Job description
Ready to lead multi-channel campaigns that bring in the next generation of supporters? Orbis UK is hiring a Supporter Acquisition Manager to drive ambitious growth and deliver sight-saving impact around the world.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a small, collaborative team with a big global mission: to end avoidable blindness. You’ll lead the strategy and day-to-day delivery of Orbis’s supporter acquisition programme, recruiting new donors across a range of fundraising products and channels.
  • Job title: Supporter Acquisition Manager
  • Salary: £45,000 to £48,000 depending on experience
  • Location: London (near Charing Cross), with hybrid working – Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent
What makes this role stand out:
  • Lead on planning and executing insight-driven campaigns across digital and direct marketing channels
  • Own a substantial acquisition budget and forecast long-term ROI
  • Collaborate across teams to shape integrated supporter journeys and audience development strategies
  • Join an international charity that blends fundraising with training, treatment, and innovation to transform global eye health
  • Bring fresh ideas into Orbis’s innovation pipeline and contribute to a broader digital transformation
You'll be responsible for:
  • Developing and delivering Orbis UK's long-term supporter acquisition strategy
  • Leading annual budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring
  • Managing media, creative, and fundraising agencies and partnerships
  • Overseeing creative production and content to maximise appeal and response
  • Analysing campaign results and making data-led decisions to optimise ROI
  • Ensuring brand consistency and compliance across all acquisition activity
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has managed significant customer or supporter recruitment budgets
  • Knows how to plan, deliver, and evaluate multi-channel campaigns
  • Has strong direct and digital marketing knowledge and can oversee creative development
  • Is confident managing suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Brings a collaborative, proactive mindset with a curiosity about what works and why
  • Believes in Orbis’s mission and is motivated by measurable impact
Why work at Orbis:
  • You'll join a committed, professional team where fundraising is respected and valued
  • You’ll have scope to shape strategy and test new ideas
  • You’ll play a direct role in improving access to eye care in some of the world’s most marginalised communities
  • You’ll benefit from hybrid working and the opportunity to collaborate across international teams
Apply now and help bring in the support that will fund life-changing surgeries, training and treatment across the globe.

We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability and potential; please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustment so that we can help with making the application process work for you.
