PCS is looking for effective and enthusiastic Member Response Team Administrators with experience of working in a busy customer-focused environment. As a Member Response Team Administrator, you will be the main point of contact for PCS members and union representatives seeking advice and guidance.

Our Member Response Team Administrators provide efficient office and administrative support, engaging with members, representatives and colleagues through various communication channels including phone and email, encouraging member retention and supporting the PCS ethos as an organising union.

Successful candidates for the Member Response Team Administrator will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience of providing information and advice to members or customers enquiries

The main duties of the Member Response Team Administrator role include:

• Providing timely and sensitive support for our members enquiries through a variety of communication channels
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records in our Salesforce database
• Efficient administrative support for conferences, ballots and other activities

The Member Response Team Administrator role operates on a hybrid working basis, with flexibility to work from home outside of peak periods. Due to key operational and democratic activity, attendance in the office is required daily from February to April each year, with additional in-office periods as needed. Outside of these times, hybrid working arrangements will apply in line with team requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Member Support

• Engage with members, representatives and colleagues through various communication channels including phone and email
• Provide a willingness to adapt to new channels coming onboard and new technologies
• Conduct research to provide information and have a good level of knowledge to support our members
• Signposting on the range of membership benefits PCS offers
• Process and assess benefit claims in line with policy
• Support members to access assistance from local reps within the PCS activist structure
• Liaise with lay officials and colleagues to identify and take ownership of resolving any issues within the local bargaining areas
• Support PCSs goal of member retention
• Ensure cases allocated via CRM, and cloud-based calls are worked effectively and efficiently
• Work with the Team Leader to resolve and escalate members queries via the case management system

2. Telephony Support

• Use cloud-based telephony service for inbound and outbound calls
• Provide prompt and accurate call back advisory role
• Provide a rapid response service to enquires from PCS representatives and members

3. Maintain CRM database

• Use Salesforce based CRM to create and amend membership records
• Ensure information security and Data Protection by maintaining good practice for GDPR/DPA compliance
• Update payment records of members in a timely fashion. Identify and address any issues which may arise with external payroll teams
• Update, maintain and restructure activists, branch, group and employer information
• Support members, lay officials and colleagues to access digital channels to promote self-service maintenance of the database
• Ensure all union policies are adhered to, with particular reference to subscription policy

4. Office Support

• Full range of clerical and office administrative support
• Use Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, email, internet and intranet to carry out day to day duties
• Arrange for and distribute newsletters, circulars, etc
• Send, receive and deal with correspondence and electronic mail

About the Role

As a IDVA you will provide high quality support to victims of domestic violence and abuse. You will deliver and provide support in five key areas to support victims to:

• Feel safer
• Feel informed about their rights and the criminal justice system
• Feel listened to and heard
• Be able to implement healthy coping mechanisms
• Be connected with services who are available to help them

Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide appropriate non-therapeutic support to victims of domestic abuse via their preferred contact method.
• Undertake needs and risk assessments to develop tailored individual safety and support plans to address the specific needs of the victim.
• Use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential record keeping and contribute to the collection of outcomes.
• Liaise with the police, social services, CPS, and other agencies on the client's behalf, with the client's consent maintaining confidentiality
• Provide information to victims to enable them to make informed choices about their future options. Ensuring that the voices, needs, rights and legal entitlements of older people are heard and understood by all individuals and organisations.

About You:

Ideally, you will hold an approved and accredited IDVA qualification (or you must be willing to work towards one)

You will need:

• A strong understanding of domestic abuse and violence and the impact this has on victims.
• Experience of working with victims of crime (preferably domestic abuse) including completing risk assessments and safety planning
• Experience of managing a caseload and keeping clear case management records.
• Experience of adapting communication styles to be able to effectively communicate.
• An understanding of trauma informed practice and how to implement this within your work
• A through understanding of the criminal justice system and the Victim's Code
• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and other legal requirements
• Good IT skills including experience with working within bespoke case management systems and using Microsoft Office Packages.
• Organised and methodical approach to work with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload

About this role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to lead our fundraising and partnership development activities, supporting the diversification and growth of income across both established and emerging streams. Other information

This post is home-based, but with travel (including occasional overnight stays) for team meetings, events, member engagement, and external meetings. This is a permanent position and includes a probationary period of three months from the date of appointment. Responsibilities 

Financial & Grant Coordination

• Support Epic’s bi-annual grantmaking process, including but not limited to drafting and distributing grant agreements and archiving documentation.

• Manage the process of financial reporting from Epic’s portfolio organisations, coordinating with the Operations and Programs teams to verify compliance with Epic’s reporting requirements.

• Assist with administrative monitoring of supported organisations, including data collection and documentation management.

Psychotherapist / Counsellor

At Prospect Hospice, we know that facing a life-limiting illness can bring profound emotional and psychological challenges for patients, families and those who care for them.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Psychotherapist or Counsellor to provide specialist psychological support to people navigating the complex emotional realities of serious illness, loss and end of life.

This is a meaningful opportunity to help people explore fear, grief, identity and resilience, while supporting clinical teams to deliver truly holistic hospice care.

The role

Working as part of our Family Support Team and wider multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist psychotherapeutic assessment and intervention for patients and families experiencing complex emotional and psychological distress.

