure online and offline communications include or exclude high net worth individuals in line with strategy and bespoke communication plans.
• Working with staff who manage our website to create and maintain bespoke landing pages and Partnership website pages
• Liaise with members of the wider team, specifically those working in Individual Giving to ensure; materials produced are always accurate & on brand and high net worth individuals receive any relevant communications produced by other teams
• Support wider fundraising activities and special appeals that involve high-net worth individuals
• Deliver on team KPIs and financial targets

Stewardship:

• Support Snr Partnerships Manager to ensure high net worth individuals bespoke Action plans are actioned and kept up to date.
• Support the stewardship of Major Donor Prospects and support development of donor pathways
• Lead on Major Donors Regular Giving stewardship:
• Working to uplift recurring gifts
• Secure new recurring gifts from Major Donors
• Coordinate a monthly regular giving membership newsletter Tibbir along with the Fundraising Officer (Individual Giving)

Support to the Partnerships Team

• Sharing partner project and budget updates as received
• Attend relevant Monitoring and Evaluation meetings (online)
• Support and provide cover during Partnerships Team members visiting Ethiopia
• Supporting the stewardship of family Trusts (managed by Partnerships Assistant – Trusts & Foundations focus)
• Prospect Research (managed by Partnerships Assistant – Trusts & Foundations focus)
• Potential to support out of office meetings and events

Administration:

• Ensure gifts received are coded correctly taking into account Gift Aid, appeals, specified funds.
• Ensure donors details are correctly recorded and updated
• Support compliance with GDPR and donor’s communication preferences.

Our mission is to bring hope and positive change to children and families.  To achieve this we deliver a range of services.  The Catholic Children’s Society (CCS) is one of the largest providers of mental health services to schools in London.  Currently we have over 50 counsellors/therapists working on-site in approximately 70 schools (both Catholic non-Catholic).  We also provide high quality early years education and family support, including offering emergency assistance for families in crisis.

The Salvation Army – Assistant Head of Individual Giving - Supporter Acquisition and Innovation Unit

About the role:

Part time Job Share, 3 days per week

£28,000 - £30,000pa (pro-rated to £16,800 to £18,000) + benefits

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity enables families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness to make the most of time together, providing expert, practical and emotional support, where they need it for as long as it is needed.

This role will provide proactive and efficient administrative and operational support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees, whilst observing the strictest confidence. Provide proactive and efficient administrative support at the Head Office. The Senior Leadership Team comprises the Chief Executive, Director of Care Services, Director of Finance and Operations, Director of Fundraising and Engagement and Director of HR & Volunteering. The role is responsible for a wide range of cross-organisational tasks and projects as directed and will be part of a job share arrangement, working 3 days per week. The post holder will live the Rainbow Trust Values and effectively communicate with all stakeholders, over the telephone, online, by email and face to face.

About the role:

This Best Companies Top 100 mid-sized company and Top 20 charity is looking to appoint an Executive Assistant to provide proactive and efficient administrative and operational support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees, whilst observing the strictest confidence. This is a part time job share role, working 3 days per week.

Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be responsible for a wide range of cross-organisational tasks and projects, including leading on general operational issues at Head Office including franking machine, stationery orders, cleaning materials, managing and monitoring switchboard voicemail messages, sign-in sheets, shredding, parking etc. You will act as key point of contact for Trustees and a wide range of external contacts, maintaining a professional, confidential and responsive approach.

Having worked in an administrative support role, you will have exceptional organisational skills and will support the Senior Leadership with their day-to-day activities, including the monitoring the progress of their various projects and organising, as required, internal and external meetings for each SLT member including sector-wide meetings.

A confident user of MSOffice and experience of managing multiple diaries and priorities – you’re efficient and organised, produce high quality accurate work, are able to carry out instructions carefully and respond promptly to enquires.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and a team-oriented focus

Patient and consistent – you have better-than-average attention to detail and accuracy, even with repetitive work, and make cautious decisions within clear guidelines

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide support to the CEO and Board of Trustees, as well as adding administrative capacity and office management function to the Staff Team. This is an integral role that requires a diligent, detail oriented individual, with a passion for the vision of Prison Fellowship.

Our mission is to show Christ's love to people in prison by coming alongside them and supporting them. We run a number of programmes, including Angel Tree, Sycamore Tree, Letter Link and Pastoral Care.

This position is 35 hours per week across five days. This role is based in our office in London (SW1). We are open to discussions about flexibility, including hybrid working.
