The role of Fundraising Lead is to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. You will develop high value 6- and 7-figure fundraising relationships, primarily with the private sector, but also with HNWIs in the future, bringing on board new supporters, so maximising income and sustainability.
With proposals already in play with leading brands, a supportive Head of Fundraising, and active trustee involvement, this is a rare opportunity to make a visible impact in an ambitious organisation.
As Fundraising Lead, you will:
- Lead corporate new business, with full responsibility for a £300k year-one target
- Build and manage a proactive new business pipeline, using prospect research tools, networking and trustee engagement
- Secure six-figure, multi-year corporate partnerships, developing creative offers across unrestricted, programme-based and blended opportunities
- Focus in the short-medium term on corporate new business, moving to incorporate HNWIs in time
- Work with the Head of Fundraising, SMT and board members to open doors and build senior-level relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues including the account management team and bid writer to ensure seamless handover and delivery of secured partnerships
- Represent STEM Learning externally, positioning the organisation as a credible and attractive partner for major corporate supporters
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proven track record of securing six-figure corporate partnerships, ideally multi-year
- Experience building a corporate pipeline from scratch, including research, prospecting and networking
- Strong understanding of how to package and position fundraising propositions to align donor interests with organisational priorities
- Confident and credible with senior stakeholders, including trustees, boards and senior corporate contacts
- Target-driven, entrepreneurial and proactive, able to deliver short-term results while building long-term income growth
- Collaborative and resilient, with the ability to represent STEM Learning externally and inspire confidence internally
- Experience in building relationships with HNWIs and major donor fundraising desirable, but not essential

Job Purpose
As a Night Shelter Manager, you’ll be the lead staff member for your shift, overseeing the safe and smooth running of one of Glass Door’s seasonal night shelters between November and April.
You’ll work alongside Overnight Homeless Shelter Workers and volunteers on your shift to make sure the shelter is a welcoming, safe, and respectful place for up to 35 guests. Your role is to set the tone for the night: briefing the team before opening, welcoming and inducting new guests, explaining our shelter guidelines, and ensuring everyone knows their responsibilities. You’ll be the first point of contact for any issues during your shift, whether that’s supporting someone in distress, addressing concerns or responding to challenging behaviour.
You’ll also ensure shelter procedures are followed, keep accurate records of attendance and incidents, and maintain clear communication with the casework team so they can follow up with guests. Alongside leading operations, you’ll actively work with guests, volunteers, and colleagues to create a friendly and supportive environment where everyone is treated with dignity.
This role is ideal for someone who can remain calm under pressure, lead a small team confidently, and is committed to supporting people as they work towards ending their homelessness; all while making sure the night shelter runs smoothly from start to finish.
Job Description
As the lead staff member for your shift, you’ll be responsible for the smooth and safe running of the shelter during your working hours. You’ll work closely with Overnight Homeless Shelter Workers and volunteers, setting the tone for the night and making sure everything runs to plan.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Shelter van – Drive the van from its parking location to the shelter at the start of the shift, keep it tidy, and carry out basic stock checks before departure, reporting any shortages for restocking.

Working with the casework team – Share relevant information about guests’ welfare and needs to support follow-up work.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Job Description
This is a new role, joining a small and growing fundraising team. The purpose of this Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager role is to grow LMK’s income generation from Charitable Trusts and Foundations, to support delivery of LMK’s mission.
The role is a true combination of independent and collaborative working. Independent in the writing of bespoke funding applications and reports, maintaining accurate records on LMK’s CRM, and researching to continually build LMK’s pipeline of Trusts & Foundation prospects.
And collaborative in the close working with LMK’s core team to monitor and report on restricted grants, and working together with the wider fundraising team on creative projects such as: maintaining an updated library of cases for support, implementation of fresh and creative stewardship strategies that bring LMK supporters closer to our work, and cultivation strategies that engage supporters to whom LMK is brand new.

Key Responsibilities

Writing bespoke funding applications: you will be responsible for maintaining a regular pipeline of applications, writing and submitting proposals to new and existing Trust & Foundation supporters, including six-figure and multi-year grants, working to targets for both income generated and outputs (e.g. number of proposals per month).

Grant reporting: using LMK’s CRM system and working collaboratively with the core team to produce high quality, timely reports for both restricted and unrestricted grants.