Your work will help ensure that psychological and spiritual care remains fully integrated within our hospice services.

In this role you will:

• Provide specialist 1:1 psychotherapy and counselling for patients and families with complex psychological needs
• Support people experiencing distress related to diagnosis, illness progression, trauma, grief and loss
• Contribute psychological expertise within multidisciplinary team discussions and care planning
• Provide consultation, supervision and training to staff and volunteers
• Lead reflective practice and staff support where appropriate
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of psycho-spiritual services across the hospice

Through your expertise and compassion, you will help patients and families find ways to cope, adapt and maintain dignity during some of life’s most difficult moments.

About you

You will be an experienced psychotherapist or counsellor who brings both professional expertise and emotional insight to your work.

You will have:

• A recognised counselling or psychotherapy qualification and registration or accreditation with a recognised UK professional body
• Experience delivering 1:1 psychotherapy in complex or emotionally demanding settings
• Strong skills in assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention
• Experience supporting people facing serious illness, trauma, grief or bereavement
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

About the Role:

You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to work alongside professionals in a multi-agency environment, although we will consider applicants from other fields providing you are able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of both domestic and sexual violence.

This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home, our office in Singer Street.

As a DRIVE Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:

• Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
• Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic and sexual abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
• Have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to be able to influence the way in which this service is delivered are key.

You will need to:

• Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic and sexual abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
• Have a good understanding of domestic and sexual abuse including the impact of abuse on victims and their children.
• Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic and sexual abuse and their children.
• Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
• Experience of direct service delivery to victims of domestic and sexual abuse or other vulnerable people.

The Role

As a IDVA you will provide high quality support to victims of domestic violence and abuse. You will deliver and provide support in five key areas to support victims to:

• Feel safer
• Feel informed about their rights and the criminal justice system
• Feel listened to and heard

• Be connected with services who are available to help them

Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide appropriate non-therapeutic support to victims of domestic abuse via their preferred contact method.

About You:

• Experience of managing a caseload and keeping clear case management records.

The Role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be responsible for a range of activities, including:

• Managing the relationship with our maintenance provider to ensure our building is in good repair and being maintained as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Supervising work that is happening onsite to understand the cause and solution as well as making sure that it is conducted safely.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace through regular inspections, keeping all spaces safe, reviewing RAMS, and enforcing our permit-to-work system.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Occupational Therapist (Sensory & Attachment) will deliver high-quality, trauma-informed occupational therapy assessment and intervention to families with a history of adoption, kinship care and long-term fostering. The postholder will bring advanced expertise in sensory processing/sensory integration and the impact of early adversity, attachment disruption and developmental trauma on regulation, participation and family life. ·Prepare high-quality written outputs including assessment summaries, recommendations, letters and reports suitable for families and professionals; contribute to documentation required for commissioning/regulated service evidence as needed.

CRITERIA

Knowledge and Experience

•  Significant experience working with children and young people and their parents/carers.

•  Experience delivering assessment and intervention for sensory processing differences and regulation needs.

•  Experience delivering remote/online OT interventions and caregiver coaching.

•  Experience of group work (parents/carers and/or young people).

•  Experience of working with adopted children, previously looked-after children, kinship or long-term foster families (or closely related settings).

•  Strong understanding of attachment, developmental trauma and the impact of early adversity on regulation, behaviour and participation.

•  Ability to integrate sensory strategies with relational/attachment-informed approaches.

•  Training/experience in DDP, PACE, NVR, therapeutic parenting or other attachment-informed models.

•  Expert knowledge of sensory processing and sensory-based regulation strategies.

•   Ability to differentiate sensory needs from (and understand overlap with) trauma responses, anxiety, and neurodevelopmental differences.

•  Sensory Integration training (e.g., postgraduate modules) and/or recognised competency frameworks.

•  Knowledge of neurodevelopmental profiles (e.g., autism, ADHD, DLD, FASD) and how these can interact with trauma/attachment and sensory processing.

•  Ability to provide accessible psychoeducation to families and partner professionals.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in helping Crisis secure the income needed to end homelessness. Working across a portfolio of new and existing grant funders, the postholder will build strong, strategic relationships that lead to five and six figure gifts and long-term support. It is a role that calls for someone bold in pursuing new opportunities, confident in communicating the complexity of homelessness, and motivated by the chance to turn insight and evidence into funding that makes a real difference. Alongside managing relationships, the postholder will develop compelling proposals and reports of a high standard, ensuring every approach is aligned with Crisis’s long-term goals and grounded in the impact our work can achieve.

The role is also deeply collaborative and equitable in scope. Success will depend on working closely with colleagues across Crisis, including service heads and frontline teams, to identify funding opportunities, gather robust information and shape cases for support that reflect the realities of homelessness and the voices of people with lived experience. Reporting to the Engagement Lead, the Engagement Officer helps strengthen local stroke communities by bringing people together, championing lived experience voices, and building warm, trusted relationships with volunteers, partners, and healthcare professionals. The Role

The service aims to identify and provide key worker support to meet the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway. Providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

The Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Support stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.
• Work collaboratively with NHS colleagues and other areas of the community to make a difference in the lives of people affected by stroke.

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:

• A caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.
• Setting up and running virtual groups.
