What you’ll do
- Scope, design and develop innovative online courses to to meet the needs of our learners (Resident Doctors and Consultants)
- Facilitate course design workshops with SMEs (doctors and academics), explaining learning design principles and recommending content types which meet busy online leaners’ needs
- Develop learning design plans, storyboards and scripts for online courses which meet our pedagogical and cost/quality frameworks
- Design and develop high-quality, interactive e-learning content using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Synthesia, and Canva.
- Create compelling interactive exercises, visuals, animations, videos and branded templates to bring learning to life.
- Stay ahead of design trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance our digital learning offer.
- Support the marketing of digital learning resources by identifying compelling features and usage trends.
- Help maintain and improve our Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure content is up-to-date and accessible.

The Role
Role Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated individual to join us in this newly created HR and Governance role at Dialogue Earth. We are seeking an organised and proactive person to provide day-to-day support across both functions, with around 70% of the role focused on HR. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, global environment while contributing to meaningful work.
The HR and governance officer will lead and manage the organisation’s human resources, governance, and compliance functions. They will ensure that HR function and practices are fair, legally compliant, and aligned with organisational values, and will support the Board of Trustees in fulfilling their governance responsibilities. This role combines operational HR management with oversight of governance processes, supporting a positive, inclusive, and legally compliant working environment.
Main Responsibilities
Human Resources:
● Coordinate recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and contracts, applicant screening, supporting interviews and collecting references;
● Manage staff onboarding processes and induction material;
● Maintain and update HR policies, the staff handbook, and training records in consultation with the COO;
● Manage the HR system (Natural HR or equivalent) and ensure records are accurate and up to date;
● Manage EAP scheme, training, and benefits (e.g. Climate Perks, glasses benefit, Cycle to Work scheme);
● Coordinate staff performance reviews and support line managers with induction, appraisal, and probation processes;
● Manage visa applications for qualifying staff;

The IT and Web Support role works closely with and reports to the IT Manager to support day-to-day IT support and web site operations organisation-wide across Retail, Education (short courses and degree), Marketing, Fundraising, Operations and Finance. In this role, you'll support day-to-day internal IT and external website operations, including supporting staff, tutors and students, solve both internal and customer problems, and help administer, maintain and develop the IT estate.
This is a wide-ranging role suitable for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys an investigative and pro-active hands-on approach to solving IT issues, content and data tasks and problems, managing systems and processes, and is comfortable understanding day-to-day needs and translating them to online and IT deliverables and working in a busy cross-team environment with non-IT stakeholders.
You will have experience of IT support and administration within a Microsoft Windows / Microsoft 365 environment, including liasing with and supporting non-technical users as well as be comfortable using IT core applications notably spreadsheets (including importing and manipulating text data), databases, basic graphics editing for online usage, cloud computing, and website content management (preferably with some level eCommerce experience).
Main job purpose:
Supporting the RSN IT Manager in matters related to internal IT, customer-facing websites and other digital systems and services, including providing support for users, managing devices and the network, and providing data reports as required to enable delivery of various objectives ranging from digital and IT transformation, sourcing new products or courses and providing the data for business planning.
Main Duties

Provide ‘hands on-site’ IT support and co-ordination (i.e. assisting and supporting the IT Manager) for investigating level 1+2 IT problems and resolving issues with staff, students, tutors and other RSN contacts

Assist with various day-to-day IT administrative task, such as setting up new accounts, installing software, managing licensing, supporting hardware, patch management etc.

Assisting departments with data handling and reporting tasks, including investigating and resolving customer issues (e.g. web site orders), and helping to co-ordinate and resolve other day-to-day IT needs and issues.

Import, export and manipulate data from various systems, create reports and other materials for Finance and management as well as the above departments.

Essential Requirements

The Role
We’re looking for experienced, energetic and confident freelance facilitators to help us deliver our tried-and-tested activities — from team-building and orienteering to improv games, problem-solving challenges, debates, archery, and axe throwing. We don’t expect anyone to be experienced in all of these - every member of our team of freelancers has their own areas of expertise and choose to be deployed on particular activities that most suit their skills and experience.
You’ll be working with a diverse range of schools, from primary and prep schools, right through secondary to sixth forms, facilitating sessions to inspire teamwork, communication, resilience, and leadership.
You’ll always be working on a day under the guidance of one of our Founder Directors, Tom and Alex.
Important to know
We are looking for freelancers who may be available for work and who fit our ethos, values and activities to whom we can offer as and when it comes in.
We couldn’t do what we do without our core team of trusted freelancers. We look after those we work with by offering regular training and observation opportunities so they can expand their repertoire.
However, joining our pool of freelancers will not involve a fixed contract of employment or a guarantee of regular work. Our existing freelancers work with us anywhere between 3 - 15 days per/year. Such work offers very useful supplementary income alongside other roles at other organisations (or their own) rather than a core income. Our busiest times of year are:
September — where we deliver team building/bonding days for new year groups
May, June and July — where we deliver similar days but usually as part of school activity weeks
We anticipate further growth at these times, and also are looking to expand our offer to more indoor/lower cost days in the Autumn/Spring term. And to deliver these we will need more staff!