Job Purpose
As a Night Shelter Manager, you’ll be the lead staff member for your shift, overseeing the safe and smooth running of one of Glass Door’s seasonal night shelters between November and April.
You’ll work alongside Overnight Homeless Shelter Workers and volunteers on your shift to make sure the shelter is a welcoming, safe, and respectful place for up to 35 guests. Your role is to set the tone for the night: briefing the team before opening, welcoming and inducting new guests, explaining our shelter guidelines, and ensuring everyone knows their responsibilities. You’ll be the first point of contact for any issues during your shift, whether that’s supporting someone in distress, addressing concerns or responding to challenging behaviour.
You’ll also ensure shelter procedures are followed, keep accurate records of attendance and incidents, and maintain clear communication with the casework team so they can follow up with guests. Alongside leading operations, you’ll actively work with guests, volunteers, and colleagues to create a friendly and supportive environment where everyone is treated with dignity.
This role is ideal for someone who can remain calm under pressure, lead a small team confidently, and is committed to supporting people as they work towards ending their homelessness; all while making sure the night shelter runs smoothly from start to finish.
Job Description

- Managing a portfolio of public engagement events, including the delivery of the summer exhibition in Dublin each year and public engagement events across NI, Scotland and Wales

· Support the SLT and Board in developing a comprehensive framework for reporting on the charity’s impact, including to funders.
Oversee and support monitoring submissions.
Fundraising:
· Develop, implement and evaluate a fundraising strategy in line with MumsAid’s priorities, to include key areas of focus – fundraising from trusts and foundations, statutory fundraising, corporate fundraising, to secure c. £500k over the next 2 years.
· Research, formulate and write applications, bids and tenders, including to statutory funders and trusts and foundations, coordinating with other team members for input as necessary.
· Build strong relationships with existing and potential funders, partners and stakeholders.
· Write reports for funders to meet deadlines and submit further applications for existing funders where appropriate.
· Work with the SLT and Board to develop and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, funders, partners and corporate organisations to ensure good communication about organisational/project progress, address any issues that arise, and identify new income streams.
Organisational and General Duties:
· Maximise fundraising efficiency by using and developing our CRM to ensure there is a clear process for recording and managing fundraising activity.
· Contribute to the financial planning, budgeting and management accounts process.
· Contribute to the development of MumsAid’s understanding and communication of our Return on Investment (ROI).
· Report regularly on KPIs, monitoring and evaluating against social impact and ROI.
· Develop and manage a reporting schedule for the Board and funders to ensure monitoring and reporting is in done in an effective manner in line with organisational priorities, tracking restricted and unrestricted income, project development and targets.
· Maintain awareness of fundraising and charity law and ensure that activity adheres to relevant legislation and guidance.
Communications and Marketing:
Liaise with colleagues to help shape and implement our marketing and communications plan, ensuring our reputation is upheld and our knowledge is shared through positive, consistent and accurate communications and messaging.

Promote and support equality, diversity and inclusion, e.g., ensuring that the views and voices of MumsAid’s service users are considered in all aspects of fundraising initiatives, including in the discussions of need and impact.

Key Experience and Skills:
· Proven track record of working with trusts and foundations, corporate and statutory funders, including expertise in writing applications and stewarding grants.
· Experience of major donor fundraising.
· Ability to bring creative ideas to the table that mirror our strategic direction.
· Financial literacy and management experience, confidence in working with budgets, creating a financial narrative, and working with databases.
· Demonstrably outstanding written communication skills with the ability to write compelling copy, tailored to a range of audiences and platforms.
· Proven track record of building positive relationships with funders, partners, volunteers, and supporters; you may already have a network of relationships this role could benefit from.
· Articulate speaker, able to present and repackage complex information in succinct and digestible format.
· Microsoft Office proficient, Proficient with Word, Excel and able to put together PowerPoint presentations.
· Ability to develop strategies, operational plans and KPIs in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
· Excellent working knowledge of voluntary sector funding streams.
· Excellent teamwork skills but with the ability to work independently.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with the foundation to recruit a Funding Officer on a full-time (or 0.8) permanent basis to work on the Creative, Confident Communities (CCC) strategy as part of the team based in Kings Cross. Esmée operates on a hybrid basis, with a minimum requirement of two days in the office at Kings Cross (Tues & Weds). The role will also require UK travel on occasion.

The role:
This role will provide vital support to the foundation’s assessment and management of funding applications, grants, and programme development. The Funding Officer will manage the key administrative functions for the team, as well as a broad portfolio of grants and funding relationships, ensuring strong engagement with partners throughout their funding journey. A key part of the role will involve gathering learning from funded work through reviewing reports, calls, and visits, and feeding this learning into the wider CCC strategy.
Working closely with senior members of the team, the postholder will assess new funding applications, draft recommendations, and contribute to CCC’s strategic development, such as research, convening events, and visits. They will play an active role in supporting the foundation’s decision-making processes, while also contributing to collaborative projects and sector networks.
The person:
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, analytical, and curious, with an interest in one or more of the CCC focus areas. Experience in grant-making, funding, or working in a related environment would be an advantage but is not essential. What matters most is a strong interest in the work of charities, voluntary organisations, and community groups, and an ability to understand the challenges they face.
You will be confident managing and interpreting complex information, including financial data and project plans, and able to communicate your findings clearly both in writing and verbally. Strong administrative skills and database experience are important, alongside the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
Personally, you will be empathetic, practical, and collaborative and able to build relationships with a wide range of people in a professional and supportive way.
